I'm so glad Chiropractic cares different then all the other doctors clinics. The Dr's. Rush at Healing Hands are truly flexible with appointments. They allow for payment plans, and just truly want to get to the root of the problem. I myself always felt our nervous system is like a tree root and that means correcting the spine is the perfect way to get to our root system. Most illnesses can be understood and corrected through the spine. Just to update you, ( I entered a post before) My most resent struggle in my neck or cervical spine is becoming less problem-some and that means less visits with more time in between. My migraines have diminished to one every three or four months and I can manage them through ice and a chiropractic cushion called DENTAROLL. I am now only suffering headaches. I know this because I don't need migraine meds or shots to remedy them anymore. I do still take a bit of ibuprofen or regular everyday pain reliever for headaches. (I see that ending too. My goal is to be med free.) But then the cushion or a quick check up takes them away. I'm mentally stronger, I have less heartburn, chest pain, and I cope with everyday stress so much better now that my old neck injury is changing. I forgot to mention I've lost all my CoVid pounds and ten in which I needed to loose since 2019. So a total of 25 pounds. Of course I'm feeling more like eating healthier foods and staying on track with good eating. All this without surgery. Which is what my neurologist suggested. As most people are immediately going to a surgery plan I never did. So yes mine healed poorly, but I did not need surgery just a chiropractor. Last fall I was unable to drive, dress myself or fix my own hair. Couldn't raise my hands above my head. My arthritis had escalated to a point that I expected to be in a wheel chair within a year. A friend recommended Dr. Tracy Rush. After a thorough examination that included x-rays she told me she could help me. Although she could not eradicate my arthritis, she could make my life better. In those early days, I remember needing my husband to help me walk into the office. Eventually I was able to do that myself and then I was able to drive, and then I was able to dress myself and do my hair. I was back to "me". I looked forward to all my visits. After a back fracture, I began going to Healing Hands. Dr. Tracy is a good listener, caring, and gifted in her chiropractic care. When I began treatment, I was in a lot of pain and unable to sit up straight or stand for any length of time without cramping in my upper back. I faithfully kept my appointments, even on days I didn't feel like it. Soon my pain began to ease, however the cramping remained. I almost gave up hope when suddenly the cramping stopped! My husband and I are both active and feeling grateful for learning about Healing Hands over 15 years ago. I had been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia and was in tremendous pain for several years before starting there. Dr Tracy at Healing Hands is always my first" Go to" whenever I have anything wrong with my health. She has done for me what standard medicine does not - work first with what God created and not standard medicine practice of covering up the symptoms instead of first going after the cause. With a pain level of 9 after jamming my foot, I did not rush to an ER, I rushed to Healing Hands and after Dr Tracy adjusted not just my back but also my foot and she pulled on my toes and I left with a 1 pain level -NO MEDS! A few months ago, I went to Healing Hands on the advice of a friend. I could barely sit down or even walk without being in a tremendous amount of lower back pain. Dr. Rush diagnosed me with a herniated disc in my lower back and immediately started treating me. He uses an Activator Adjustment Instrument on me and then afterward I go on a traction table. The results are amazing. My back has never felt better! Now I just do regular monthly maintenance visits with Dr. Rush. I strongly recommended Healing Hands for any type of chiropractic needs.
