Roy was incredibly nice on the phone and arranged to send two men on Monday morning. He and Josh arrived in Gonzales right on time, loaded up my stuff, drove an hour and a half to San Antonio, then moved me into my new apartment in under four hours. They also unloaded my parents' pick-up truck full of furniture and boxes. It was an absolute miracle. They were nice, efficient, and unbelievably strong. One of the pieces they moved was a 200+ pound dresser/vanity, and they made it look easy! I HIGHLY recommend Wrangler Moving! Day 2 they took 13 hours to move half of a house with two small trailers. They also had no tools and had to use ours (simple drills, screwdriver etc). Keep in mind we paid to have them disassemble and assemble in the one day move. They ruined a brand new mattress with grease hand stains, and did not put our front door back on hinges properly. And to boot...they quoted $4,700 for the move and then hit us with a $5,300 bill, saying their guys worked 30 mins over the quote. The main issue being that they took longer because we had to unpack and find our tools to allow them to use. ***edit to respond to Victoria*** This response is a perfect example of the miscommunication and lack of professionalism. Nobody ever requested to leave a tv up. The day of packing, my husband was playing Xbox and said "whenever yall need to pack this let me know and I'll shut this down". This is also when we discovered that they did not have any tools to remove the TV, so, the TV wasn't going to be removed either way that day. Nobody was ever asked to "make beds" but we paid to have them put together (assembled). The movers also were not met with hostility. You had a group of young men with neck tattoos talking and bragging about their time in prison in front of everyone (including our children). My husband did the responsible thing, which was to address the staff as a whole. I'll mention he also tipped each one $100 bill at the end. We did this because it was apparent that the fault was on managment and not the individuals. They came both days unprepared without proper tools. Two separate groups of movers on two different days being paid to pack, dis-assemble and re-assemble furniture. (How is that possible?) Nobody was ever "cussed out" in person or on the phone. My husband called the very next morning and left a voicemail for the owner that was never returned. This response and lack of accountability again proves why I would never recommend this company.

On moving day, I emailed additional instructions because I would be unavailable by phone. I provided my partner's contact information and specifically requested that all garage items be packed and moved. Daniel Rios confirmed that everything was received and that the movers would contact my partner before leaving the house. Around 11 a.m., my move-out cleaning crew informed me that a substantial amount of property was still in the house. My partner had not received the load-up call, and I had not received any updates from Evolution. After I contacted the company, I was told only a few open boxes had been left behind. When my partner arrived at the new apartment later that afternoon, the garage contents were missing and fewer items had been delivered than expected. The crew stated they had not been instructed to move anything else. When I contacted Evolution again, I was told there had been a misunderstanding. I was then offered a separate two-person crew to complete the move, but only as a new move with additional charges. When I arrived at the apartment that evening, I discovered that the dining room, kitchen boxes, and entire garage had never been moved. My friends and I ended up completing the move ourselves. It took three days and six truckloads. Afterward, I found that beds had been placed in the wrong rooms and not assembled, furniture had been left partially disassembled, room-labeled boxes had been piled in the kitchen, furniture had been scratched, and the hardware for my son's bed was missing. Justin Rodriguez later located the missing screws in the back of the truck, though some were badly bent. I emailed Daniel seeking a response and he replied with a completely ai-generated email blaming me for the misunderstanding. To Justin's credit, he came to my apartment on his day off to help move furniture into the correct rooms and assemble it. Throughout this entire process, he was the only person who consistently communicated with me and attempted to help resolve the situation. What ultimately disappointed me most was the lack of accountability. I repeatedly had to initiate communication myself, and after the move I called the owner every day for a week and left a voicemail seeking a resolution. My calls were never returned. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Evolution Moving.

I have yet to see any responses to those complaints as well. At the end of the day it was a complete waste of my time to rearrange my schedule to make sure that this appointment happened so I could have move forward with another project.

I looked at a number of solutions but LOVED that Closetbox would come to my current home with movers, load up my furniture and take it to the storage unit. Then, when my new home is finished they will deliver the furniture to my new home. I didn't have to load any trucks, which was amazing. On moving day all went exactly as Closetbox said it would and the movers were included in the cost of the rental. The movers were confused and didn't understand the Closetbox model. Don't listen to them. What Closetbox told me in advance is exactly what happened. I would recommend.

All three were extremely kind and patient--we had to open several boxes to see what was inside since our previous movers did not label them properly.
