Since I wrote my last review and has reached out and has fixed all the problems. can't say enough good things now.

I took my 2020 King Ranch Expedition in for two recall notices. I had noticed that it was changing into 8th gear at around 40 mph which it should not as it hits hard. Chris called me a few hours later and said I needed a new battery and a new transmission at $12'400.00. I said it only has 56,000 miles on it - no way. I told them to do nothing but the recall. When I picked it up Chris charged me $222.53 because they hooked it up to the computer. The recall items they fixed - fixed the transmission issue. So they knew that but still charged me for running the program. I am calling them to get my money back. My problem is if this would have been someone that was older or not know - they would have charged them $12K or sold them a new car even though the recall fixed everything. FORD corporate needs to know about this. I will never go back. read more

when I leased a Ford Maverick truck one feature I told the salesman I needed was navigation. He told me it was available on this truck. When he showed me the menu of what can be viewed on the dashboard, navigation was listed. Since I have driven Ford vehicles for years, I didn't need a how to use session. This was my mistake. I knew how to use the navigation in recent Ford and Lincoln cars. When I tried to enable navigation after I got the truck home it didn't work. Actually, when selected from the dashboard menu, a compass was displayed. No maps, no routes. Soon I learned that a Connection program needed to be enabled before navigation would work. This program enabled a few options beyond navigation. After many attempts to enable navigation, I called Gary Yeomans dealership for help. I was guided through the process and still could not get navigation working. I could sense they were losing patience and convinced I was just an 81 year old with no knowledge of technology. My next call was to Ford's corporate customer care. After several try's, still could not get navigation to work. Then the agent who was helping me, checked the VIN and informed me that the vehicle I leased did not have the correct option and would never support navigation. After bringing this information to the dealership, the sales manager in essence said " too bad " and showed me a way to use CarPlay to display Google Maps navigation on the center screen in the truck while using my cell phone to interface the map program. I am not happy. if my wife takes the truck, for example, she will need my cell phone or not have navigation. At my age, I feel i should have known better. But I also feel I have been used and cheated. I can't say more. read more

I recently visited Gary Yeomans Ford after speaking with a salesperson, Brady, about a Bronco Sport. Brady was helpful and explained that with rebates, the price could potentially come down to around $18,000. I came back the next day with $4,000 available for a down payment, but when I spoke with management, I was told the vehicle could not be sold for that price. I was also told I would need to bring $8,000 down before they could run any numbers or show financing options. No one was rude or unprofessional, but the situation felt like a classic bait‑and‑switch. I returned based on a price I was told was possible, only to find out it wasn't. BUYER BEWARE I wish I had listened to my gut after reading the initial reviews of Gary Yeomans Ford of Ocala. Our experience was nothing short of a nightmare. We drove over 2 hours to purchase a truck. From the start, there were red flags--wrong paperwork, a salesperson forging my husband's signature, and a service engine light coming on right after we left (they had cleared the code before our test drive). Promises to fix paint and body issues were made, but after 3 months of runaround, lies, and missed appointments, we were offered a buyback. The GM, Jacob Koehn, was dismissive, narcissistic, unprofessional, and never once took accountability. He gaslighted us, withheld documents, and demanded we sign things blindly. Only after insisting did we get the correct paperwork, but even then, they arrived with outdated forms and tried to blame us for the mistakes. The one bright spot was Taylor in vehicle acquisition--professional, helpful, and kind. Thanks to her, the buyback was finalized. We paid over $48K on the truck in three months and were treated like a nuisance the entire time. Please think twice before doing business here. There are far more honest dealerships out there. read more

Absolutely the Worst Service Experience Ever - Stay Far Away from Gary Yeomans Ford! A couple of months ago, I started noticing a musty, moldy smell coming from the A/C in my F-150, so I took it to Gary Yeomans Ford in Ocala. I spoke directly with the service manager, who assured me he'd "drill down to the problem." Ten days later - not a single update - I go to pick up my truck, and all they had done was spray deodorizer into the vents. The smell was still there. Their solution? "Drive it for a month and see if it gets better." It didn't -- it got worse. I called again, and they picked the truck back up on October 24th. Same story - zero communication. I had no idea what was happening. Today, when I finally called for an update, I recorded the call because it was so unbelievable: the service adviser told me "there was no smell" and then admitted they hadn't even tried starting it since it arrived. (Of course there was no smell -- the odor happens on startup!) An hour later she calls again and repeats, "No smell." I told them to just bring the truck back. When it arrived, I shut it off, turned it back on, and sure enough - the same nasty smell. I even offered to have their porter smell what a normal car should smell like by starting my Honda next to it. This is a well-known issue all over the Ford owner forums for 2022-2024 F-150s -- anyone who knows their job or can use Google could have figured that out. Instead, I got a complete runaround, no updates, and a truck that still stinks. I wouldn't take a lawn mower to this place, let alone another vehicle. The service is terrible, the staff is clueless from top to bottom, and the lack of professionalism is astonishing. I even called the Gary Yeomans location in The Villages - same story, same incompetence. Save yourself the time, the frustration, and the smell - take your vehicle literally anywhere else or just don't buy a Ford! read more

I am really enjoying this dealerships service department. I originally was assigned to an absolute *clown* that has no idea what he was talking about and had no basic concept of how my Gold warranty works and doesn't have a customer service bone in his body - but ever since switching over to Matt, our experience has been wonderful. He actually knows what he's talking about and is communicative about time frames when they are servicing our vehicle. They will also pick up and drop off your car to you, which saves me a lot of time and hassle. read more

DO NOT TRUST THIS CROOKED DEALERSHIP! Two days after receiving my CERTIFIED vehicle from Gary Yeoman Ford, the check engine light came on. I took it to my local Ford dealer and they found that the exhaust manifold and both catalytic converters were bad. Turns out, this is a common issue for my vehicle and the technician was shocked that Gary Yeoman Ford passed it in their certification inspection. It gets worse: Gary Yeoman Ford management said I am on my own for the $7,000 repair! They said the inspection only guarantees that the parts are "present" and does not guarantee that they work. Then you get up to Juan who is arrogant and pissed if you pay cash so he doesn't get a taste of the finance bonus. And BEWARE of the "Florida Protection Package" charge of almost $3000. Totally misleading. It's no "package" just a markup and pure profit. Misleading line item on the sticker and reported for false sales/deceptive practice. read more

For over 15 years and 6 automobiles and trucks purchased, I have had to go out of the Ocala/Belleview area to purchase my vehicles at reasonable prices. I was in Gary Yeomans Belleview location one day for vehicle maintenance and met Jake Koehen in sales, who inquired why I always traveled to St. Augustine to purchase vehicles and next purchase would I give him a chance. Long story short, Between my family and employees, we have purchased 12 vehicles over the past year. Jake and his staff, Eli, Harrison, Josh and Scott, have been more than accommodating and helpful with all of these purchases. I will never return to your dealership and I will tell all my friends to avoid you as well. We wanted to buy an automobile last night. And we did--but not with you. It all revolved around a document that we were told we must sign before the salesman would give us a price on the automobile, taking our car as a trade in. We refused to sign it because I'm not promising to buy a car--regardless of the wording--before I see a price. We walked out. The salesman followed us outside and asked us to reconsider. Then he said his boss had torn up our paperwork. We said we were still interested if he was willing to redo the paperwork. The salesman returned and told us his boss was no longer interested in working with us. How insulting. Very insulting. We went to another dealership and bought a car. Shame on your company and your employees. They were ridiculing us and laughing at us. We're not ignorant people, by the way. I have a Ph.D in English and my husband graduated from Yale. I'm done. So, I first gave it a five star review posted back On July 27th 2024 (the date I purchased the car) about Gary Yeomans stating "They did the IMPOSSIBLE-I had the WORST credit ever..and they were able to get me in a VERY NICE Audi.."HOWEVER ONLY a MONTH later I found out I was VERY deceived. It made PERFECT sense why my credit was so bad and they told me I was approved for a 2017 Audi. It Was and IS a lemon car. I wasn't even scheduled to make the FIRST PAYMENT yet before the engine light came on July 20th. I brought it back IMMEDIATELY to Gary Yeomans and they claimed they would fix it because I still had warranty. They delivered it to AUDI Gainesville July 26th and put me in a loaner vehicle. The only thing that was done was replacing the camshaft position sensor. They only decided to change the SENSOR to not be able to tell me the real problem anymore. I didn't get my car back until August 6th 2024. Two months later, October 18 at 9:40 AM. The engine light came on and I went to AutoZone to get the free fix finder report to see what could be wrong. AGAIN it was the camshaft position sensor. They never fixed the first time. Apparently, my warranty with Gary Yemans wore off by this time, so I had to go with the trashy "Total Warranty services" they sold me with the car. I had to find a way to take the car to Audi Gainesville myself October 21st. Mind you Total Warranty services does NOT pay for a rental until after the car is fixed and returned, may I add they ALSO only covered $40 a day. Furthermore, they don't give me the greenlight to do ANY of that until the inspector has came out and all that great stuff. SO , I was stranded without a way of transportation for four days and still ended up having to pay out-of-pocket. I only received back $150 out of $500 as I did not receive my car back to me until November 1st, but simply could not afford to pay for the rental anymore days because of the sorry warranty company. I had to pay a 250 deductible and they apparently fixed a lot of things such as a "timing chain replacement broken gaskets (REMEMBER THESE SPECIFIC PARTS !) , etc . the bill total out to $3500 and my deductible I had to pay was $250 on top of that whole rental nightmare process. LITERALLY 19 days later the engine light comes on AGAIN. I get the fixed finder report November 20th at 9:18AM ..SAME THING "camshaft position sensor" problem! This time I am LIVIDD , so I go to Gary Yeomans and tell them give me a working car NOW as I was informed that the Warranty is not paying again for this problem by Audi Gainesville. This time "Whitney land" at the Audi Gainesville told me himself on November 26th "they sold me a car in terrible shape!". Luckily I was able to leave the car at AUDI Gainesville while out of town for Thanksgiving already with my family. but when I came back on November 30th to get the car back from AUDI and take it to Gary Yeomans the car got to the point of no longer starting anymore! I had to tow it to Gary Yeomans. I sat from open to close at Gary Yeoman's waiting for something to be done about this lemon Car. ONLY to get told they "need a cosigner" because now my "credit is not good enough" because you know I did it JUST purchase this car in June with my credit and "I need a cosigner"....HOWEVER they did NOT need a cosigner to sell me a screwed up car did they ?! I had to come back there the next day with my boyfriend because I feel like these dealerships take females as a joke and they said they will fix the car themselves instead of just giving me a working car like I asked. They decided to take the car themselves to the Audi in Melbourne this time. They tried to send me off without a rental and I told him that's not happening so they put me in a "seller vehicle" and only told me to "watch the mileage" mind you they didn't tell me exactly how many miles to stay under. It is now January 16th. 47 DAYS HAVE PASSED. This entire time I was communicating with the AUDI in Melbourne. The AUDI in Melbourne seem to be like the only ones able to find the actual problem. The alternator needed to be replaced, The AC compressor needed to be replaced, The engine needed to be cleaned, and that SAMS "timing chain" was still broken (from the 2nd TIME) that it was at the Audi Gainesville. This bill TOTALED up to $11,412.59 which GARY YEOMANS would only pay half of, although I was LIED TO and told you they would fix the problem. LEAVING MY CAR STILL IN BARELY RUNNING CONDITION!. I was told by Mike Conway at the AUDI Melbourne. It actually had to be towed back to Gary Yemans because it could not drive. Gary Yemans had the nerve to tell me TODAY not only did they sell the rental. I was driving while I was literally driving it but ALSO that they're not paying the full amount, I need to give them the rental back because it has sold, AND My car that's not even in good condition or fixed all the way is still not even DELIVERED BACK to Gary Yeomans yet. This automotive group has the right business philosophy. Taylor and the team at Gary Yeoman Ford Lincoln in Ocala, FL are the absolute best people. We shopped about 10 stores on-line. Requesting information and details on specific vehicles only to be misled or have our question ignored. Taylor and the others at G. Y. Ford are different. Professional, responsive, direct, honest, knowledgeable and straightforward. We were 99% sure we were buying from them BEFORE we made the almost 2 hour trip to their location. When we did, they did not disappoint. The vehicle was right in the front of the door, freshly washed and ready for ride. We had visited 6 dealerships in person. NONE provided the treatment that we received from Taylor and her team. No mater what you are looking for take the time to at least speak with Taylor. read more

I had to remove my post yesterday due to Stevenson calling and threatening me. We were told "if you don't take that review down now and bring my loaner car back right now it will cost you a lot more money and you will pay for everything". Since my truck was there I felt it best to remove it. Now that I have my truck and it is now leaking oil, which it didn't before, I will post my original review. Absolutely the worst and most expensive experience I've ever had! We bought one used truck and not even 2 weeks later the check engine light came on, but they couldn't figure out why. Not a problem because JD said they would buy it back from us, he just failed to mention that it would be at a much lower price. They did find us another one with a lot more miles, but at this point we don't have much of a choice, we have no vehicle and lost all of our equity with trade in the deal. Now we've had the other one for less than a month. We're out $600 in tires and found out today that it has transmission issues. Another $500 to have it serviced and that "SHOULD" take care of the problem. Because the 30 day warranty doesn't cover that. Hopefully this helps someone else. read more

Took my 2013 Ford Escort for an oil change and tire rotation today. Joshua Lints helped me --- During the service, it was determined I needed my a/c cabin filter should be changed. He showed me the filter and explained that here in Florida with our high humidity they need to be checked more often and replaced as needed. I really appreciated him reviewing the results of the inspection. I have confidence in having my car serviced at Yeomans Ford because the men and women working there are knowledgeable and helpful. I'd like to give no stars, but the site wouldn't let me. I've had my cars worked on several times by this Ford dealership. The last time I went in for a brake recall. They called me that same afternoon and said my car was ready to be picked up. I went down late afternoon and picked up the car. Upon driving home I stopped for a red light and the brake pedal slowly went to floor. I was able to nurse the home and put it in my garage. I looked under the car and the bottom was soaked with brake fluid. Long story short, they came and towed the car back to their shop and repaired it for the second time and returned the car to me. I was so angry that I put the car up for sale and sold it a week later. This was the forth time I've had problems with their service department. I will never buy another Ford nor will I ever do business with this company again. They have no clue what their doing, and they have the nerve to charge around $200.00 an hour for their inferior work. Be very careful with this dealership. They put my life in danger, don't be their next victim! There sales department is just as bad. With this dealership, it's all about money. They over charge for everything. My 3 yr old work van has been at the dealer for a total of over 4 months in 16 months (13 different visits). Most recently I picked it up yesterday after having it towed to the dealer 6 weeks ago and the AC was blowing heat again....this is the 6th time it's been in for the exact same issue. Terrible experience buying a car this week. The sales team lied about the price of the car we bought. The price on the lot and hanging on the tag in the car was not the price at which they sold the car. The sales team used dishonest tactics to sell the car at a significantly higher price than listed. We have bought a car at another dealership and the price listed it what we paid. We should have been more vigilante but we did not expect this the level of dishonesty we experienced at this dealership. I would recommend shopping with another dealership. I wish we had. This dealer ripped us off and yes, we did fall for it. Please shop somewhere else and avoid supporting a dealer in our community with dishonest practices who ripped of a teacher and healthcare worker in the community. read more

I took my Ford Escape to have 2 recall items fixed and they wanted to charge me for them which is illegal. Do yourself a favor and avoid these people! I have also reported this dealership to the NHTSA and to Ford's corporate. They are not honest people. read more

Honestly I'm not one to do this. While I've always recommended my clients from my work, family and fellow vets I've met in the military that moved to Florida to buy a car/truck here. I'd have to admit that now if it was possible to give anything lower than a 1 star rating I would. I recently bought a car and traded in my truck for an amount of 4500, later on seeing the paperwork it was told to me that the truck was only traded for 4000. I was clear on 4500 and it was agreed opon. I go in to see what the mix up was and feel like I'm getting the run around. While it's nothing but a number to these people as they play with numbers to fit their agenda, they will cut corners and swindle you out your last dollar. I'd recommend a buy here pay here dealership before this place. I feel disrespected and disappointed, I hope this review helps anyone wondering if this place is good for them. read more

They did get to it quickly which was a pleasant surprise. We dealt with Matt M about our issues. They were helpful and communicated with us as to the possible solutions. UPDATE, within an hour of leaving my review on Yelp, I was contacted by Patience Jackson, BDC Manager at Gary Yeomans Ford, Ocala, FL. Patience contacted me to apologize for the treatment I received at their dealership. She went on to say, "this is not who we are or how we do business" and invited me to come back to their dealership and she would make this right. I live an hour away and being treated for cancer wanted to see what she was offering before making that journey as to not waste any more of my time. I asked her to send me an email with their offer, she confirmed my email address and said, "it would be later this afternoon ". Here we are more than 24 hours later and I have not heard back from Patience Jackson. I am not surprised! Her motivation was not to bring a resolution to an unsatisfied customer but to get me to come in, sell me a truck and remove my honest review of Gary Yeomans Ford, in Ocala, Florida. Patience Jackson did not want to put in writing my review would need to be removed. What I described in my review is exactly what this dealership is about, untruthful, and dishonest trying to make as much money possible with whatever tactics they can dream up. Profit is not a dirty word but lying about value and loading a purchase with junk fees is and possibly illegal. If they could have convinced me my trade in was worth $9,000 not $34,000, they would have taken it from me and sold it for $40,000 plus. If Pete Warner, sales manager could have sneaked $10,000 in hidden fees on the back end of my deal he would have. THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT HE TRIED TO DO. Had Pete Warner, sales manager just said, "we can't do the deal you want" gave me my keys back when I asked, I would have left, no foul no harm done. But when Pete Warner, sales manager comes back and offers me a purchase price close to what I was looking for and offers another $500 for my trade in, $34,000 instead of $33,500. Remember they originally offered me $9,000 for my trade in. Game on! I encourage you to read, Ekaterina I's review, she was charged $3000 for a "Florida Protection Package", not a package a "junk fee", pure profit for Gary Yeomans Ford, pocket. A package insinuates the consumer receives a benefit from purchasing not just a fake cost to inflate profit. Just the same as the $4,499 Florida Diesel Certification Fee, Pete Warner sales manager tried to charge me, "junk fee". Now you get a bad review on Yelp, complaint with the State of Florida Attorney General, Ocala Better Business Bureau and a complaint with Ford Corporate and this review copied to every automotive review site available to me. Folks my biggest concern here is for all the people who walked through their doors and were and will be taken advantage of, it's not if it happened, it's how many people has it and will it continue to happen too. I feel for the single mother, elderly couple and the uniformed. There is a lot of good information on the internet you just need to seek it out. There are valuation web sites that let you know how much your vehicle is worth as a trade in. Sites that tell you what you should expect to pay for a new or used car. Auto payment calculators so you know what your payment should be and expect it to be. When shopping for a car you must remove your emotion and make a financial decision, there are lots of dealers out there and cars for sale, wait for the right deal do not accept what they are offering you if it is not for you. Remember the car you purchase is yours until you can sell it, they are not assets but liabilities and you are stuck with for 60, 72 or 84 months. Remember that vehicle will not be worth much if you purchase with those long terms, 60-, 72- or 84-month payment terms. Make the best deal you can as you must live with it for an extended amount of time. If you have an issue with this dealership or any other for that matter, leave a review, it matters to them. Again Patience Jackson, BDC Manager, contacted me within an hour of posting my original review, they monitor Yelp. File a complaint with, State of Florida Attorney General's office, you can do this online at the top of their web page or call, 1-866-9no-scam. And with The Better Business Bureau either as a complaint, warning to other consumers or as a claim if harm has been done to you. Ford Corporation will also take your complaint at 1-800-392-3673, they are open M-F, 8-8 EST. The Florida Highway Safety and Motor Vehicle Division should be your first stop as they regulate auto dealerships. Many other sites will also let you leave a complaint, such as Car and Driver, DealerRater, Cars.com, Edmunds, Carfax, Google, FaceBook, Bing, Yahoo and Angie's List. Remember to be truthful and factual in your review, write it out in a word document and then cut and paste it into each site, it will save you lots of time. It is time us consumers expose bad dealers and their practices. Be a smart consumer, it is your money. read more

My sister-in-law is a single mother of 2 traded her Kia in for a SUV, 3 days after buying it, it's starts to rain and the windshield leaks, she takes back up and they say not our problem just crack your windshield and your insurance will cover it, it's not leaking, 4 weeks later the transmission goes out and thankfully she has a warranty, 9 days later she still had no loaner, but the warranty clearly says she will get one if the car breaks, she had to put a bad review for them to get her a loaner and the first thing the guy said to her was for her to take down that bad review she did. Her car is still at Ford 14 days later. My youngest son Seth Huff buys a 2021 F150 and trades in a 09 F150 paid off and put 2500 down. I was in the finance room with him, the guy said 3 Different times it's a done deal we have approvals form a couple different places, sign these paper, this is your payment you have to come back Monday and sign a couple more papers. So I ask him, is his payment going to go up Monday, he said it may even go down and laughed, Monday they call him and said his payment will be 79 more a month and he needs to come back up and sign more papers, I tell him to say no and give the truck back, he goes up and calls me on the phone and tell the guy he can't afford that high of a payment and you lied to us I said 3 different times it couldn't go up and he said no but it may go down. The guy then gets mad and says fine we will take the truck back leaves the room for 10 minutes and another guy comes in to ask what it will take to keep the deal and my son kept saying to keep the payment the same as the original agreement the guy walks over changes something in the computer and says ok done deal. My oldest son Michael Huff views a 2019 F250 Platinum online for 74,500 goes up to Ocala, drives it the truck is Gold Certified Vehicle, he trades in his truck in and puts 15,000 down, signs the paper work Saturday night closing time, the guy states we have a couple approvals so you may have to come back Monday same shit they said to my other son. He goes in on Monday they call and say he needs more down, so he puts 25,000 down, now signs different paperwork, so you would think it's a done deal but nope 3 days later they call him saying Ford financed you, but only if you buy a 5,500 service plan from us and it will lower your payment by 150.00 a month, so he does it. Then they tell him there was an additional 10,000 dollar mark up on the vehicle so now the proce has changed to 84,500. He has put 201 miles on this truck owned it for 5 weeks and now there is a shake in the front-end when you get over 65mph so he takes up to Ford of Ocala they tell him it needs the front rebuilt which that's a couple thousand dollars, this is a truck they just Gold Certified and sold 5 weeks ago so you would assume you would not be going through this 5 weeks in after putting 25,000 down on a truck. It's a shame to watch your family members work hard for their money thinking they are purchasing a good dependable vehicle to be treated this way by a dealership. Think twice and shop around considering this has happened to 3 different people that I personally know it's not a coincidence, this is how they operate so if you don't want your expectations met then go here. sales are liars. traded my car in that was worth more than the car I was buying. my salesman Bryan shook my hand said we got a deal. I was to receive 5 thousand dollars back. the finance manager told me I would have a check in 3 to five days. been over two weeks and no one will give me an answer to why I haven't received my money.
