Extremely fun and low key spot located in EAV! I live in the area but couldn't pinpoint the "vibe" of the establishment until I saw Taye Diggs and Ayprl Jones hanging out here on their IG. After seeing it wasn't a 'stand on top of the chair' type establishment I decided to visit. My visit was around midnight on a Saturday. The lounge was empty except my date and I but - it lacked nothing. The drinks were delicious and DJ had a good mix happening. I'm not one for a large crowd so - I enjoyed the low-key atmosphere. This lounge was pretty cool. The venue is spacious, but not too big. I like the space because I really don't like going out to places with too many people. Maybe I just went on a good night, but everyone was mature and social. The DJ did a fire job, he kept the vibes going the whole night. (Gucci Mane, Lil Baby, etc. but he was able to fit in some slow jamz here and there too) My server was very polite and helpful. The hookah themselves could have lasted a little longer than they did before having to get a refill, but that's pretty much expected at any hookah bar. I honestly have nothing negative to say about my experience at ILounge. I purchased a voucher on Groupon that included two martinis and a hookah for two. They also had an option for four. I called ILounge before arriving just to make sure there were not any conditions to use the Groupon (Because I know How Groupon could be). The person that answered the phone was very nice, and answered all of my questions. I asked about parking, cover fee, food, and using the voucher. And everything that was answered was accurate. Kudos to the staff for great service and being knowledgeable about the business. I can't stand inconsistencies with staff. Parking was Free 99 (My favorite), with two parking lots in the back of the location. We parked in one of the parking lots that was directly behind the back door of ILounge. On Friday's and Saturdays, they have a group of guys who grill jerk chicken, jerk ribs, tilapia, and turkey wings. The plates include rice and peas, two plantains, and cabbage. The plates are between $9 and $10, if you pay cash. I also saw that they take credit too. You can also bring the outside food into the lounge. I bought a plate of ribs (pictured), and ended up grabbing a chicken plate when I left to eat for lunch the next day. The vibe inside the lounge is very intimate yet classy at the same time. We came in on the tail end of a private event featuring local artists singing and rapping (Almost like spoken word vibes NOT Atlanta HOOD TRAP rapper vibes). Our waitress Claudia took wonderful care of us. The only bad moment was a drunk lady bumping our table, and spilling my boyfriend's drink on the table and on both of our pants legs. Claudia took care of us though. She checked on us several times. She got my boyfriend a new drink, and made great recommendations. I really liked my Melon Martini the best, and the Mango hookah was good (no nasty taste), and pulled just right. Not too strong (making me feel all lightheaded, and not weak to the point where it ran out quickly. I will definitely be back with my boyfriend or even a group of friends. The bathroom was also very clean as well, which is always a plus. This is a hidden gem on Glenwood (Not the Hood part.) I say give it a shot. Also the DJay played great music and I loved how the music matched the music videos on the flat screen tv's. We turned up when Wild Thoughts came on and Cardi B Bodak Yellow, but there was still some R&B played too. It was a great night. read more

We are looking for hookah places in the area abc found this place. This spot was great ! For a 21+ crowd. It was a nice small intimate space . They played new and old jams . They had $2 shots and they have hookah and a full bar . The only downside to this place is there is no food offered . You would have to go across the street or eat before . We were able to sit in a section no charge . We also didn't pay an entry fee to get in. The only thing you pay for is the drinks and hookah of your choice . We really enjoyed ourself Saturday night . Walking in I had to pay 5 dollars at the door but was provided with a sanitary wipe and hand sanitizer. The bodyguard was extremely nice as well as the lady at the door. Once I was in and it's a nice small hookah lounge. After 30 minutes I was never acknowledged by the waiter. This night it was only about four tables, and everyone had their hookah already so, they were not bothering the waiter much. My boyfriend went to the waiter twice to ask for service as she told us to hold on aggressively. I believe the waitresses friends were at the lounge as she ignored the rest of the customers and sat and giggled with their table the entire night. After waiting another 15 minutes I decided to leave and never return. I understand that things get busy (which was not the case this time) but customer service goes a long way. Little did we know that we were going to end up jamming to a dj crew that interacted very well with the customers vibes and music choices. We were blown away by the sax player performances to songs from moneybag, Lil baby and R&B artists. Don't come to this place if you are expecting a huge megaplex with a large dancefloor and 2-3 bars spread out over the floor with hundreds of waitresses waiting to take your money. This is a lounge (like the name says) and it's one of my favs at the moment. I like the lay out of this spot and thd DJ spins some really good hits (old & current). I've been when it's kind of dead and i've been when it was completely packed and have not been disappointed. It's a great place to throw a party, too. They have amazing drink prices (which is almost unheard of) and the bartender doesn't give you a watered down version of the drink you really requested. I love this place! Check it out! read more

I went to iLounge on a Friday night to celebrate the founding of my company. I brought a group of about 15 people, we purchased two sections and bottles. THE SERVICE We arrived after 11PM (Because who in the heck arrives before that time when you have a section? Nobody!). We walk in ready to party and we were met with nothing but confusion and changed information. First the promoter didn't have the section ready. Someone was actually sitting in it. When we sat down nothing was brought to us. I had to ask several times for the hookah that comes with the section. The promotor said it didn't come with the section, and told me that if we had been here early than everything would have been setup. He said since we came late, nothing was setup and the hookahs are now $30. Each time we ordered anything, the waitress would immediately ask us for payment. I mean EVERY TIME. She treated us as if we didn't have any money and would walk out without paying. This was a slap in the face and many people in party took great offense to it. We literally had to break from dancing and relaxing to speak with a bill collector. Each time she came we tipped her 20% hoping she'd see that we will pay her. Making matters worse, she kept the change from a $100 bill for a $30 hookah. THE VENUE The lounge is basically a hallway with couches along the wall. The black lights were a nice touch. The bar is beautiful. This is a nice venue for a few happy hour drinks, but I absolutely don't recommend it for any event that involves standing or mingling. They have these clever tables with a built in hole for the hookah (so nobody drunk will knock it over). Unfortunately, the tables are tough to come behind from when you have people in the booth. the tables seem cool as an idea, but in reality they are a pain in the butt if you're wearing heels or say "That's my jam!" And want to dance. Lastly, the house DJ is horrible. I've heard better mixes on a cruise ship. The DJ is one of those who actually plays the entire song. (Face palm). Don't come here expecting to hear Top 40. You will hear all Atlanta Trap music with random "put you to sleep songs" and a set of reggae that's 15+ years old. He did not mix, match tempos, nothing! The club would have been better off paying Spotify $9.99 The bathroom was nice and clean. MY RECOMMENDATIONS This place is great if you: - only bring 3-8 people - only want to sit and not dance - don't purchase a section - plan to cash out after every single drink - don't expect great service - are ok with them only having on server on duty - wear a little white so you can glow - bring a good group of friends. Found this place on Groupon originally. Decided to make the trip for my best friends birthday. Before our whole party showed up we were sat outside. They have a cute patio area that would have been fine to sit at except you could not hear the music. They moved us inside shortly after we ordered our hookah and our server was really nice. We had a great time. I do wish our server would have told us that we could only use two groupon per party, which I understand just wish I knew even though we told her we would be using the groupon and ordered as such. Other than that small hiccup and the sight decline in service towards the end of the night we had a great experience and would definitely return. read more

Nice spot! They play great music and have music videos playing to go with (at least the night that I went). Hookah was nice and reasonably priced! Drinks were as they should be. Smaller sized space but definitely underrated compared to all the other overhyped and overpriced spots in Atlanta. Only thing I would recommend to them is to either re-arrange their set up or to add more seating/standing area that is less awkward if they were to get popular! Other than that.. It had everything... ed hardy/ affliction t shirts, skimpy dresses, heels, hookahs, Persian people, the tongue and groove crowd, 90s music videos, strobe lights, EDM/ trance, 1 bathroom, general lawlessness... So fascinating. Sat at a booth for a while, then some pornstar/ strippers sat next to us and started making out. still fascinating. So I guess i'll have to go back on a regular night to see what it's really like since I hear its open late. Thanks for the ridiculous NYE people watching until 4 or 5 am. read more

Pretty cool spot- a diverse crowd with diverse nights, and in a cool neighborhood, so you can check out a few spots in one evening. Parking on the street can usually be managed. The staff is friendly. The tunes and video feeds are cool. The decor is retro modern, kinda cool but could probably use an update. Cover is sometimes a little steep, but bear in mind that the $ is going to the entertainer for the evening. Its a cool place worth checking out, esp if you like the band or DJ playing. read more

This was tricky to rate. The spot itself is dope with a small but nice setup & a banging DJ. Nice, clear sound & tvs throughout. They are also drink & hookah specials and a Caribbean food vendor in the back which is really good. They even had a Groupon deal at one point. The problem is its never crowded or full or close to it which makes it as little dull. It is a great place to host a party because it doesn't take a lot to get the party started with your friends! The DJ & servers are all very interactive too they just need the people. So I hope you read this & book u a party there. I don't think you'll be disappointed unless the price isn't right. 3 stars because without the crowd it's just ok. 15 is a good number but they can definitely handle more. I'm trying to be as fair as possible with this review. I was here about a month ago with a friend. First off, they have security at the front door which I don't mind, but again be fair about it. The security guard patted me down, but barely checked her purse. After we got inside, my homegirl told me that he barely looked inside her purse and that if he did, he would have noticed a few things that she couldn't have brought inside. He told that I noticed that as well. Working in the safety arena, you have to be aware of potential threats from men and women. When you get inside, it is a very nice ambiance. I had a Groupon that they had no problem honoring. The drinks and hookah were ok. I've had stronger and smoother hookah from other places. The DJ was pretty cool and on point.
