Before heading to Pasadena yesterday, my car gas gauge was at 2 bars. I said I'll just get gas…read moreafter my workout. Sure enough... my gas gauge was blinking upon leaving my workout location LOL. I had to quickly find a gas station. Well, the nearest gas station was at least 5 minutes from where I was at. It was between Chevron or Shell. Guess who won? You got it... Shell! Funny, as I was driving to Shell, I saw Chevron, but it was on the other side of the street that I was driving on so I said I'll just stick with Shell. Great corner location on Del Mar Blvd and Arroyo Parkway. Clean exterior. Prices were several cents cheaper than Chevron... yay! They also have a food mart, but I didn't go in. I prefer to pay at the pump unless I really need to go inside. If they run out of paper, I just make myself a note on gas cost and be on my way and not bother going inside to get receipt. He wanted to check it out since the one by our church had closed down and we hadn't stopped by one in a while.
