Had difficulty with Simonton windows and patio door installed by another. Joe was able to fit us in to their busy schedule. Alex quickly diagnosed installation and warranty problems. Quickly re did the patio door with parts from Simonton. And he diagnosed further warranty work for Simonton-- windows failing after 3 years. read more

I can't say enough good things about Garth--five stars aren't adequate, but since Yelp provides me no way to give more, five will have to do. Garth was highly recommended by Cal Coast Window and Door, so I asked him to come out to our house to diagnose a leak problem we've had with a window frame. And I could easily see why he was recommended--his service is outstanding. He's extremely professional, knowledgeable and thorough, and has extensive experience. There's no question that he really knows his stuff. Plus, Garth is very personable and a pleasure to talk with, and I must add that he was kind enough to come out on a Sunday. Since our window problem actually turned out to be a roof problem and Garth doesn't do roof repair, he's setting us up with and will convey the details to a trusted roof repair person. Others might have told us to just find a roof service, but Garth is taking the time to follow up. We are most grateful to have found Garth, and will certainly contact him in the future for any work we need that he does. read more

Really happy to have Garth Service replace my patio sliding glass door. Alex visited my house and knew exactly what needed to be done. He was prompt, professional, and got the job done quickly. You can't ask for better service than that. Highly recommend! read more

Garth Service installed replacement glass in 20 windows this week. The team of 3 young men, Alex, Steve and Greg arrived on time. They were efficient, polite, mature and respectful of my wife and me and respectful of our home. They were very careful and did not damage anything. They wore masks at all times and cleaned up as they worked. They finished the 2 day job a half day early. The owner, Garth, came by to take a look. If I need any other window work, I will for sure call Garth Service. read more

In a time of crisis, the universe put this wonderful team in my path. Another company that shall not be named broke the latch of patio door while replacing the door window. Then Melissa from Simonton Windows, recommended Garth Service!!! THANK YOU! THANK YOU. Garth, the business owner, was SO PATIENT, diligent and he ACTUALLY FOLLOWED through on his commitments. He is SUPER RESPONSIVE!! Alex, field service foreman and Davis, apprentice did an excellent job installing my patio door. They were very professional and super fast. On top of that, when they left everything clean behind them. If you one out there is looking for a great window installer, do not think it twice CALL GARTH SERVICE. read more

I called Garth Service to make some adjustments to our French doors and fix a door handle. They returned my voicemail within 24 hours and scheduled an appointment to come out. They were very thorough and explained the issues we were having and why. My doors work so much better after the adjustments they made. I highly recommend them and will absolutely call them again when an adjustment is needed. In case most of you do not know, Marvin recommends adjustments be done annually on doors due to weather, settling etc. read more

Amazing dry wall repair and paint done by Garth and his team. We recently had water damage to our walls and a call to Garth and his team took care of the problem. His team is extremely professional and punctual . It doesn't even seem like there had ever been any damage whatsoever after his team patched up the walls and did an impeccable job with the paint. I would give him more stars if site allowed. I highly recommend Garth and his team to do any construction work big or small for you. read more

We had to replace an Andersen glass door because our house was broken into and a door smashed to pieces. Garth Service was fantastic. Professional and serious people and the team that did the installation could not have been nicer and tidier. read more

Garth knocked out door and fixed fast! No more issues!! Was friendly and showed me what issue was. Thanks!

We have Andersen French Doors and really didn't use them much in 20 years, until we had a need to move some furniture. The doors would not open and try to find a Andersen Dealer who will repair any door, they will sell you one though. I was quoted $450 to have someone drive from another area and then they decided we were just too far, about half an hour away. Someone we called graciously gave us the phone number of Garth. He was well worth the time and effort it took to find him. He told us his schedule was packed and we said after 20 years a week or two really didn't matter. He squeezed us in on a Sunday afternoon and figured out the problem immediately. We can now use French doors that were not useable from the time we purchased the house. It is a delicate balance to have tall hinged doors open and join together in closing. Garth showed us the issue and the adjustment was just perfect. Better yet, as he was walking toward our front door, he noticed it was not aligned correctly. I told him every winter it stuck and by summer it was sort of okay. He saw the light around the door jam and knew it was out of line. He changed out 4 screws and placed in longer ones as the original screws were not holding the door correctly. Wow! No more jammed door and door leaks. The door opens and closes without tugging it. Thank you. Garth is a professional and showed us the adjustment was just off by a 1/4 turn. Be patient and he will get to you!! read more

We found Garth referenced in another Yelp! review as the person who satisfactorily remedied another window contractor's substandard work and failure to respond to calls to repair the problems. Boy am I glad we contacted him and did not go through with our original plan! Garth is VERY knowledgeable and professional. He explained everything in full, recommended the best products and methods for our home window replacement, and he and his team did an excellent job replacing the windows, restuccoing around them, and now painting our house. I would highly recommend Garth as your first contact if you are considering this type of work. read more

Garth is a magician as a contractor. He is meticulous, experienced, knowledgable, and easy to work with. He installed three high end patio doors for my home years ago, and they have been terrific. I just had him back to replace several more slider doors and a kitchen window. He spent time taking careful measurements and making suggestions. During this most recent installation, he came with Davis, they were efficient, careful, and spotlessly neat. They even helped me move a very heavy fridge before they left! Could not be more pleased the Garth Service!! read more

Garth is out of my area so he did not actually provide window replacement service. BUT he spent a lot of time on phone giving me advice & info about my Andersen window which has a broken outer window. He was very knowledgeable, professional and upfront and only wish his business was located in LA! read more

I would highly recommend Garth. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. When I talked to him on the phone about the issue I was having with my Anderson door he knew exactly what part I needed to fix my door and now my door is working like brand new. read more

We loved Garth! Replaced a broken Anderson door panel for us, special order that he managed for us. Trustworthy, did what he said he would do, when he said he would do it. His installers / crew were super, even adjusted our other panel and made sure everything was working to our liking before they left. We'll definitely use him again! read more

I'm impressed with these guys. They were on time and went the extra mile and fixed a couple of items that the warranty did not cover. Finally there are some good service people again. read more

My husband I were looking into replacing a few windows that would no longer stay open. Everyone else who came by to give us an estimate were only focused on actually replacing them. Garth was the first one who told us that we could actually REPAIR our windows! We were happy to learn this since we definitely did not want to spend thousands on replacing 4 windows. Garth was very communicative. He responded to my calls and texts promptly. He got the work done quickly and we were very satisfied. In addition, I asked him about little things here and there around my house that needed fixing. For example, my master bedroom door was no longer hitting the strike plate, thus it wasn't closing properly. I tried DIYing the issue, and it worked until the weather changed. Garth fixed it in a matter of minutes! He is extremely resourceful and full of knowledge. I saved his number for future projects. Thanks, Garth! read more

If I could give zero stars I would. This guy totally took advantage of my situation. First, I called him the day before to ensure that everything was a go and that he would be picking the Andersen door panels (a total of 12) up from Dolan's (where they were delivered). He sent me a text reply saying we were a "Go". Then his guys showed up the next day WITHOUT the doors. I was under the gun and Garth said it would cost me more! Then he said it would cost more per panel for the doors that went upstairs. Then it was more $ because the doors showed up unpainted. They would have to come back on Saturday. Overtime $$$ Only to find out that he told some of his crew not to work on Friday so he didn't pay them OT for Saturday (yet he charged me!!!!). On Saturday, the crew arrived and said they couldn't install one of the double doors because of some crown molding. That was going to cost me more to have them rip it out only they would not be responsible for putting it back up. Are you kidding me? I called in the Marines! (Literally). When my Marine showed up the whole story changed!!!! I was still charged the $580 and the $380 extra for overtime. The icing on the cake was when he tried to say that two of the panels were damaged and I had to work with Andersen to replace them. It's a funny thing... all of the old doors went away on his truck. The two doors that were supposedly damaged (NOT) went away in his other van (I took pictures). One of his crew told me that they were going to either outfit his ex-wife's house or to be resold. This guy is a scum bag. I wouldn't do any work or recommend him to anyone. I hope you can live with yourself Garth. read more
