There is a 20% auto-gratuity as is typical of this type of establishment and Kay was transparent about that -- luckily the service was actually great so I wasn't mad about that at all. Food came out fast! My burger was made correctly, but there was no option given to customize how it was cooked. The portion for the brussel sprouts was huge and it was no extra charge to sub in for fries, but they were shockingly sweet -- I couldn't finish them for that reason and I love brussel sprouts. Next time I'll probably go with broccoli instead. I have to take off stars for a few reasons. This spot only serves with plasticware and that undeniably cheapens the vibe, even though you're easily dropping an average of $30 for food (cocktails were averaging $20 alone). I was fortunate enough this trip to have a nice gentleman cover my drink. Additionally, some of the staff were unashamedly glued to their phones WAY too nonchalantly in front of customers (I was really glad I sat at the bar LOL). African American gentlemen didn't catch his name. I'm out of town from Chicago looking for good time and I step into line and they only take cash or cash app. That's solely fine but the gentleman who took my payment had such grotesque energy it was extremely baffling to me. I had trouble finding the cash app and Instead of helping me out he says and I quote "Well I think your ears are clogged" are you kidding me? That was extremely rude and he resides with this dry apology when I told him his statement was rude. To conclude, he is the sole reason why I don't go out because of rude customer service. He lacks people skills. Maybe he should work at McDonalds where that behavior is tolerated. This extremely embarrassing to even have to write but I had to say something.
