We had to utilize their services after my husband accidentally sliced his finger with a very sharp…read moreutility knife requiring stitches. The center luckily was not busy. We were greeted by an un-enthusiastic receptionist, but my husband always has a way of making people laugh, which he got her to. We filled out some paperwork and were called back fairly quickly. Waiting area was comfortable & clean. The treatment rooms were nice size and appeared orderly & clean. The technician that worked with us before the doctor came in was efficient and very personable. She helped alleviate some of the nerves. The doctor came in pretty quickly, examined my husband & confirmed he needed stitches. We were pleased with services and glad we avoided a hospital visit. The only reason I am not giving 5 stars because of the lack of discharge summary & instructions, nor an itemized bill. I asked for instructions because you can't remember everything they tell you. The "excuse" for not giving out paperwork was simply, "we haven't done that since COVID". THAT makes NO sense!!

The health care professionals are wonderful here. However,…read morethe woman who checked me in at the front desk was absolutely rude. There was one person being helped at one window when I arrived, so I stood a good distance back from the other open window, where a worker was sitting. She never bothered to look up. After the person at the other window left, the worker waved me up to the window. Still never made eye contact. I looked at her and said hello, she never looked up, and said nothing. I handed her my info. She gave it back, I said thank you. She said nothing. I went and sat down. She called me back up and asked me for some other info, which I handed her. She gave it back to me without saying a word. Then she said, " that's it." As I was leaving, I stopped by the checkout window. The person sitting there never looked up, but said, "I don't need anything from you." I said that the doctor said I needed a form. She said oh I'll get it and left the chair. She came back and handed it over still not looking at me. I told her to have a nice day and I think she mumbled something. I can't be sure.

From my own perspective, I have found that if I repeat the exercises that they prescribe when we are in a session, I get much more effective results long-term. All of the therapist are well trained, and interested in making the most impact for each and every patient who visit the site. I have worked with at least four of the therapist and each one is pleasant, caring, and quite knowledgeable on how to help each patient get the maximum value out of each session. There is no doubt that you need to repeat these exercises at home continuously in order to get the maximum benefit from the entire therapy session, I would recommend the Bebee therapy location in Millville has one of the top therapy places to go for injuries.

Ok, so I recently moved back to MD from NYC where I had been seeing a great chiropractor for a…read morewhile. I started looking for a new one down here because my symptoms had come back. I should have gone right to Optimal Health-- most people I know in the area whose opinion I trust on the matter go to Dr Jeff or Dr Sarah... but since they didn't take my insurance... I decided to find another doctor. I was sad... because I had heard great things about Optimal, but I didn't want to not use insurance and have to pay a ton of money out of pocket. :-/ So I found a doctor in the Ocean Pines/Berlin area (not Optimal Health) and went to them for about 2 weeks. 6 visits. I swear it was the most drawn out process EVER. The first visit was just talking about it. Then I got xrays and then came back, they assessed the xrays (for a whole different appointment...) told me what I already told them was the problem when I was in NYC and then for 2 more visits did nothing but putting a vibrating pad on my neck and hip and then some weird ultrasound technology. I cannot believe they charged me for 2 full visits where the doctor barely did anything to me AT ALL.... I even asked after the second visit for a manual neck or hip adjustment (which is what I was used to in NYC) and they actually said "No, that's not how I do things"...... I am 31...not 95. I don't need to get prepped for weeks for an adjustment. Finally they started using a machine to adjust which I did not find effective at all (despite their LITERALLY 30 minute lesson on how the machine worked...basically I paid them to talk about their machine for 30 minutes that session...) I was steaming! I wanted to leave but I already paid for the session. Boy did this chiropractor like hearing themselves talk.......... ANYWAY, after I left there that day, I drove to **Optimal Health Chiropractic**. I mean literally from their office to Optimal on my way home. I was seriously considering just forking over whatever it cost to actually get a legit adjustment. As I already knew, they didn't accept my insurance. When I came in to explain what was going on, Dr. Sarah and the office manager were there listening. Dr. Sarah was very helpful in helping me understand the difference at their place...and they even explained that if I came on as a cash patient it would actually be cheaper than me going through my insurance as out of network. I was surprised.... and as it turns out, paying straight cash (not dealing with insurance at all) an appointment here with Dr Jeff is only $5 more than my copay the other chiropractor (which was $35). I was shocked. Well... let's do that. I had my appointment today (all of this took place yesterday!) in the morning. I was impressed with how fast they got me in. Dr. Jeff did a full review of my written information and did some tests about my range of motion, asked me lots of questions about what hurt and when...very thorough. And then....wait for it.....WE STARTED RIGHT AWAY. Like that minute... because he was able to figure out what was wrong with me, which xrays in NYC and from the other chiropractor confirmed, without even using xrays. He literally figured it out in 10 minutes with a little pushing/pressing and examining of my neck, lower back and hips. Like a damn miracle worker. We went into another room and he immediately got to work and did some neck/hip/back adjusting. And just like that, in 30 minutes.... he did what the other chiropractor didn't do in 6 visits. SIX. SIX VISITS. What a huge waste of money going anywhere else was for me. Tomorrow I am breaking up with my old chiropractor.... Dr. Jeff is my new guy.

I had to bring my daughter in during a vacation trip nearby because she wasn't feeling well. The…read moremedical staff were fantastic: they were sweet, patient, gentle, and very thorough. They also reliably followed-up with the result of tests done. The registration by phone was also simple enough. The one part that was fine but maybe not 100% was the initial reception. For one, not long before we got there, I called ahead and was told the wait time was at least 40 minutes. I get there 20 minutes later and the waiting room is completely empty, which is a good thing but I don't know why they made it seem like they were busy. I parked right in front at a designated spot and text the number on the sign. I completed the registration by phone. But when I went inside I got a cold reception. I said we were there for my daughter's appointment and then got softly reprimanded for having checked into the wrong Atracare location. Except I followed the instructions right on the sign at the designated parking space, so if that went to another location that's Atracare's doing. It's never ideal when you're walking in with a sick kiddo and getting a cold, scoldy reception. Fortunately things picked up from there. I'm not local to any Atracare but I would go back if I needed medical care in the area. I was really happy with the medical staff, the electronic registration procedures, the wait time, and the cleanliness of the clinical area.
