The food, while basic, is given some love and it's pretty decent! Shockingly, their salmon tastes pretty fresh. Most is frozen I'm sure, but they do their best to fancy things up with sauces, etc, and pretty successful! Service is always great. Kind people. Quick. They have an upstairs area you can book/block for private parties which is great. Really appreciate this place and I'll continue to be a steady customer!

What a difference a year makes!…read more We came back after about a year, and I have to say, we were genuinely impressed by how much this place has improved! The food is WAY better, the menu has definitely changed, and we actually like the new menu much more. We visited on First Friday this month, so of course they were busy. Despite that, the service was amazing. I didn't catch our server's name, but he was a super sweet guy with glasses. Even with a packed restaurant, his service never dropped, and our food came out surprisingly quickly. That really stood out to us. Now let's talk about that homemade ranch... OMG. It is ADDICTIVE! Seriously, I could probably put it on everything. I ordered the Black & Bleu Wagyu Salad, and overall I really enjoyed it. It had great natural flavors from the sliced apple, bleu cheese, fresh red onion, perfectly cooked steak, mixed greens, and that nice crunch from the walnuts. My only suggestion would be to slice the red onion a little thinner and give the vinaigrette more flavor. The dressing was a little too mild compared with everything else going on in the salad. Fix that vinaigrette and this dish would be perfect! The wings were delicious, and of course I had to steal a bite of my husband's Saloon Smashed Burger and it was delicious too! Overall, two thumbs up! The interior looks the same as last year. We noticed a huge improvement in both the food and service compared with our visit a year ago. It's always nice to come back to a place and see that they've clearly listened, evolved, and gotten better. We'll definitely be back!

For having only a few other customers in there our meals took quite awhile to arrive. Once they did arrive the portion size was on the small side & the quality of the food itself was decent at best. National Cheeseburger Day?…read more I just found my spot. Relatively empty for lunch which helped ensure prompt service (which I might've gotten anyhow). Attentive, polite, and patient server, Sean. Absolutely delicious burger cooked to perfection. Simple, straightforward and loaded with flavor. Waffle, fries, while not a disappointment, were not what I expected. Yes, I did order them. But I expected hot fries, and these came more lukewarm. However, they were not greasy. They were still crispy, and in fact, they were nice change of pace. Topped it off with a cold draft brew. My kind of lunch, which means I will be back.

The fish and chips are excellent, the fried Brussels sprouts are a must-order, and I highly recommend the braised pork belly. It's absolutely delicious. My husband is obsessed with the elk burger and orders it every single time we visit. The only downside is the service can be very inconsistent. We've had visits with amazing servers who were attentive and provided excellent customer service. Other times, we've felt completely forgotten, no water refills, no check-ins, and long waits for basic things. If Birdsong Social could provide more consistent service, it would easily be one of our favorite restaurants. The food keeps us coming back, but your dining experience may depend on who is serving you that day. Love the ambiance, have enough space in between tables.

Absolutely Outstanding Experience at Birdsong Social!…read more I had the pleasure of visiting Birdsong Social on a beautiful spring afternoon, and it was perfect from start to finish, as always. The Steakhouse Burger is hands-down one of the best I've had -- juicy, flavorful, and cooked exactly right. The fries were cooked to perfection: crispy on the outside, fluffy inside, and absolutely addictive when dipped in their house ranch. That ranch is next-level -- tantalizingly delicious and packed with flavor! I also loved having the seasonal Mango Cart beer on tap. It was refreshing, crisp, and the perfect complement to the meal. What really made the visit special was the outstanding service. All of the staff were excellent, but Summer D and Abby went above and beyond, making me feel genuinely welcomed and taken care of while I relaxed out on the patio. Sitting outside on a perfect spring day, enjoying my meal with my favorite country music playing softly in the background... it doesn't get much better than that. Birdsong Social has it all -- great food, fantastic drinks, a wonderful atmosphere, and a team that truly cares. I'll definitely be back soon and often. Highly recommend!

My boyfriend and I sat down and was waiting on our to-do order for almost 20 minutes until we started to wonder if they forgot to send our drinks out. A waiter walked out and was walking around confused. He then hands us a milkshake that is the flavor we order as we confirm with him that we are missing the other drink. He precedes to take the milkshake away from us without any explanation and says he actually saw our order waiting in the kitchen. 15-20 minutes go by and we see the young man walking out other orders as we still wait. He walks out to ask the bartender how to make one of the milkshakes, then finally brings out both drinks but we realized after he left that he brought out the same original milkshake that he took away... now melted. We were disappointed in the time management skills and lack of apology when we waited for almost 40 minutes for two milkshakes. They occupy a great corner in the complex, which is a stellar location and allows for a good sized patio in addition to the dining room and bar area. That patio also makes bringing the pups a lot easier. As with all Neighbors, they are all about sports and with walls and walls of TV's, you cannot miss the game or event you are after! Food and drink here are solid. If you have never been to Neighbors, it is true sports bar food with wings, nachos, burgers, sandwiches, pretzel bites, etc...and a few house specialties, but mostly your standard stuff. And that is not a bad thing, while simple, they do it well and I have never been disappointed with anything I have ordered here. Service is friendly and good, but efficient is questionable as they recently introduced a flag based system where you put your number card on your stand and when your server notices it, they come your way. My only issue is this takes the natural check-in's of service away and while the idea is good in theory, execution is still a bit clunky as we had to seek out our server twice after having our card displayed for several minutes. Overall, big fan of the Neighbors brand and really enjoy this location in Frankin!
