1 Star -- An Extremely Disappointing and Traumatic Moving Experience…read more It has taken me a couple of months to process this experience and honestly get past how traumatic it was, which is why I am only now writing this review. This was my second time using Evolution Movers, and I deeply regret trusting them with my belongings a second time. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this company to anyone. From the beginning, the movers made me feel uneasy and uncomfortable. There were rude, condescending comments made about my belongings, and my wishes regarding how my home and property were handled were repeatedly disregarded. They insisted on going through areas of my home despite my objections and showed a complete lack of care when it came to doorways, floors, and my personal property. I even purchased drinks for the crew, only to have one of the movers tell me, with an attitude, that he didn't like grape Powerade. My belongings were made fun of, and I could hear complaints about having to move certain items, including my plants. As a customer who had hired and paid for a professional moving service, I found this behavior incredibly disrespectful. Unfortunately, the problems weren't limited to their attitude. Multiple items were damaged or broken during transit. Their truck also tore up my driveway while backing in, once again demonstrating what felt like a complete disregard for my property. Perhaps one of the most unprofessional things I witnessed was the movers working out on our gym equipment while they were on the clock. I did purchase insurance through the company to protect against damage. However, getting the damage addressed was not a simple process. It ultimately required me to have a contractor come out, assess the damage, and provide a written estimate before the company would cover the full amount of the insurance I had purchased. I did make management aware of what happened. The explanation I received was that they were understaffed and hot, as though those circumstances explained or excused the way I and my belongings were treated. Being understaffed or working in the heat does not justify disrespecting a customer's home, belongings, property, or boundaries. As a veteran and healthcare professional, I have always believed in treating people and their property with respect, professionalism, and dignity. I expect the same when I hire a company to come into my home and handle everything I have worked hard for. This experience was far beyond simply having a few things damaged during a move. It was the overall lack of professionalism, respect, care, and consideration that made this experience so upsetting. I gave Evolution Movers a second opportunity based on my previous experience with the company. I sincerely regret that decision. I cannot recommend Evolution Movers based on my experience. If you are considering hiring them, I strongly encourage you to ask very specific questions about how they handle property, damage, employee conduct, and customer complaints before trusting them with your home and belongings.

This is primarily review for excellent customer service as I wasn't able to end up using them for…read moreour move. They did a fantastic job of coming out on short notice to go over all of our property here that needed to be moved and they gave us a very competitive quote the same day in fact multiple quotes as I needed different things broken up for comparison. In the end, we already had our truck booked and we were stuck using their moving service, but I wish I could've gone with these guys as the whole team was just fantastic as far as being professional, responsive and organized. I also know that the folks that lived in our home before actually had used their services and were quite happy with them.

Do not recommend this company. Their staff was very slow and came unprepared. They didn't have all…read morethe packing supplies or proper tools to remove Tv mounts on day 1 as promised. Day 2 they took 13 hours to move half of a house with two small trailers. They also had no tools and had to use ours (simple drills, screwdriver etc). Keep in mind we paid to have them disassemble and assemble in the one day move. They ruined a brand new mattress with grease hand stains, and did not put our front door back on hinges properly. And to boot...they quoted $4,700 for the move and then hit us with a $5,300 bill, saying their guys worked 30 mins over the quote. The main issue being that they took longer because we had to unpack and find our tools to allow them to use. ***edit to respond to Victoria*** This response is a perfect example of the miscommunication and lack of professionalism. Nobody ever requested to leave a tv up. The day of packing, my husband was playing Xbox and said "whenever yall need to pack this let me know and I'll shut this down". This is also when we discovered that they did not have any tools to remove the TV, so, the TV wasn't going to be removed either way that day. Nobody was ever asked to "make beds" but we paid to have them put together (assembled). The movers also were not met with hostility. You had a group of young men with neck tattoos talking and bragging about their time in prison in front of everyone (including our children). My husband did the responsible thing, which was to address the staff as a whole. I'll mention he also tipped each one $100 bill at the end. We did this because it was apparent that the fault was on managment and not the individuals. They came both days unprepared without proper tools. Two separate groups of movers on two different days being paid to pack, dis-assemble and re-assemble furniture. (How is that possible?) Nobody was ever "cussed out" in person or on the phone. My husband called the very next morning and left a voicemail for the owner that was never returned. This response and lack of accountability again proves why I would never recommend this company.

I hired Evolution Moving for a whole-house move on May 21…read more Before the move, I explained the contents of the house during the estimate process so they could estimate the scope. On moving day, I emailed additional instructions because I would be unavailable by phone. I provided my partner's contact information and specifically requested that all garage items be packed and moved. Daniel Rios confirmed that everything was received and that the movers would contact my partner before leaving the house. Around 11 a.m., my move-out cleaning crew informed me that a substantial amount of property was still in the house. My partner had not received the load-up call, and I had not received any updates from Evolution. After I contacted the company, I was told only a few open boxes had been left behind. When my partner arrived at the new apartment later that afternoon, the garage contents were missing and fewer items had been delivered than expected. The crew stated they had not been instructed to move anything else. When I contacted Evolution again, I was told there had been a misunderstanding. I was then offered a separate two-person crew to complete the move, but only as a new move with additional charges. When I arrived at the apartment that evening, I discovered that the dining room, kitchen boxes, and entire garage had never been moved. My friends and I ended up completing the move ourselves. It took three days and six truckloads. Afterward, I found that beds had been placed in the wrong rooms and not assembled, furniture had been left partially disassembled, room-labeled boxes had been piled in the kitchen, furniture had been scratched, and the hardware for my son's bed was missing. Justin Rodriguez later located the missing screws in the back of the truck, though some were badly bent. I emailed Daniel seeking a response and he replied with a completely ai-generated email blaming me for the misunderstanding. To Justin's credit, he came to my apartment on his day off to help move furniture into the correct rooms and assemble it. Throughout this entire process, he was the only person who consistently communicated with me and attempted to help resolve the situation. What ultimately disappointed me most was the lack of accountability. I repeatedly had to initiate communication myself, and after the move I called the owner every day for a week and left a voicemail seeking a resolution. My calls were never returned. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Evolution Moving.

I looked at a number of solutions but LOVED that Closetbox would come to my current home with movers, load up my furniture and take it to the storage unit. Then, when my new home is finished they will deliver the furniture to my new home. I didn't have to load any trucks, which was amazing. On moving day all went exactly as Closetbox said it would and the movers were included in the cost of the rental. The movers were confused and didn't understand the Closetbox model. Don't listen to them. What Closetbox told me in advance is exactly what happened. I would recommend.

Most moving companies I contacted overcharged and weren't available until the next week. Luckily, The Haynes Bros were available on short notice! Raymond quoted and charged $115/hour (2 hours min). They were able to move everything out and into my new apartment with time to spare. Unfortunately, they WILL charge for the 2 hours regardless. Service was wonderful, however, timing was not... Raymond told me he would come at 10:00 AM, but showed up almost 2 hours late :( I consider myself a very patient and understanding person. But, with all that time spent, it made me only wonder, if this was a *I'd like to speak to your manager* type of person, trust me, they'd be complaining and demanding a refund/discount until no tomorrow. When the guys arrived, I instructed them what needed to be moved, and which items did not. Unfortunately, since 2 hours had already passed, I had another appointment scheduled. I gave Raymond my old apartment keys to lock up, and told him to meet me at the new place when they were finished. Raymond and LaPaul are very down to earth and easy to communicate with. I gave them a good tip, for their efficiency and care. I'm not the best packer, and was worried that some of my more delicate items would be broken. I was prepared for the repercussions. However, as I unpacked each box, not a glass shard in sight. I couldn't have done this move without them!
