A…read morefather, probably in his 30s or so, caused a huge commotion over a dispute about three sets of collectible cards, maybe Pokémon or as I call them Toy Cards for children. I know this because he was shouting it through the rooftops where everybody can hear him.. His behavior was completely unacceptable for the public and towards the employees!! He was shouting and using horrible vulgar language, making it impossible for anyone in the store to ignore him. It was heartbreaking to see his young son, who looked like an elementary student, caught in the middle of this embarrassing display. The poor kid was clearly mortified by his father's actions. I know I would if I was in that kids shoes. Let me take a moment to give a shout-out to JOSH and MATEO. I only knew their names because the man was yelling and demanding their names to be publicly spoken while he was screaming at them. They truly handled the situation with incredible professionalism. They tried everything to calm this guy down, even while he was filming them and demanding their names. Honestly, management owes these two an apology for the garbage they have to deal with from customers like that. It looks like he even left a review yesterday as well maybe under the name Dj R because he put their images in his post and that's pretty much what they were wearing yesterday which shows you that this person lacks credibility not only in his posting but with his public spectacle. But I am not sure, it sure looks like him based on the toy cards. If I were you, I would never trust this man's postings or reviews based upon what I saw for a simple toy cards for an immature father. If you see this person coming around, I'd stay far away from him as he's probably a danger to himself, possibly others near him and we pray not to his child. Good Job to Josh and Mateo!! Accidentally left my reusable water bottle in the shop on Sunday and tried to call a half hour…read moreafter leaving to ask them to hold onto it for me to pick up later since I had other plans where I couldn't go back immediately. The call went to voicemail and they never called back. I went back at 4:50 PM (their posted closing time is 5 PM) and they were closed already. I tried to call again and no one answered. They didn't open again until Tuesday. I came by to ask about it and they said it had been thrown away by one of their employees because it had spilled and no one came back to claim it. Who throws away a reusable water bottle? Obviously it's someone's property and any reasonable person would think to hold it for at least a business day or two. I had called the store several times to ask about it and all of them went unanswered. I even tried to call back right after receiving their text that it had been thrown out and that didn't even go through. I had said it was frustrating that my property had been thoughtlessly thrown away and the store owner retorted that it was frustrating that someone else knocked it over onto their cards, as if it was my fault. Not to mention that their binder cards are grossly overpriced. Don't shop here

Warning: Do not submit cards for PSA grading through Rizo…read more To be clear, I am well aware of standard PSA delays; my negative experience is entirely due to Rizo's poor communication and broken processes. I submitted my cards in January, they were picked up from PSA in May by a Rizo representative and now cannot be located by anyone at Rizo. Lack of Proactive Service: In May, my cards sat on an "Accounting Hold" for two weeks. When I called to inquire, staff dismissed it as "just a payment thing" and did not reach out to PSA until I explicitly demanded they follow up. My grades were ready the very next day. Logistical Failures: My cards were shown as picked up from PSA on 5/21, and as of today 6/1 are still not available for pickup. When I've asked Rizo for the status of these cards, staff ca not provide any delivery estimate, simply telling me, "Oh, it's really random." I still have not received my graded cards, and no one at the store can tell me when I should expect to get them back. Save yourself the headache and submit your cards directly or through another LCS that cares more about transparent communication with their customers.

The space itself has a great aesthetic, and the players there reflect the same positive energy. Everyone I've interacted with has been welcoming and kind. A special thank you to Nick as well. Every the I've visited, he's always been chill, flexible, and incredibly welcoming, and his honest personality really adds to what makes the shop feel so genuine. Been here on a few occasions & was met with ZERO help. I even called here the other day to check if they had a card which I later found out they actually did have in stock. Which was a $250 I was willing to buy at price & when I called to check if they still had it, I was told "no I can't check for you.. there are too many cards in the display" I'm sorry what are you doing with your lazy self in a lonesome card shop in which I've never seen more than 2 customers in. Just lazy, incompetent and ill informed employees. Do better. This is such a stark contrast to this companies other shop on Olive in Burbank where the staff has been beyond friendly, helpful & informative. My wife and I were on our way home to San Diego and we were impressed with the selection compared to the many LCS's we have back home. They really have it all: TCG, sports, boxes, packs, tables for ripping, supplies, bulk boxes, binders to go through, SUPER cool art and murals hanging around, and as a bonus, a whole separate room where they have a golf simulator, basketball hoop, and more collectibles. I was also happy to see a few comics around but main course here is definitely the trading cards. Staff was awesome during our visit. Oday, one of the managers, gave us a quick tour of the whole shop since it was our first time. He was dope to talk to and willing to help out with any questions I had. I know they host streamers and trade nights here occasionally from their IG, but it was a chill Monday morning when we came. Saw some military guys rip the chase they were hoping for from a recent Pokemon pack. What a cool place to hit your chase! Most people will probably comment on the pricing being somewhat above market, but for a card shop of this caliber, with this much selection, it's honestly reasonable. They are a business after all. If I lived closer I'd probably be here weekly lol. They also buy cards and have a lot of bins/binders to go through so there's still plenty of goodies to spend hours digging through, no matter what you're hunting for. I saw a lot of cool Pokemon singles that I don't always see at shows either. Will definitely make this a regular pit stop when we are driving by!
