2019 Yelp 120 Challenge - #25 This cute coffee shop is located in an office building right off of the Dallas PKWY. I came one afternoon during lunch in hopes of trying their popular banana bread, but they were sold out. I tried a Gather club instead and I was pretty impressed. The Gather club was pretty huge sandwich, that I had to bring the second half home to my husband. I opted out of the chips on the side and asked for fires. I didn't like the fries as much because they were string fries. They do have steak fries, but on my next visit I will be a little more specific. This cute coffee shop gets pretty busy during the lunch hour, and you are welcome to call in your order ahead if you are short on time. They offer different items daily so the menu is subject to change, and they offer happy hour. I can't wait to try Gather again in the early morning, so that I can try their banana bread. read more

DO NOT BE DECEIVED BY THE PICTURES!! ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING AND RUN DOWN. My bf was taking me out for brunch for Valentine's day and as soon as we arrived we couldn't find it and went inside the front of the building only to find no cafe. We turned around got back inside the car and drove to the back and surprise there it was! But, to our dismay, as soon as we walked in we had to turn around and leave. The chairs were torn up like they had been found in the back of an alley there were no cooks and the only person in sight was a woman with a hairnet sitting in one of the torn chairs with her back facing us. Discovered this coffee shop when trying to locate coffee near me that I haven't been too yet. I was so confused about where maps was taking me only to find that this place was located inside of an office building that is under some heavy construction inside. I'm sure once it's all done it will look a lot better, but the Gather itself is well put together. We ordered coffee and sat down for maybe 3 mins before the barista came over to us to tell us that they are closing early. I asked her if by early she meant right at that moment and she said yes. She didn't tell us that when we ordered our coffee. It would have been nice for her to be like "hey we are closing early just FYI, so I can do your coffee order but I'm closing up right after." and I would have appreciated that more than her just randomly coming up to us after we sat down and got comfortable. It just seemed strange. I also ordered a vanilla latte with oat milk and there was zero trace of vanilla in it, but the oat milk latte by itself was fine. I love it! And they can pretty much custom make any coffee drinks you would like! The website for this place is very deceiving. It looks rundown inside, with no cooks, appliances, chairs/tables, and everything looks old. Upon walking in, I thought the place is closed. The only person working there is a young guy who has zero knowledge of how to make coffee. I should've listened to my instincts and walked out as soon as I entered the plc. I ordered a vanilla latte w/ half and half milk and a blueberry muffin. When I arrived at work, I took a sip of the coffee - less than a sip - thank God. What a surprise to find this wonderful restaurant located in this new office space. At first glance, I was really impressed with their cleanliness and decor. More importantly I was blown away by their food choices. Everything I've eaten here in delicious! The avocado toast with over easy egg was over and beyond the rest I've had around the country. Perhaps it's the perfectly toasted seed bread. For lunch I usually try their daily special. The other day it was pulled pork on top of mac n cheese.
