Before heading to Pasadena yesterday, my car gas gauge was at 2 bars. I said I'll just get gas…read moreafter my workout. Sure enough... my gas gauge was blinking upon leaving my workout location LOL. I had to quickly find a gas station. Well, the nearest gas station was at least 5 minutes from where I was at. It was between Chevron or Shell. Guess who won? You got it... Shell! Funny, as I was driving to Shell, I saw Chevron, but it was on the other side of the street that I was driving on so I said I'll just stick with Shell. Great corner location on Del Mar Blvd and Arroyo Parkway. Clean exterior. Prices were several cents cheaper than Chevron... yay! They also have a food mart, but I didn't go in. I prefer to pay at the pump unless I really need to go inside. If they run out of paper, I just make myself a note on gas cost and be on my way and not bother going inside to get receipt. Anyway, thanks Shell for being present when I needed you most!

He wanted to check it out since the one by our church had closed down and we hadn't stopped by one in a while. It felt a little bit eerie going in there since everything felt too in its place, quiet, and like a blast in the past because of how long we hadn't bin in a Rite Aid. I was bummed that they didn't have a wall of frozen desserts to pick their Thrifty ice cream from or maybe I missed it? Anyways, we and our way to the ice cream counter and got ourselves some ice cream with my go to always being Chocolate Malted Crunch, but was able to get a taste of my husband's Cherry Garcia ice cream. She forced me to repeat myself multiple times and essentially made me yell out the specific medication I needed in a public space, which felt like a massive violation of my privacy. Even after I went and sat down to speak directly with the original pharmacist to sort out the issue, Gaby continued trying to shout things or talk over to me across the room. The pharmacist's excellent customer service AFTER HER was completely overshadowed by Gaby's unprofessionalism and total lack of discretion. I hope management addresses her behavior.
