We've used GG for years for WDW delivery. The food isn't cheap, but it's to be expected. This year they forgot two bags. We went to reach out, but they've gotten rid of their 1-800 number! Customer service is online only. It's frustrating to want to start your vacation wondering if your concern is being addressed. The bags did arrive later that day with no other follow up from GG. Staying at Disneyworld resort. We used them on our last visit about 4 years ago. Tried again this time and they charged us $200 dollars and never delivered the food. We have tried calling, emailing, and using the online contact form every day for a week and they won't respond. First off, this used to be a great company. I have no idea what happened. They do not refund orders in a timely manner, if at all. Over 30 days and still no refund. It is shameful to hold someone's money for over 30 days. At 39 days I disputed it with my credit card now and they have tried reaching them twice, and had no response either. I am very sad that a once great company has fallen so far and I would really like my $240 dollars back for goods that were never delivered!!! read more

I wish zero stars was an option. I really do. Placed my order 2 months in advance. It arrived fine but they shorted us 6 Red Bulls and a bag of chips. Also the bag of sliced apples they deliver was expired. I have called their "customer service 3 times and left messages. Now 3 days later I still have not heard a peep from them. Do you want to know what is insane, Those 6 rebuild and bag of chips cost me about $23.00!!!! That is insane! Can you imagine paying $23.00 for 6 Red Bulls and a bag of chips? That gives you a sense of how high priced they are. If you charge that insane of a mark up you should be able to get all the items delivered and if not you should be able to answer the phone or return a phone call in 3 days or less! My only assumption is they know they are dealing with tourist and therefore they don't care about reputation or repeat business. Very disappointed with Garden Grocer. We have used them often in the past and were very satisfied but our my last experience was unforgiving. On October 20, 2023 my wife was diagnosed with a detached retina and her retinologist scheduled an immediate surgery the next day. We were scheduled to fly to Disney World the next day. I needed to cancel all our arrangements including Disney World, United Airlines, Mears Connect and Garden Grocer. All were very sympathetic. Garden Grocer sent me an email stating that they would be issuing me a refund In a few days. It is now January 3, 2024 and I have received no refund. I sent several emails asking the status of the refund, but the only answer I get are Crickets. It looks like they will not be keeping to their word and provide a refund due to an unplanned emergency situation. Updating my review to say that the company finally refunded part of my order on my credit card; but only after they likely saw my reviews on social platforms as I was never directly contacted neither by phone or e-mail to inform me that they would provide a refund. I appreciate that they did the right thing, albeit three and a half months after the fact. We placed an order for our October Disney World trip. They said it would be delivered between 12pm - 4pm. I received a phone call from them at 9pm on the day they were supposed to deliver our order, telling me they were busy and running late. At 10pm, after having been up since 3am on our travel day, I went on social media and sent them a message, asking how to cancel my order, as we were unwilling to stay up all night waiting on them. I had tried to call, but there was no answer by a human. I didn't receive any message back (which I didn't expect to at that time of night). The next morning I went to baggage services at our hotel to see if it had been delivered. It had not. I messaged them again, asking what was going on. Later, I received a response telling me they had canceled my order. This put us in a big bind, as we were counting on having food and beverages available to us during our stay. We had to pay the higher prices for food (we had no car) by purchasing from the hotel store. Absolutely terrible service.; We will not be using them again. read more

Ordered groceries through Garden Grocer for a stay at Disney's Fort Wilderness cabins. Hard to judge value here, as the convenience of having groceries delivered in advance is pretty good, so I'm unsurprised if the groceries weren't cheap. I will say this. We had two cabins - one ordered through GG, no problem (though GG had to deliver three days in advance of our arrival, because they're busy??) The other cabin ordered from Amazon Fresh. SWEET BABY BACKFLIPPING JESUS NEVER AGAIN WILL I ORDER GROCERIES FROM AMAZON FRESH. Train wreck. Like, as if every train ever built in history were dropped and collided from space, that level of train wreck. AWESOME DELIVERY SERVICE to Disneyworld!! You don't realize how awesome this really is until you get to your hotel and everything is already there! Groceries, bottled water, soda, wine, and beer delivered to your Disney hotel room! It's so easy to use and was incredibly convenient. I shopped online before I left home (you must shop at least 2 days prior to delivery) and scheduled the delivery on the day before I even checked in to the hotel. They called to confirm my order the morning after i placed it. Upon delivery (while I was still at home), they texted and called to confirm that my groceries were delivered to the bell desk at my hotel. What did I order? Fruit, bottled water, juice boxes, liquid hand SOAP (cuz bar soap is yuck!), mini cereal boxes, snacks, soda, and other adult beverages. The produce arrived in perfectly chilled condition! The other items were perfect! This is like having a personal shopper! I wish I had one back home too! $40 min, $14 delivery fee. It sounds steep but you could easily spend that much on bottled water at WDW parks. We didn't rent a car so this was perfect. Thanks Kristen for sharing this business with me! We ordered Garden Grocer following some tips on a WDW/Universal blog site. If you order ahead of time you get a discount. We didn't have our acts together in agreeing on the grocery list to get it in early, so we paid full price. The delivery was just as they said it was - within a certain time period, delivered to our bell services (check if yours has a fridge, some budget hotels don't have bell services like Universal's Cabana Bay) They called us to let us know it had arrived, we called bell services and BAM it was in our room! We ordered bottled water, soda, selzer, yogurt, and a few snacks. We weren't sure whether our room would have a fridge or not so I didn't order much more. The prices weren't that cheap, actually the same or more than the prices are at Whole Foods in New England (which is pricier than the South) Then I found out the food was from Publix- they must make a KILLING when you include the $14 fee plus tip. My only complaint was that the apples I ordered were gross, I think the wax and pesticides they use made them taste bad. I didn't have an apple peeler, otherwise that would have helped I think. Other than that everything was great. Based on the prices of the drinks, snacks, and sunblock at Universal I would definitely order from them again if I didn't have a rental car and the ability to go to a grocery store. I have loved this service in the past, however on July 5th, 2019 my opinion changed. Our order was suppose to arrive between 4 and 9pm. At 10pm it still hadn't arrived. I emailed the company to find out where it was and was told "Your order will be delivered tonight. It was delayed due to Vendor issues in some of the products not being delivered in time when your order was to go out." Which would have been a great thing to send me prior to me having to contact them. At our resort there were 4 people looking for their items. All of us were getting different reasons for the delay. The customer service was horrible. I got no response back on my vacation to my emails, asking for my gratuity to be returned. Today July 17th, I called them, now that I am back home. They finally agreed to return my gratuity, but were very curt with me. They would not let me speak to a supervisor. I was not impressed with the customer service at all. I felt like I was a number they did not need. I will not be using them again and I will not reccommend them again. read more

During my trip to Disney this year, I decided to try out this service. The groceries arrived at the hotel bell services desk the day prior to my arrival and I received messages indicating how to go about getting the items. The items did cost a bit more than what I am use to paying in Colorado, but I don't know if it is that way in all the grocery stores in Florida. The only issue I had was that the order was missing one item, but they delivered it the next day and bell services took it right to the room and placed it in the fridge. I would definitely recommend Garden Grocer to anyone going to Disney or Universal, as it saves money on paying $50 per meal to eat in the parks. read more

Thought we'd order some groceries while staying for WDW so we could eat breakfast in our room and have snacks . We ordered two days ahead and had delivery planned for our first day out . When we came back and were notified our delivery was here . Well everything but my perishables . So now we have cereal without milk , bagels without cream cheese and nothing for sandwiches . You would think for as much as they charge they would make sure your order is right . They did call after to make it right . They said our order would be on the next available delivery . My group was staying at "The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness" in April of 2021 and we used this service to have food delivered to our cabin. We had quite a bit missing from our order and Garden Grocer claimed that we would be refunded for what we didn't receive. Today's date is August 6th 2021 and we still never heard from Garden Grocer and we've been fighting the charges through AMEX. AMEX finally decided to give us a $50 credit, but I'm pretty sure they just did that out of loyalty to us, meaning Garden Grocer got paid in full. Luckily for us they had two general stores on property at Fort Wilderness and we were able to pickup what we were missing from our order. I definitely don't recommend Garden Grocer for use at Walt Disney World. I had much better service from Amazon and I know they don't have everything a food market would have, but at least it was something. I definitely will be planning out my next trip better without the lackluster services of Garden Grocer. read more

Ordered Garden Grocer to have a delivery waiting at our resort at Disney. Hurricane Irma was just a thought when we ordered but we made sure we order a case of water that they still had in stock along with some snack, food, wine, and sodas. We called a few hours we got on our flight to check on our order as they hurricane got closer. They told us the water will not be on or order as it sold out. They must of took the water from our order to put into another order and did not inform us. We were glad we called so we had to pack water in our suitcases. Everything was delivered but we will knock off two stars for the lack of communication and we would of been locked in our room through the hurricane with no water. I have used this service twice. The first time, it was perfect, and I was really happy. This past time I pre-ordered groceries for a trip to Disney World and two items were not included. It wasn't a big deal, but I since then have tried emailing, calling and even spoke to a customer service representative at Garden Grocer. All I wanted was a refund for the items that were not delivered. I was told my account would be credited when I was finally able to speak to someone in November 2021. It is now January 2022 and I have not been credited, nor has there been any response to emails, or voicemails that I have left. Terrible customer service. read more

Shades of Green guest don't need to use this service! The on-site NEX store carries most of the items you would purchase for your stay---much cheaper too! You don't have to pay delivery or taxes either. The NEX carries microwavable items for all 3 meals, chips, crackers, milk, juices, cereal, etc. They also sell beer, wine, and alcohol! I'm not sure if the NEX has fresh fruit in the store, but the sports bar has a nice fruit plate that feeds 2-3 very reasonable $ too. If I could do it again...I would not use this retailer--only because it was VERY expensive. Hope this helps! read more

Great online service - 1st time I've done this-totally worth it as we had no rental car on this trip. If you order ahead of time say 20 days and 10 days, you can get a discount like 5-10% depending on timing so that can offset the $14 delivery fee but it goes down if you order $200 worth of groceries. Yes the prices are expensive because of the convenience but we got a case of bottled water, snacks, fast breakfast items, etc. It was great that you could choose like 2 yellow bananas than 5 green one's. Or different flavors of yogurt. Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwiches were there, toaster steudel, etc. Alcohol was offered like wine (limited-expensive) and beer. Sundry stuff & otc stuff too. We stayed in Kidani Village and they don't delivery directly into your room but bell service did for us. Garden Grocery delivered and our stuff was held in the bell lobbies refrigeration than brought up to us when we arrived. They were great to call me to confirm that I'd made the order. I got texts that our order came in. It just couldn't get any easier than this. The service was like the Disney Experience- great service. I'd use them again! read more

We had a room at Bonnet Creek with a kitchen but had no car. I found Garden Grocer online and decided to give their delivery service a try. All of our groceries were in our room on time and as ordered and they were fresh! They had tons of organic options and BEER! Yes they deliver beer. I believe we got a 6-pack for the same price we paid for 2 beers at our resort's bar. They also deliver bottled water and IB-Profin :) They have awesome customer service and the prices were inline with what we pay at home. When we make it back to Orlando I would absolutely use them again. Even if you do not have a kitchen I recommend using them for bottled water and snacks. It's always nice to have your own stuff on-hand. Don't forget the coffee! Who wants to drink that cheap crap they put in your room? Not me. Enjoy! read more

We ordered food for our Disney trip. I understand things get missed and I alerted the company the first night via voicemail. No response. Emailed the next morning, response received that missed items were to be delivered. Email later advising they were delivered. No delivery to hotel. Emailed again later that night. Was advised they would deliver again and apologized that hotel couldn't find them. Day 3 new email missing items delivered. Checked with hotel, no items. Around 430 in the afternoon another email advising delivery. Go to hotel, EUREKA! We have delivery. Too bad it was the bowls and silverware we needed for breakfast the last two mornings and we leave in 2 days. I will never use this service again. read more

My niece and I stayed at the royal pacific resort for 3 nites and we ordered from garden grocers...mainly breakfast items (fruit, yogurt, bread) and water. The ordering process is a breeze and they deliver in the time frame promised. What I am super impressed about is the person selecting our fruits. We ordered banana, red seedless grapes, watermelon and avacado. We got all these produce at the peak of perfection especially the avacado were ready to eat immediately. Very happy with their service and they help us to still eat healthy while travelling. read more

Our party of 5 spent a week in December at WDW. We had reservations for dinners each night but wanted the option to have a lazy breakfast in the suite. In the past, we'd cobble something together by buying fresh fruit, bagels, cream cheese, milk for our coffee, at the little grocery/sundry store wherever we'd be staying (Saratoga Springs, Kidani, Yacht/Beach Club, etc.). Buying breakfast that way would just be too expensive, and choices are limited. I learned about Garden Grocer on allears.net (I think), so I went to the Garden Grocer site to check it out as an option. It was perfect -- we were able to purchase all kinds of breakfast foods, snacks, a case of water, fresh fruit and veggies for smoothies -- in the quantities and brands we wanted, and at reasonable prices. Delivery to Kidani (where we were staying) was on time, and all items arrived in excellent condition. The website was easy to use, setting up an account was a breeze, and customer service via email, texting, and phone was commendable. I think this is the way we'll go every time - even if it is just my husband and I. So easy and stress-free. read more

When we received the items, we were shorted a Lunchable and the ice cream was melted. Unfortunately, after having used Garden Grocer for years and years, I must rate them so poorly and plan on using another newer and more responsive grocery delivery service to WDW (check around...rated very highly by younger, new-to-Disney families) this company has gone downhill in recent years. Crushed produce; overbagging/packing of items; missing items; mishandling of cancellation, crediting of account for missing items; and slow response to questions...these things have caused me to turn elsewhere. I am still waiting, after three weeks, for missing items in my order to be credited, despite assurances and seemingly friendly promises that it would be taken care of. Truly, it gives me no pleasure to write this, for I like so much the fact that Garden Grocer had rather blazed the trail of grocery delivery to resorts. However, I fear that the company has either changed management, downsized number of employees, or grown complacent. No matter...there are other options, and I know that GG will not miss me either! read more

The groceries are extremely expensive, then there is an additional $14 delivery fee. The minimum order was $50 so our bill was about $70 for the cost of groceries I could get locally for $18 to $22. It's just way to much money for what you get. We received a confirmation of delivery but when we arrived at the hotel, all of the paid for food was NOT in the bags. I called and was assured the forgotten item would be delivered. An hour later, I get a voicemail the item sold to me was discontinued, not available and to please call about an item substitution. We arrived back at the hotel and the item had been delivered. So, I have no clue what that was all about. Our bananas were way over ripe. It's cheaper to utilize Amazon prime and pay the resort a $5 fee to accept an Amazon deliver. read more

ABSOLUTELY THRILLED with GardenGrocer.com! We (5 families traveling together) placed an order of almost $500 to be delivered to our WDW hotel. It was delivered exactly when promised and, when there were 2 items missing (NOT a big deal for us and NOT going to sway my opinion), a brief phone call got the items delivered within hours! Even that was sooner than expected! I would HIGHLY recommend this service to anyone traveling to FL! Like anyone else, we couldn't imagine eating hotel and park food for a week - but also the convenience of having snack foods in our room, beer at our disposal after the kids went to bed, and the ease of the entire process! I didn't find the website difficult to navigate at all and checkout is quick and easy. PLEASE use this service whenever you travel to the Orlando area!! read more

We are DVC (Disney Vacation Club) members and have always been looking for ways to save money on groceries when we went to FL. After relying on local family members to deliver for us and planning our vacation around their schedules, my husband finally saw a Garden Grocer truck parked outside during one of our stays. We looked into it and decided to give it a try. The good: I cannot say enough about the convenience of having your groceries delivered to Bell Services (who have a fridge/freezer and can keep your stuff cold until you have it brought to your room) rather than trying to arrange other ways to get the food. We got enough basics and snacks to help us save money on days we didn't have ADR's (Advanced Dining Reservations) and in-park snacks. The selection was phenomenal - we have 2 little ones and one of them has a peanut/treenut allergy. We were able to get food that I knew was safe (INCLUDING SUNBUTTER!!!) as well as diapers (regular and swimmers), pull-ups, wipes, etc. Everything that their workers selected for delivery was fresh and good quality. Prices seemed in-line with local FL prices and WAY less than on-property. We received great communication across the board from start to finish (phone, text, and email confirmations of order and delivery). Cancellations of items were prompt and we didn't receive any additional items that we had previously cancelled (and all items ordered were delivered). If you order in advance, there are graduated discounts available depending on how far in advance you order, plus if you get over $200 then your delivery fee drops to $2 from $14. The "bad": After adjusting and finalizing our plans for the trip, we realized we needed to cancel a few of the items we ordered. The process of actually cancelling the order was fine (I actually just did it over the CSR chat available during business hours) and the order was just as it should have been once it was delivered (no extra items and nothing missing). The downside came when we needed the refund for the cancelled items. We didn't receive the refund at the time of cancellation, and once the trip was over and we reconciled everything else we realized we STILL (a month or so later) had not received the refunds. It took several phone calls and emails to get the refunds back on our card for the cancelled items. I want to note here that we DID receive the refund, but it was a fair amount of hassle to do so. Through the process, however, the CSR's were nice, patient, and apologetic and eventually escalated the issue to the GM for resolution. To this end, there's not any way to see on your account the history of any cancellations that you may have; you can see your original order and what has been cancelled, but not what any refund should be or when it was cancelled, etc. That's just a minor thing that was annoying when I was trying to resolve the refund issue, but I had an email trail and notes so it wasn't a huge matter. Overall: We would absolutely use Garden Grocer again when we head to Florida for any grocery needs we may have. We appreciated the variety and convenience that the service provided as well as the added bonus of being able to save money on food in the parks/on the resort. For us, however, after the hassle of getting refunds for cancelled items we would forego the additional savings of ordering way ahead of time and instead place our order closer to the trip once plans were finalized but before the ordering deadline (website states what that deadline is). It was not worth what we ended up saving in the end for the aggravation of cancelling items and chasing refunds. read more

Called GG and they said my bank must have denied it. Went through this a couple more times including being on the phone with my bank when I tried to purchase and got error. GG customer service still insisted it was a bank error. Immediately placed a prime now order with same card with no problem and on time great delivery.
