Today falls on a Thursday and my appt is next Tuesday. I've left a voicemail once again asking if I need bloodwork. Being that the results of the bloodwork take time and my appt is next Tuesday, it's likely I'll have to cancel my appt on Monday and battle their office for a "24 hour notice cancellation fee." If there's no bloodwork results, there can't be an an exam. I've been happy with Dr. Bahtarian,but I no longer want to interface with this office.

I have had occasion to get PT at Aquacare a few times. Most recently, I fell during rigorous exercise and had dislocated the sacrum. I had not slept for several nights due to the sciatica in my leg. Mary Dougherty evaluated my skeletal alignment and made recommendations that resulted in my pain being reduced when I left after the first treatment. She made recommendations for home treatment and exercises including stretches to be done prior, during and after exercise. It took a total of 3 sessions at Aquacare to provide relief and enable me to sleep through the night once again. This area is loaded with PT locations. I had tried a couple before discovering Mary at Aquacare. Her staff has always been courteous, welcoming and professional. With the results I have experienced at Aquacare, I would recommend Mary to anyone in need of a knowledgeable, experienced physical therapist. With the results I have gotten, I would not consider going anywhere else. read more

After a total knee replacement I set up my rehabilitation appointments with AquaCare. They really are the best! My doctor and I were thrilled with the great results. The entire staff is friendly, professional and the most knowledgeable group of therapists and exercise specialists I have been to. They were willing to answer my questions and explain things to me. When it came to my home exercises they were very helpful with clear explanations. I hear so many people say they stopped their PT because it wasn't helpful, or they were left alone to do their own exercises....that was NEVER the case with AquaCare, I had support the entire time. I will only recommend friends and family to AquaCare in Lewes. read more

For me, there has been more than one visit to Aquacare Rehab. Whenever the need for physical therapy arises, this is the only facility I will use. The environment is immaculate, the equipment is very adequate and, most importantly, the staff is supreme. Brad, Pam, Mary and the rest of the staff are kind, considerate, empathetic,caring and sociable. I had my final review today, with Brad, and was given exercises and stretches to do at home to ensure the flexibility in my knees continues. I went to Aquacare after a complete ankle replacement surgery performed at the hospital for special surgery in NYC. Bradley and the entire staff handled my unique condition with the professional approach coordinated to do the very best to make me better. Over the next 8 weeks collectively I was given the very best treatment I could possibly expect. Went for shoulder pain. Mary my PT was thorough and professional and really knowledgeable about diagnoses and therapy work. The office is clean and run well with everyone courteous and a nice staff. Didn't use the pool but it looked well maintained as did the showers and changing areas. Plenty of informational materials offered to help you with your recovery and home exercise program. Aquacare therapy is the best the area has to offer. While other clinics I have been to in the past put me through a bunch of exercises and don't pay attention, Aquacare offers the most 1 on 1 care and is truly concerned about my improvement.
