I took my 2020 King Ranch Expedition in for two recall notices. I had noticed that it was changing…read moreinto 8th gear at around 40 mph which it should not as it hits hard. Chris called me a few hours later and said I needed a new battery and a new transmission at $12'400.00. I said it only has 56,000 miles on it - no way. I told them to do nothing but the recall. When I picked it up Chris charged me $222.53 because they hooked it up to the computer. The recall items they fixed - fixed the transmission issue. So they knew that but still charged me for running the program. I am calling them to get my money back. My problem is if this would have been someone that was older or not know - they would have charged them $12K or sold them a new car even though the recall fixed everything. FORD corporate needs to know about this. I will never go back.

The brakes went out and a relative replaced them but the dash lights didn't go out. Toyota's solution was to replace the new brakes with new brakes for $3600. My son suggested Walt's. They double checked the brakes and bled them, no issues. Then they checked the computer system, which Toyota had done, and found the problem for ONLY $160.
