This is probably the cheapest gas in town. It used to be that V-Red had the cheapest prices, but recently they've raised them, so now I find Garo to be the cheapest. We come here all the time cause it's the cheapest gas in town... But today we experienced the worst, angriest customer service! The attendant is the chubby one with the beard and glasses. He pumped gas in his personal car first, finished pumping, looked back at us (we were waiting for pump 7) and then walked away and started serving customers. So my husband walked up and asked "#7 broken?" And he didn't say anything but just get upset, and walked all huffy and puffy and angrily walked to his car, started it and drove fast and peeled out to move and park behind the pumps, opened his door, slams door and walks back to his post angry AF. My husband then moved his car up and walked up to pay for the gas. He even apologized to him and said "sorry about that, you seem upset" and they attendant just ignored him and kept on being pissy with his pissed off self. RUDE AF!! Don't block the pumps and park your car there, and if a customer comes to you, dammit, you're in customer service so be nice and cordial, very unprofessional! We didn't appreciate his attitude! If you pay at the pump, be careful. They might have skimmers. My credit card got compromised twice in 1 year. I stopped going and havent had the problem again. A friend of mine had it happen too. It's a shame. They have the best price on diesel in the area. read more

Located north of the freeway, fill up was easy. They sell both gas and diesel fuel, and diesel here is amongst the cheapest of stations in the Pasadena area. They do charge a few cents extra to use a credit card. read more

I went to get my gas yesterday morning. There was a heavy set Latina woman, in her 30's sitting at the cashier's desk. She has zero personality, as I have purchased gas from her before yesterday. The other clerks from the brothers who own the gas station, to the Armenian woman and the Caucasian young male with longer hair who clerk the establishment are ALL FANTASTIC! In fact, I ALWAYS look forward to going there for my gas, because of their sweet spirit. It is nostalgic. She is the only one who is mean and discourteous. I asked her for $25 worth of gas. She acted like she didn't hear me. I repeated it and put my fingers up indicating $25. She still didn't hear me, so I amplified my voice just enough for her to hear me. She got smart with me with a mean girl attitude and said something to the effect (I cannot remember exactly but here is the paraphrase...), "that's why I asked you." I then replied (I know, petty..), "that's why I told you. She had a smirk, and then it turned to her being irritated when she saw I wasn't putting up with her crap. After, she asked me to put in my pin number as I was using a credit card. Allegedly, it was not taking the pin, (according to her) though I saw the four dots which indicated it was input. I had to redo the pin. I finally asked her, "Dag girl, have you ever used this machine before, to which she looked like (my opinion only from her facial gesture) that she was negotiating whether or not she would respond. I think she is a racist. I am black and she is Latina. She gave me attitude the last time I bought gas, with which, she was the attendant. She poorly represents your establishment. I have been buying gas from you for 16 years. I will continue. I will come when I know her ilk isn't working that day. She needs y'all to have talk with her. read more

These people will hustle you if you're not careful. I've had friends shorted on money they've given the attendant, yet I still came back because the gas is so cheap. Well, I fueled up here yesterday and I paid at the pump. My tank only holds ten gallons, so it capped off at about $18. I grabbed my receipt and didn't think anything of it until I saw it today. I was charged $27 for over ten gallons. Not only is that not feasible as my tank was about 1/3 of the way full and only holds ten gallons, that is sketch AS FUCK. Now I know I should have done my due diligence and checked the receipt right off the bat and handled it then and there. But I was in a hurry, as most people are when they stop for gas before going out for the night. And I shouldn't have to double check for fear of being ripped off--people should just run honest businesses in the first place. Shame on you Garo Gas. I'll be reporting you to the police and the Better Business Bureau and I hope you don't have enough money to buy your way out of it, only to keep ripping people off. read more

Garo's gas has consistently had the cheapest gas prices in Pasadena. Whenever I'm in the neighborhood, I try to stop by. Credit prices are 5-8 cents more than cash but still cheap either way. The sign they have isn't the fanciest thing but I don't really go for ambiance. Just looking for the cheapest gas. Go see my boy Garo. read more

Garo gas was great when Mr.Garo ran it. When he retired and turned it over to his son, it is turning down. His son can't get out of bed and open on time. People going to work have come to depend on this station to get to work on time. The son is a constant whiner and complainer. Can't seem to open on time. Even though it's smaller than the Arco literally next door, there are less people here. And the prices are usually exactly the same. The downside, they're not open late AND you never know when they're actually open. There's been a few times I've tried getting gas here on a SUNDAY and it wasn't open. Really inconvenient. read more

Cheaper then Arco. They recently upgraded some stuff and you can now pay at the pump. Pretty sure you can fuel up after hours with a credit card. They also now have paper towels, squeegee's, and a sign with operating hours. Cheapest diesel in the area. Garo Gas is the tits. I stop here everyday for the sweet snacks and drinks. Great way to get some time away from the old ball and chain. You know what I am saying right?
