On September 26th, 2025, I visited this facility located at 12385 Ocean Gateway in West Ocean City. A young man named Jonathan, answers calls and welcomes patients at the front desk. On that day he went above and beyond - before I even walked in the front door! I was injured and dreaded the long drive home to Alexandria, Virginia. Due to a huge festival, I could not extend my stay in Ocean City. Not familiar with the area I was calling various Urgent Care centers for treatment. When Jonathan picked up, he was incredible. He made several suggestions for other centers that would offer X-rays. Eventually, I called back overwhelmed after many calls. He looked up my location, my destination, and determined his office was convenient and en-route to my home! This young man was so very helpful, and professional - he showed me the best route home, on my navigation app. He even programmed it for me! I got home in far less time than my trip there. This was truly a relief as I was still having some pain. I highly recommend this place, because of Jonathan. Just be prepared to pay a hefty $260. Because of him, it was worth it. read more

do not go to there location on 1001 Philadelphia Ave., Ocean City (Urgent Care) if you have a fever they told me to take Motrin and charged me 300$ also if you have UHC medicade they barely cover your costs I didn't find out till a month later read more

Our go to place. Great, professional staff. Just went again went yesterday when our regular medical providers were unable to help.

This was our first stitches worthy injury for our 4 kids. On vacation, of course. The physician was able to fix my daughter's chin with glue. Once we saw her, the care was great. (We had to wait in an empty waiting room for an hour). read more

Contracted COVID here. Staff does not mask, nor do they require patients to mask. Unbelievable in a medical setting. Go somewhere where they've read about airborne viruses and germ theory. read more

the doctor was completely dismissive of the issue and rushed the appointment without giving any care to the patient. Paying just to be told to just go pick up some antibiotics for a serious reaction and possibly a contracted disease is seriously unprofessional. So, after calling the office and making sure that they would be open today unti 8 pm for a urine drug screen....I drove 45 minutes to the office in the snow because this was the only one I could use my perspective new job. When I arrived at 7 pm, no patients were in the office, but two people were sitting in the front office and told me that the 'girl' that does the drug screens left 2 hours ago. Without any apology for a major inconvenience and waste of time on a time sensitive issue, he states that I could just return tomorrow after 2 pm. Tomorrow I will be working and nowhere near this site. I also will not be using this office in the future. read more

This place is fantastic and the care my son received could not have been any better. He was severely dehydrated and very sick when he came in but the staff took great care of him, giving him IV hydration along with anti-nausea medication. The staff were very attentive and caring. The fact that they could do blood & urine tests onsite was also great. Definitely more convenient than having to go to an ER! Highly recommend it. read more

While on vacation my baby got sick and needed to see a doctor so we opted for Your Docs In since it was the closest urgent care center to us (I also read the good yelp reviews). Our visit was great, everyone was very friendly and most importantly, the doctor was able to figure out what was wrong with my baby ! I went the clinic and was terribly sick. I told the receptionist I needed to lay down while I waited, She was very kind, but the RUDE ... don't give a damn nurse that came out, let me know if I was going to pass out I needed to go to the emergency room. Then another nurse came out to call me in. As I am walking towards her she screamed STOP!!!!! They needed me to sign a paper. Wouldn't go back there or refer them to my worst enemy. read more

While on vacation I needed to see a doctor about a tattoo that wasn't healing. Got in at opening and was seen quickly. Dr. Wheeler was very thorough and explained her thinking, diagnosis and course of treatment. She made it clear that my choice to get tattooed invited risks. She discussed how to use the meds and side effects as well as interactions. A good experience. read more

Was able to make an appointment on line for Friday evening on Memorial Day Weekend was seen on time which is very unusual for most doctor offices. The staff and doctor were very friendly diagnosed and treated my condition feeling much better a day later. Overall I give this office very high marks for service. read more

The wait time is ridiculous. Almost 2 hrs to see a Dr about a UTI on a Fri morning in the summer. Only 2 people in ahead of me. Dr socializes too long with patients. read more

I was on vacation and developed an ear infection. All the other offices closed at 6pm. We arrived with no one in the parking lot. I was in quickly and seen without any problems. She irrigated my ear and gave me a prescription. I was released and on my way to my pharmacy in short order. read more

The wait time was unbelievable. If you come in with a urgent need, you should be told when signing in that there are many appointments before you. There appeared to be 2 people before us, however, the reality is that with the number of appointments coming in, it was just shy of 3 hours to be seen. It is fine that they do appointments but it is only fair to let people know. Once seen, the nurses were great - the doc was spacey but adequate. read more

Two hours in the waiting room. When I asked about the wait, they said they were a little backed up. Then I waited another two hours fifteen minutes in exam room to see the doctor. When she came in, it was obvious she hadn't reviewed my info when she told me she was going to prescribe meds I was already taking. I'll never go back there again and told them so. read more

I would rate this place zero stars if I could. I came here back in February which was the longest wait time I've ever had with an empty lobby and asked to be tested for COVID-19 and the doctor laughed at me and prescribed me sinus medication, even though I had EVERY SYMPTOM. A month later I was still not better and went to West OC wellness and injury center who diagnosed me with pneumonia. So they not only made my sickness worse, but laughed at me. Needless to say this morning I once again am sick and got sent to the doctor from work and West OC injury and illness doesn't open until nine. So I waited at your Doc's in since they open at eight. I sat in the parking lot until 810 before they even came and open the doors when they say they open at eight. I walked in and the lady was beyond rude and asked me why I was here. Obviously I am here because I am not feeling well and why do you have to be so rude after you just open late and your doctor misdiagnosed me the first time? When somebody is sick, you should not treat them like they mean anything. I have much respect for nurses/doctors ANY essential worker in this time (this includes myself) and to be treated so rudely I gave this place a second shot but the third will never happen. No wonder they have no good reviews on yelp but West Oc Injury and Illness center has nothing but good reviews. Being a local this is embarrassing for our town. I feel sorry for anybody who chooses to go to this doctors office. read more

Amazing!! Daughter needed medical attention while we were on vacation, and this place was wonderful. The staff went above and beyond for us. While our insurance company was giving inconsistent information they provided us with a phone charger, and an ice pop for our little girl. We had no wait! The doctor was thorough and provided us with detailed information regarding our daughter's infection. I would highly recommend this group of helpful and knowledgeable professionals. read more

Just left the West Ocean City location. An absolutely horrible experience with the doctor on duty (female, I forget her name) Anyhow I went to get a prescription for pain for my back, I've had 4 Back surgeries already with more in my future. I have been treated for several years in the NOVA area. Had a pretty major flare up on Saturday and need some relief before returning to my regular pain management doctor next Tuesday. After giving my records to the wonderful nurse on duty I waited patiently for the doctor. The doctor came in and announced right away that she wasn't going to give me pain medication as "The Federal Government" (her words) prohibits her from giving them. Obviously, that is patently untrue, the feds have no authority to stop a licensed physician from prescribing a medication that is legally available on the market. The doctor was very ignorant bordering on nasty! I would suggest she goes back to college to learn how to talk to other human beings, she clearly did not care about my situation, wouldn't even look over my medical records which I had downloaded. Don't go here!! If you are really worried about yourself and your health don't go here. I am staying in Ocean city for the summer and was having horrible abdominal and shoulder pain and decided to go here for some guidance before heading to a hospital. I came in with an appointment set. I waited in my room for 50 minutes while the doctors and assistants sat outside in the hall talking. I finally was seen and the doctor told me it sounded like a gallbladder issue. I got an x-ray and was then told I had pneumonia. I was beyond confused. The doctor never listened to me breathe and I didn't even have a cough or breathing issues. It felt like they were just rushing me out and didn't want to continue to help me. I decided my pain was too strange and strong so I went home all the way to home to a hospital where my Mom could come with. I found out I did had gallbladder and endometriosis issues that were so bad that I needed surgery to get both my infected gallbladder and endometriosis in my stomach removed. Overall.. obviously this is not acceptable. Who tells someone they have pneumonia without any explanation or reasoning when in reality they needed surgery. I am so so glad I ignored what a DR. SAID, and went to another doctor. If you do go, make sure you get a second opinion before it's too late. They are not a reliable opinion. I do understand that they are not a hospital and that if I am in emergency that I should go. But I am very young and confused. I needed guidance and professional help and did not receive it. This place was terrible. I have never been to a more unprofessional medical facility than this one is. The front desk person was just plain rude. After sitting for an hour and 15 minutes I asked for a refund of my copayment and left. If your sick, this is not the place to go. read more
