    Poutine with pulled pork 26.50
    Sarah M.

Quick seating, live music, and cozy heated outdoor seating with blankets available - great après-ski vibes. This review is just based on the poutine and service. We only wanted a small bite before dinner, but the experience was underwhelming. Our server wasn't particularly friendly nor attentive as she disappeared after dropping off our waters. The person who brought our poutine (probably a food runner) walked off so fast she didn't hear me ask for ketchup, so we had to flag someone down for it, then had to flag down our server later to get our check. Ambiance-wise, the place was lively, and I'd come back to try something else. But I get poutine almost everywhere I can in Whistler, and for $27, I expected more cheese curds and pulled pork. We didn't even finish the leftover fries.

Right at the base of blackcomb Live music, great service, yummy POUTINE. Warm booze!

Came for the Kokanee gold on tap, but food was great. Wife said the Poke was the best she has ever had (not sure what that says about me .

Nice spot to hang out right in the center of the resort, second floor has great views and staff were friendly and attentive.

Came here after finishing up a run down the slopes for a bathroom break, but ended up staying for drinks. My friend and I sat at the bar, thinking that it was going to be a quick drink and leave, but we ended up staying longer because the bartender Jimmy was such a fun guy to talk to! He was so helpful and attentive even as it got busier as the day went on. As more of my friends joined us at the bar, he continue to friendly and attentive to us all. Everyone at Garibaldi was so nice! Jimmy and George were our two main bartenders, but everyone definitely was hospitable. The ambience was nice. Earlier in the afternoon it wasn't too loud or too quiet, but just right. And as the day turned closer to evening and more people came in, it became even livelier with DJ playing music. It definitely gave a fun vibe for a Friday evening. For food, we order the classic poutine and the butter chicken poutine. Both were delicious! It definitely filled us up and allowed us to drink more. Overall, my experience at Garibaldi was a very positive one and I definitely would recommend people to go there during their visit to Whistler. I definitely will go back there the next time I'm in Whistler.

"Your love is liftin me higher, than I've ever been lifted before So keep it up, quench my desire and I'll be at your side forever more" (Rita Coolidge) The Garibaldi Lift Company did a nice job with our convention group's dinner. We were seated in their upper patio, so we had a great view of Whistler Village and the mountain bikers zooming down the hill. We started off with some group appetizers in the form of big platters of chicken, waffle fries, poke, and sushi. My dinner was an excellent Mixed Rice Bibimbap Bowl with shredded rib eye steak, shiitake and pacific mushrooms, carrots, napa cabbage, sautéed spinach, kimchi, peppers and a delicious green tea infused egg! The bowl was served with a side of Gochujang Korean BBQ sauce to ramp things up a bit . The dish was $26 CAD. Service was great and the staff did a wonderful job taking care of our big group. All in all, the place is gorgeous, the views are awesome, and the food and staff was top notch. What's more to like?

We came here twice while on our trip: once to drink and the other to eat after we saw the tasty menu. Both experiences were great. From the hostess to our server, we couldn't have asked for a better time. We were able to snag a spot by the outdoor fire pits both times! And we had them to ourselves which was even nicer. Round one for drinks we just wanted a nice spot to watch the snow fall. I felt really comfortable just having a cocktail here. Some places make you feel guilty for not ordering more than just one drink while you sit for hours. Today we came back and were seated again in the same fire pits both times outside. This time we ordered food and drinks! The drinks themselves are good, nothing special when it's beer and a margarita. However lunch was delicious. We shared both the flatbread pizza (nothing added to it) and the ahi poke bowl. Too bad we tried the food on our last day, I would have came back to try other items on the menu. And once again our service was spectacular and we couldn't stop talking about how friendly everyone was.

    Ahi Tostones. Delicioso!

Great Aprés Ski at Whistler. Delicious cocktails and a great Asian inspired menu. We had the Ahi Tostones - plantain chips, fresh ahi tuna, ginger, pineapple, jalapeno, purple cabbage, and a wasabi aioli. Side of guacamole and don't forget the salsa verde. Trust me on this one. Nice vibe after a long day of skiing. Service was attentive and engaging.

GLC Bacon Burger $22.75 and Bulldog $22.50
    Armita P.

My girls and I spotted this restaurant right before we went up the mountain to go zip lining and made sure to visit them for lunch later that day. The food was delicious, the environment was great, but sadly our server was kind of rude and provided us with the bare minimum service. I tried the GLC Bacon Burger $22.75 and Bulldog $22.50. The burger was served on a toasted Portuguese Bun & served with Crispy Waffle fries. It was by far one of the best Waffle Fries I've had in BC Verdict: I'll be back to try more dishes and enjoy the view and ambiance of the restaurant...hopefully we won't have the same server again

Great location in a comfortable setting of dark wood and a few fireplaces in the main dining room as well as some really cool fire pits on the balcony. The food was average bar food and was quite pricey. All the sandwiches and handhelds are heavy items as they got rid of items like the Lettuce Chicken Wraps as they were too time consuming to make. The Pulled Pork Sandwich for $24 is very steep as was the Brazilian Choripan for $23. We might consider going back but would only order a bowl of the amazing Wild Mushroom & Truffle Soup.

Definitely a place for the aesthetic and location. The food was okay, as was the service. Paying for the proximity as the prices are a bit up there. Overall fun spot to unwind after a long day on the slopes.

Honestly a great spot for a burger after a morning of skiing. Right at the base, climb up a set of stairs, voila. The GLC bacon burger ($22) was pricy but delicious and hit the spot. Served with waffle fries.

    $13 caesar
    John V.

I don't know if it's because I spent hours going up then back down the mountain on a snowboard trying to have "fun," but coming here after for a caesar is just perfect! The staff will always be awesome and the food will always be ok pub/bar food. Go for: a nice relaxing caesar after spending a million dollars trying to snowboard/ski Don't go for: the best food

When you walk in you're promptly greeted by the hosts. We came mid week and tried their spring menu which was 4 courses for 33 before tax and tip. The server was prompt and attentive with a sincere, friendly demeanour. They were out of the tomato soup so we got the chowder and some chips and salsa (not pictured). Both were so delicious. The chips were ultra thick and reminded me of eating bugles as a kid, but way higher class. The salmon and chicken were way larger portions than we had expect , and done to perfection. Chicken is a little spicy but this is the type of service and cooking I liiiiive for! If you've ever had any other Earls scratch that out of your mind because when you come here, this is literally the place to be. Sticky toffee pudding also wonderful. It was a rather cold April evening, so we asked if there were heaters. We were told that the heaters would be above our seats. We quickly accepted and were taken to our table. I ordered the 6 oz prime sirloin with truffle butter. Both steaks came out in exceptional time. The service was quite amazing. My only thing was both steaks were overcooked. I ordered medium and it looked almost well done. My friend ordered medium rare and his was almost medium, if not done as well.
