A new Italian spot on cortleyou has opened and we have been needing one for a while. Ordered the arancini and the fusilli pasta in the creamy tomato sauce with sausage. The arancini was enough to be a meal you get to giant rice balls. The pasta itself was tasty and the sauce was not too overwhelming. The service from the bar staff was great as I was sat at the bar

    $61

Ordered from here on Grubhub however it seems I am unable to write a review. Prices/serving size/quality does not at all match. This is $61 worth of food before the service fee and tip. The cheesecake in the picture is $11.70. The gnocchi with pesto was swimming in oil, topped with old basil, and was too salty even after draining the oil ($22) I really like supporting local restaurants in my neighborhood and am really disappointed. I hope they work on the quality!

    Spaghetti alle Vongole

This was our second time here since they opened. When we came when they first opened it was packed and service was a bit slow since they were overwhelmed. I got the rigatoni gricia which was great and my husband the chicken parm. Tonight was our second visit a few months later and it was empty. Maybe it was the time of day, Wednesday 7:30. However, the food was fantastic. I had spaghetti and clams and my husband the steak. My pasta was fresh, generous amount of clams. My husbands steak was delicious as well. It had a nice rosemary crust and the potatoes he loved. We then shared a cheesecake for dessert. The manager or owner checked on us a few times and was very nice. The outdoor garden area was very nice too. We will be back!

    Tuscan shrimp dish

Either improve the quality of the food, or lower the prices. My Tuscan shrimp dish was not worth $28, as it had very small shrimp hidden under a lot of spinach. Perhaps pasta dishes are better? Non alcoholic wine on the menu but not available. Was very warm and quiet, too quiet on a Saturday night. I hope they can make some positive changes.

Everything was great! We started with the Ricotta crostini and Caesar salad. For our mains we had shrimp scampi and tagliatelle funghi. The flavor on both were delicious! Service was great. Will Definitely be back....our new favorite local spot!

Friendly staff and tasty food. Still getting its legs but promising new addition to Cortelyou Road.

Everything on the menu looked amazing, so I had the waiter choose my dish/wine pairing and he did a great job! I got the pesto with shrimp. The pasta is handmade and the wine is natural from Italy. The pesto is made the day of in the morning. All fresh ingredients. They have indoor seating and then more seating in the back that is the perfect spot. I love the exposed brick wall. This might be my new favorite Italian spot. I will be back soon! Thank you for the amazing experience.

Instead of picking a wine from a menu, you tell your server the flavor and mood of wine you're looking for and they bring out glasses or a bottle for you based on that. The food here is delicious and I was happy to see gluten free pasta options. The pork ragu was good but I was truly impressed by how good the texture of the gluten free pasta was. For me, the show stopper was the branzino. It was seasoned perfectly and the potato crust was a fun touch. The salad was nice and simple, but didn't blow me away. Portion sizes were good, though the prices are on the higher side. The restaurant is a great place for a friends' night or date night, and I'd keep the group small or make a reservation in advanced because it gets busy. It is definitely a more expensive spot, but worth it!

I decided to bring him here as every experience has been AWESOME! Pasquale greeted me from a distance by name and was happy to see us. It's amazing that with so many customers Pasquale will remember your name and prior conversations. That's true customer commitment. The restaurant is beautifully decorated to give you that home an Italian feel. Great prices, amazing Italian food and service. Every member of their staff was great There is nothing that could have been done better. They brought out some complimentary olives, Romano cheese and bread. It was hot out and we were not the hungry so we skipped the usual appetizers. For entrees we had the rigatoni with vodka sauce and grilled shrimp. We also had the Branzino which is always cooked to perfection. For desert we had gelato. They have so many choices, will generally accommodate any food request you make, and have a great selection of wines, beer, and liquor. I highly recommend them and will continue to come back as often as I can.

Service - friendly, but the serves doesn't speak much English, was having a bit miscommunication, especially when ordering the portion was not explained much in details so when the bills come we really paid the price. Food - it was pretty good. got the pork this time $45. pretty good. but definitely over price for a pork chop.
