Our waitress was attentive, answered all of our questions, and was great about a few modifications we asked for. They do have some gluten free and vegetarian options, though not a huge amount of gluten free. We started with the beignets and they were excellent. Perfect portion for two with a couple topping options. I would go back just for those. I ordered their take on eggs Benedict and my husband had the classic breakfast plate. Both were really flavorful, but the seasoned potatoes were a standout. Portions are generous, we ended up getting two more portions out of the leftovers. Overall, a really fun and memorable brunch spot. I am looking forward to going back for one of the events when they have live music.

I hadn't tried the new restaurant since fall as I only come through Plummer maybe 4-5 times a year. I was looking forward to it, but wow....we were so disappointed after our visit. I don't like the new protocols. You can't seat yourself any longer. When we came in, there were only three other tables being used and no hostess. We waited a ridiculous time for someone to seat us. Why, I don't know. Also, ridiculous wait time to pay the bill. Why are waitresses always MIA when it's time to pay the bill? SO annoying. They were nice, but that's not enough to make up for the inconvenience. An older couple left cash on the counter up front and left while we were there. I guess they got tired of waiting to pay too. Also, the place has no vestibule or double entrance to keep the cold out. If your'e sitting near the door, the cold whooshes in everytime it opens. Bad design. I'm hoping that they plan to add that later. I gave it two stars because the place is really nice. I imagine that eating there in the evening is probably nice if you have the time to wait. Overall, the food is still good, but not worth the price increase. We used to get out of there for about $29-30 for three lunches....now, it's almost $40! It's not that I couldn't afford it, but for a simple burger lunch? There's no reason that should cost what it did. Having worked in business management for over 30 years, I can see this place is not going to make it unless they make some drastic changes. It's so sad because it's a nice place, but if you want people's business, you need to give them what they want, not force fancy on them. They need to bring back convenience and hire more people or at the least, a hostess who will get them drinks while they wait. I hope I'm wrong about it. I will revisit in the spring and hope that they made improvements. If so, I'll update my review. read more

We stopped in before going to casino. Waitress suggested popular items. Breakfast is served all day so that was tempting, but we took her advise on the hand pressed, fresh, hamburger and homemade fries. The meal was hot and fast and delicious!
