Before I took delivery of my 2025 Ford Maverick Lariat AWD Hybrid I knew was would be installing a tonneau cover but with so many brands and types out there this was no easy task especially since everyone has their own needs and expectations. Knowing I had a specific reason for purchasing this truck which was to flat tow it behind my motor home I maybe wouldn't be using it like a lot of buyer would. Versatility was part of the decision so the T-Slot Rails offered that, but I also wanted a dry truck bed or as dry as possible, security / lockable, a retractable hard top that is easy to use, durability and of course a good look and fit and most importantly a high quality product with a good warranty. My online search was a little overwhelming to start but as I eliminated 90% plus percentage of tonneau covers that didn't meet my needs I landed on the "RealTruck" site. I started a chat with a real person verses a bot and got real answers and since I had already narrowed down my search to a specific cover I needed more time before making a final decision and making a purchase. I was offered several options to receive emails with more details of the cover listed below including a link for the installation video and also a separate email with a link to place the order once I completed my due diligence. What I purchased and installed myself. RTX-T-80337 - Retrax PRO XR Manual Retractable Tonneau Cover w/ T-Slot Rails. Reasons for purchasing from RealTruck and this 5 star review after seeing all the negative reviews on this company online. Great website that provides accurate details and pricing. Great customer service using online chat and email communications. Fast Shipping and tracking updates. Quality shipping packaging, they take extra measures to ensure you receive your order without damage. Good installation instructions and all the hardware was included, no missing parts. Online installation YouTube videos (step by step showing every step by a qualified technician) Good follow up after the sale. I am happy with the product, the ease of installation, the way the product operates, the quality and the customer service throughout the entire process... read more

Buyer Beware: Weeks of Excuses and Still No Refund My fiancé purchased brake pads from RealTruck that were listed for his vehicle. After receiving them, he discovered they were the wrong part. To be sure, he contacted the manufacturer directly and confirmed the pads were not compatible with his vehicle. He then provided that proof to RealTruck. Despite clear documentation showing the part they sold was incorrect, we have been stuck in a weeks long cycle of excuses, delays, and runaround while trying to get our $375 refunded. Every time we follow up, there seems to be another reason the refund has not been processed. At this point, it feels less like customer service and more like stalling. When a company sells the wrong part and the customer provides manufacturer confirmation, issuing a refund should be straightforward. Instead, we have spent weeks trying to resolve something that should have taken days. If this is not resolved immediately, we will be filing a dispute with our credit card company for the full amount. Extremely disappointing experience and very poor customer service read more

Bought a bug deflector from them,it didn't fit properly. Ive contacted them multiple times and have received no help in this matter. Worst customer service ever. Ive bought many things online and never had worse service over a bad product . read more

I ordered a bug deflector from "Real Truck" that was listed as quick ship. It never shipped finally received an email saying it was discontinued and my money had been refunded. This is not the first time they have not shipped something I bought. I will probably stay away in the future. They seem to offer products for sale they do not have and cannot get. read more

Spend quality money on a low quality product. Bought a BAK systems rolling cover for my Ram truck bed. It separated and is falling apart well within the warranty period. Went to dealer, they contacted vendors, and warranty was denied. read more

An item I ordered was a month and no updates on delivery. I cancelled the item and was told they had to check with the manufacturer to see if it could be cancelled. Two weeks and still same response. I had to get PayPal involved to get a refund. I have been informed it was cancelled finally but I am still waiting for a refund. read more

This company should be avoided at all costs. terrible customer service. the website and stated shipping times are false. They never pickup the phone when you call for support, takes 2-3 days to get a response via email and the chat feature on website does not work. in the end I canceled my order because it will not arrive in time. when I ordered, it was supposed to be 5-7 days. After a week and no movement, I tried multiple methods to get an answer. finally received an email stating the product was back ordered and won't come for a month. Completely unacceptable read more

I just had the worst experience with Realtruck. They sent a topper with the wrong installation parts. I called customer service and was promised they would send them the following week. I was ghosted. Called them again, same thing. Each call prompted a customer support email follow-up, yet there was no follow-up. So then I started emailing them about the missing parts. All I needed were the channel inserts for the rails on my Tundra. After literally 20+ emails, nothing was ever sent. How hard could it actually be to send eight small installation parts? I sent pictures of the parts I needed to them. They were in the instructions THEY sent to me! I eventually contacted the manufacturer and resolved the issue in 2 days. These guys are jokers. Look elsewhere. Don't waste your time with this company. It was the worst experience I've ever had buying something online. Ever. read more

2 months to receive and order they sent me half a part for; this is after I called to cancel that order and they failed to do so. Effectively they've stolen money from me by sending me a product I can't install and then making me wait two months to send me half the installation kit. I've called customer service 5 times and each time the wait times are longer, wouldn't be surprised if shipping half the installation kit was a subtle way to tell me to kick rocks after I dare complained. Don't waste your time on this company, absolutely the worst customer service and experience I've had. read more

How does this company stay in business? The absolute worst customer service. No one actually wants to work there, they all say someone else will call you back and then no one ever calls back. 1. They put items on their website that are back ordered and not available but do not indicate this when placing an order. 2. This place is a scam. Ordered product 3 weeks ago and still not shipped !! Can't talk to anybody because they keep redirecting you to an online robot ! They are nothing more than a "drop shipper" and sell items the supplier doesn't have in stock. read more

Buyer beware! The technician advised me which bed cover to purchase and I ended up getting the Gator EFX Hard Folding Tonneau Cover, It arrived in a timely fashion and I installed it within the first week, from then on it kept slipping into the bedside and I didn't know if it just needed to be tightened up more or if there were other issues, after approximately 45 days I reached out to real truck and they advised me there was nothing that they could do because it was past the 30 day return window. It's unfortunate that they don't stand behind their product enough to either replace it or find a solution to the issue because it was 15 days after their designated cutoff point. If I realized their customer service was of this caliber I certainly would not have spent over $700 for their product. read more

Customer service online is non-existent. I didn't try to call, because I read it was just as bad. I asked in the order portal when my item was going to be delivered. I ordered it June 29th. I asked July 9th when it would be shipped. No answer for 2 days. I needed the item for a beach trip. I ordered the item and it said "delivered by July 14th" I canceled the order July 11th by clicking the "cancel order" button on the order screen. Low and behind they shipped it anyways. It showed up at my house while I am the beach on July 21st. Absolutely shockingly slow shipping, zero customer service support on their website. It took 3 weeks to ship and deliver after they lied on their website on the delivered by date. I'll stick to shopping at Americantrucks.com read more

Worst customer service I have experience. Bought from them twice and both times they lied about having shipped the item. FedEx confirming they print labels and then 10 days later still have not provided product to FedEx. Upon purchase, immediate withdrawl of my funds. It's been 9 days with no update to product information. I asked for a refund as every attempt to speak with someone fell short. The answer is always "I will submit a ticket for some other dept to research, which will take 1-2 or 2-3 business days". I asked for a refund since I could not get any answers about product availability, shipment, or estimated arrival dates, " we will review this and get back to you in 2-3 business days..." I still have no information and no refund. This company is either an empty shell or extremely incompetent. read more

Whatever you do, don't buy from realtruck unless you're willing to gamble with your money. they say that they guarantee the products will fit your money back. They sent me a product that didn't fit my vehicle and was damaged easily when I tried to stretch it to put it on. I called Customer Service and spoke to a really nice lady who assured me I would get a refund and didn't need to send the product back so I went ahead and tossed it. then I received an email a few days later denying my refund with no person to contact no accountability, nothing. I responded to that email and all I got was a copy paste of a portion of the original email telling me to basically get lost. I'd never buy from this company or recommend it to anyone ever. read more

Ordered a rapid ship item on a Saturday, website said it would ship the following Monday. There was no update for days so on Thursday I called in. The lady was nice but all she told me was it should've shipped and she wasn't sure why it didn't. She placed an "inquiry ticket" and said it would take up to a week to find out what was going on. I waited the week with no response so I texted in, also no response, so I called again. The guy told me that the ticket had been closed out the same day it was put in so nobody was going to help me but that hopefully my order would ship that day or a day later. I waited another week in hopes it would ship but still no update. I have ultimately just cancelled my order. Im not mad about the wait itself, I work in shipping for another company so I understand things happen sometimes, but for me to call in and all they can tell me is "we have it in stock so I'm not sure why it hasn't shipped yet" for weeks when it was supposed to ship in days is not acceptable. Not to mention every phone call takes about an hour because they put you on hold for so long read more

I purchased a Truxedo Pro X15 for my new Frontier back in October. This is my second Pro X15. The first one I installed myself and it looked good and kept out 99% of the water. This second one has been a real disappointment. I paid $159.99 for the "professional" installation because I was feeling lazy and what I have now is a wrinkled cover that leaks like a sieve. There are multiple puddles in the bed and when I open the tailgate while it's raining there is constant dripping at both corners near the cab. And the customer/warranty support has been very slow and not helpful in resolving my issues. We're talking weeks trying to get this sorted out. In hindsight, I think this was intentional so they could get me past the 30 day return window. I would not recommend either buying from realtruck, this cover, or the "professional" installation. This was the worst experience I have had ever trying to by something. I chatted with a sales specialist and everything to fine a bed cover and ladder racks that would work with the cover for my truck.... Well wouldn't you know the roof ladder racks I got were only like 16 inches tall and of coarse they don't work with the cover that I told them I was getting. So I tried to get a hold of customer service with no luck going on four days. So then the bed cover comes and wouldn't you know half the hardware box they sent was missing. So once again I tried to get ahold of customer services with no luck. Buyers beware this is a horrible shopping experience. I personally will never shop here again. I spent 1500 and can't use any of it nor can I get someone to approve a return... I'll be disputing this with my bank read more

So I cancelled the order on their website. They still shipped product the next day. I refused shipments when they arrived. Now RealTruck is claiming they can't accept them because they were installed. I have the detailed FedEx tracking showing they were refused. I opened a dispute with my CC company. I don't recommend any business with these guys. Search their address, they just drop ship. No warehouse. Just a suite. read more

I placed an order for a Bakflip tonneau cover on June 8th. I received no estimated ship date. I did contact them to find out when it would ship and they told me on or before July 11th. That date came and went with no shipping notice. I contacted them again on the 15th and they said they could not tell me when it was going to ship. On the 16th I called to speak to a representative and he said my order was not placed until July 7th, which is incorrect. At that point I decided to cancel the order. The representative said they would let me know in a day or two if the order can be canceled. Meanwhile, they keep sending me emails asking me to review the product that never shipped.
