When I asked for a follow up appointment to discuss the problems I had moving my arm and my shoulder, rotator cuff pain after surgery he refused to see me and said I was "fired" from the practice. I still don't know why he "fired" me (no reason given which I think is against the law) and would not address my post op problems and help answer my questions after he preformed surgery. He has the worst attitude. He is downright nasty and that is not what a true health care prover is. What a terrible doctor, let alone human. I don't know how he sleeps at night treating people like he does and performing unsuccessful procedures and surgeries due to lack of skill while not caring at all.

I will never be normal again even having f/u hip revision as the component he put in literally fell apart. The original problem was easily identified on an X-ray - he failed to pick up on it, or did not want to admit he made a mistake, probably the latter. He strung me along for 7 months when clearly there was a problem. He never did a thorough follow up to find the problem. He became condescending and rude. I've met many people in this journey that he has done the same thing to. Do yourself a favor and find a more qualified doctor.

I've been seeing Michael Sean Hooker, MD since 2019 and ongoing. Typically, I fire physicians (did…read moreyou know that you could do that?) within a year. I give everyone a fair shot at finding their footing with me and my health issues. After a while, I get tired of talking and not seeing results so I bounce them and find someone new. With that being said, Dr. Hooker is the best thing since sliced bread as the old saying goes. He listens. He cares. He truly loves his patients and his job. No cranky days. No bad attitudes. And most of his staff (because there always has to be that ONE wherever you go) are a true pleasure. He even shoots the breeze with you while he's giving you injections so it's more tolerable. A real doll and a great physician. I wouldn't trade him or his staff for the world!

A few months after my surgery I kept complaining of pain and he told me he didn't do surgery. My arm had minimal pain before surgery that elevated to pain everyday all day. He told me that I would have to deal with it for the rest of my life because he wasn't touching me again. I constantly complained and he finally got another MRI. It showed that I somehow gotten a bicep tendon tear and he refused to repair it. I had to wait almost a year before another surgeon could fix it. Due to the prolong wait of Dr. Hooker I can't lift over 15lbs which I could before his surgery. I was out of work for four months for a surgery claimed he needed to do that he lied about. He will misdiagnose you a lot. I had over 10 for one arm. Go figure.

The only thing you have to do is listen to them! And definitely do your exercises at home. I walked around for a year with a torn rotator cuff, thinking it was going to get better. It did not. I called Eastern shore physical therapy up and in two months I was able to lift my arm up in the air again... the whole team are excellent and they have each other's backs that's what I truly adore about them! Very clean very professional if I could give 10 stars, I would!

The facility was clean and well arranged. I was treated with kind and concerned therapists who worked with me twice a week and by the end of my sessions, they had me feeling back to normal. My range of motion, grip strength and dexterity have returned all because of the PT and exercises that I had. I want to commend Kristen, Jenna, Mark, Ashley and two students doing rotation there, Olivia and Luke. I was well cared for by all of them and would definitely recommend East Shore Physical Therapy to all who need physical therapy. Jessica at the front desk needs to be recommended too. She's professional, knowledgeable and friendly....always accommodating as best the schedule allows. I pray that this survey is shared with all I mentioned and I definitely thank Eastern Shore Physical Therapy for my care. I had a very healing experience.
