This place popped up with great reviews and some pictures that showcased delicious looking dishes…read moreand pastries so we decided to go. As a tourist, I could definitely see how the neighborhood is definitely something that might draw people from visiting, but good food is often found in unknown places. Pros: the gal who took our orders was super sweet and the cook that came out to deliver our food was also very pleasant. Overall, flavors and quality seemed to be good for the price. Cons: gal was very obviously stressed due to how she greeted us with a "I'm getting rid of most of the menu in order to simplify" and then literally told us that everything we came for was basically gone (cook/baker left). No chili, no fries, no desserts and she was out of one of the burgers. Also, the inside of this restaurant is obviously still questioning its identity because it was giving farm glam but things made no sense for its namesake (mirrors? Why so many TVs and little blackboards? Bougie paintings? House music? Farm animal home decor?) also...the women's bathroom was hella scary and had awful lighting yet the men's bathroom was well lit. Food: flavor was there, but some things just weren't - Parmesan fries just had like garlic salt on them? Both our taco meat was lukewarm and no cheese would melt. My fries supposedly had nacho cheese but came out with real cheese, which hey, better for me. Drinks were also blah - canned. It's just a preference but it's very limiting. I hope the menu isn't revamped to the point where their ratings keep declining, but to us, it was disappointing seeing such enticing photos and reviews to get lukewarm food and a very limited selection of foods.

There weren't a lot of people there but a few call in orders were placed while we dined. They had great music playing but not too loud and there's a large and smaller tv for watching the game while we eating. I got the burger which was very good and she got the fried catfish. It was delicious as well, though pieces were pretty small. We both had fries which I was more than pleased with. The tartar sauce was made in house also tasted good. The two of us ate for $24. Ain't nothin wrong with that! We'll certainly be back.

I came here expecting wonderful food due to previous reviews, but, in reality, our food came to us…read more50/50%. Please let me explain. I came in and it took a few minutes before someone cane out of their very closed-off kitchen to receive my order. The gentleman did get my order and ensured himself and me that he heard my order correctly...I appreciated that! I ordered three gyros, one without the sauce and another just meat and bread with the third gyro being a full gyro without any special instructions. I also order the kafta, and I am so glad I did! There were several people that came in after me. They all went to the counter and waited without anyone coming out to take their order. Most left as they were all enclosed behind the wooden room divider. This divider certainly did divide the staff and their customers. One could not see into the kitchen at all nor a staff member to see their customers. It was a very strange set-up. When a customer comes into a restaurant, they usually are able to see someone there, but not here. The divider goes from the floor to the ceiling. It is a shame, truly. The dining room held a few tables and chairs. Everything was very clean. No complaints there. I soon received my food and went home. All the gyro sauces are kept in tiny plastic to-go cups. Most of the tops had popped off, during my ride home, leaving most of the sauce covering the inside of the bag, making quite a mess and leaving us with very little sauce. Unloading the sack, very gingerly due to this sauce, I found our order was complete and perfectly executing per my instructions. That is a great feat in itself! I was so happy that I didn't have to call asking for a forgotten gyro or one that was not made properly. We all sat down to eat our gyros and all were going to sample the kafta. The kafta was so very good. It was still hot and juicy! The spices and the meat just made our mouths so happy. We all loved it! The gyros though, were a sad experience for all of us. The gyro kept was mostly VERY dry with some meat being actually crispy and way too dried out! The gyro bread was very dry as well. None of us were able to finish our gyros. The hungriest of us had three bites out of his. We really tried but the sauce did not even make it right as the sauce failed to cover-up that dryness! The owner is most welcome to say his piece as is evident they excercise their right with most of the reviews that are short of singing their praises. But I think that if these reviews are read by them in a way that they were open to constructive criticism, and used that energy in a positive way to figure out what they need to do to protect the meat and bread from drying out as they do the kafta, both the customers and they would help winners. I want to come back soon and try them again with much hope that they have found a way to keep the meat and bread from drying out. If so, my mouth will sing the staff and gyro their praises! I would then be a very happy and consistent customer of LoQm'e! Blessings to you all.

Food…read more- all were very good! - Dips and Spreads | bread was soft, fluffy, hot, and delish - Nashville Hot Chicken | chicken was VERY moist and the outside was crispy it had the perfect balance with the cole slaw. To me it was not spicy... I would have like more spicy heat. Overall, delicious! - Hot Rod Pizza | amazing flavor combination... crust sauce and toppings were all very yummy. Was good hot and even better the next day cold Service was great - friendly and upbeat staff. Large and lively establishment - I love how they had The Princess Bride playing on the big screen (muted). Definitely a good spot for groups. It was a little loud... so be prepared to compete with the crowd when having a conversation. Would I go back? Yes! So much more yumminess to try!

Honestly, I wasn't convinced that combo was going to work, but it did. The crust held up well and the toppings felt balanced, nothing was overpowering anything else. We also got the dips and spreads platter to share, and the warm bread with the pimento cheese went fast. Like, everyone kept going back for it without really saying anything. The server was good. Checked on us a few times without hovering, which I appreciated, especially since the restaurant was slammed that night. Food came out at a reasonable pace given how busy it was.

I had no idea when Joy and I were visiting the museum that this restaurant was even here. But, I'm glad we found it, becsuse it was amazing. The food was so fresh and well prepared. I had the Buffalo Cheeseburger with fries. Well seasoned. The fries were a little over salted, but had a winderful taste and crunch to the. I would have liked the burger to be medium to medium rare, but I wasn't asked how I wanted it cooked. Joy gad the Smoked Turkey Stuffed Acorn Squash which she said tasted really good. Not overly smoked and seasoned well. Our waitress was great. She had an easy job as we were the only ones there. But she was very informative about the ingredients and kept our glasses filled. The restaurant was very clean and quiet. Outside was an agricultural display showing plants of Native Americans. I would definitely go back and try dinner there. I also assume that the menu could change based on availability of ingredients. Might be fun to go back in the Winter and Spring to see what might change.

The service was friendly and attentive, especially our waitress JJ! I had smoked turkey in an acorn squash, so delicious! Some of our family had bison burgers and found them to be tasty and moist. My husband also had the venison chili- very rich and enjoyable. My mother in law had the strawberry salad and loved it as well as the fry bread. The garden outside is also lovely with lots of herbs and native plants. Great discovery and tasty indigenous dishes. Highly recommend!
