UPDATE: post job being done diy. I was charged $531 for a removal and replacement of "Remove Driver's Side Valve Cover -To Inspect & Take Photographs Of The Camshaft -for extended warranty company". The manifold gasket seems like it may have been new however they left the old intake manifold gaskets on that get unsealed when the valve cover is removed. Gaskets aren't meant to be reused. (black gasket is for the valve cover white gaskets are for the manifold). read more

I was a loyal customer for almost 2 years.  I value communication. I had an appointment on the Tuesday before the 4th of July for my 2009 Chevy Malibu because my engine light was on.  I dropped if off at 8:45 am and was told in 2-1/2 hours we should know the problem.  In short no one called.  Wednesday I called at 11:30 am and left a message, and at 4:50 pm I called and my call was dropped.  On Thursday morning I called them at 8:18 am and was told "our goal is to have an answer by this afternoon".  No one called, no one returned my calls, and no one answered my calls.  They were closing for the 4th of July holiday for 3 days and no one would get back to me.  They had my car for 3 whole workdays, and they had it for the 3 days they were closed.  When they opened on that Monday following the holiday weekend, I walked in their lobby at 8:45 am and took my car back with only their diagnostic.  I took my car to a different mechanic, and it only took 1-1/2 hours to get a written diagnostic and a plan to have repairs done to my car. I ask you....  What were they doing with my car for 3 workdays, and why did they not give me an option to have it back for the holiday weekend before their 3-day closure? Excuses of we are very busy, and we are having problems with the "WIFI" dropping our calls, just do not make for good customer confidence. read more

would give zero stars if I could. My husband brought his Mercedes AMG in 2 months ago after it died on the road. The car displayed symptoms of a possible alternator issue and told miracle this. Miracle agreed with him and told the techs this. After supposedly testing the alternator they concluded that it was not the alternator or battery and must be a wiring problem. They asked to rip the dash off to probe the wiring. They ended up not doing that. The car sat in the lot in the same spot it was dropped off at for the whole time it was there. In total three techs were assigned to the car and none of them knew anything. A month and a half later they completely ditched the idea of faulty wiring and somehow jumped to the idea of low compression when that does not explain any of the symptoms. Adequate diagnosing was not complete. They wanted another 200 dollars for a second round of diagnostics. In addition, Miracle always had some excuse as to why the car wasn't done; "oh my tech broke his elbow" " oh my tech threw his back out" "all the techs have the flu". Miracle never gives a straight answer and instead gives you the run around. She did a really good job at making you feel bad for them. We understand that AMGs are hard to work on so the day after we dropped the car off we asked if they were comfortable working on it and they said yes. But these techs seem incompetent. My husband ended up paying around 200-300 dollars for non-existent diagnostics and still was left at square one. We ended up towing the car to a different shop. This shop does not know what they're doing. Please go anywhere else than here. You'd probably have more luck working on your own car than letting these guys do it for you. This place also needs more front desk people. When my husband would call some random man would answer and tell him Miracle would call back. She never did because this dude never told her to call. If you're gonna answer phones and say you're gonna call back just do it. This whole experience has been extremely stressful, exhausting and an overall nightmare. Our vintage Volvo had an electrical problem in the driver's door. Electrical problems can take a lot of time to unravel. The faulty ground repair totaled four solid hours; the problem affected not only the window switch, but the left turn signal and dome light, etc as well. Originally, we thought it was a mechanical problem on the window lift mechanism and then the electrical to further troubleshoot. Gateway's team, particularly Owen, got the car in and out the same day for us. We set up an appointment for 10 am and we got the car back by 3:30 pm. The entire team was very conscientious and professional. We might have to use them again! read more

This place is only in it for the money and will loosen bolts as they are supposed to be tightening them. The employee's are rude, ill tempered, and disrespectful. I couldn't even get a quote for a repair with OE parts that I would supply. I was told and i qoute " I've been doing this for 20 years it will never turn out well when a customer supplies their own parts." I was then hung up on as he was speaking some obscenity. Please DO NOT use this business due to the fact they are only here for the profit from their captive audience of customers that are stuck using thier services due to a broken vehicle at their shop as well as lack of other similar services. read more

Took my truck to Gateway Automotive due to automatic transmission problems. They charged $580 to "diagnose" my problem, recommending rebuild or replace the transmission. Estimate for new transmission was $4800. I should have pulled the pan myself. I think their "diagnosis" was very expensive. read more
