I was hoping for something savory. We got avocado toast. My husband got his with an egg; I had mine plain. He had an iced caramel latte, and I had a plain cappuccino because that's the best way for me to judge the espresso, besides ordering a straight shot. Food was okay. Did not blow me out of the water. It was decent enough to eat, but a tiny, tiny portion for the price. Somewhere around ten to eleven dollars per toast. One slice of bread, a little avocado, a couple of tomatoes, and balsamic vinegar. Was it tasty? Yes. Was it worth ten dollars? I don't think so. I bought a full sourdough loaf for ten dollars. I understand service costs and all that, but still. Coffee was actually very good, though. My cappuccino had fruity notes, very smooth. They have different roasts, which is nice. The cups and plates are really cute, and the space itself is charming. The lady working seemed very overwhelmed. The place was full, decently loud, line kept getting longer the whole time we were there. My husband didn't love his coffee, and he's usually not picky at all, so that says something. Overall, I wouldn't go out of my way to come back. But if I needed a place to sit and do some work and didn't need to be on the phone, I'd probably consider it. I just think there are better places out there. Honest opinion. P.S. My ratings are based on whether I believe I could make a better or healthier version at home. If food/drinks/service impress me, I'll be happy to come back. If not, the stars reflect that.

The coffee was good and baristas were friendly. I could've stayed here working all day. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in Dallas. I got an oat milk vanilla latte (not feeling adventurous) but when I go back, I'll try one of their other limited time drinks.

I've walked by and never even noticed this place, but I encourage you to enter. The store offers players pieces to paint and play in house, other related material to review, and a historical review of Warhammer. War game setups to play, which, by the way, are artistically set up so awesomely! I would have taken more pictures and videos, but it was busy, and the majority of the game stations were taken up by players. I, on the other hand, enjoyed that they had a cafe as well. I believe their coffee machine is down or something. So I opted for their "Blood for the Blood God" tea it's not too sweet and pretty refreshing for a hot, humid day. We waited to eat our cinnamon roll at home. After heating it up a bit, I enjoyed the sweet treat. It was a tad bit dry, but it was eaten. If you're a fan or just walking by, stop and check it out. You may be surprised by a hobby you never knew could pique your interest!

They then got to play with their new figurines on the very elaborate game tables (which I have seen very packed on weekends but which were mostly open on a Wednesday afternoon). I have no idea how the game works but the detailed figurines and buildings are very cool to look at and my kids loved exploring the tables. The cafe looks like a standard local coffee shop with a nice mix of coffees and pastries. Definitely a fun place to stop into and check out.

I found out they have a local baker that delivers their pastries to them which I loved. The atmosphere at Buon Giorgio is warm and cozy. My food came out quickly which I appreciated. The quiche was flavorful and flaky, and the short bread was rich and delicious. The chai latte was creamy and delicious like I remember. I look forward to my next visit. Also be advised they have temporarily shortened their hours (Monday-Friday is 7am- 3pm.)

When I asked why, I was told for remodeling and because they are short staffed. Neither made sense. I believe I saw 3 or 4 employees and while there could have been remodeling behind the scenes, we watched them close up and saw the employees all leave. We had to go find another coffee shop, but it made me wonder, if I was the owner of this coffee shop I would want to verify they were not closing early just to go play. ***revized review*** Business reached out to explain they are making improvements and scheduling those is tricky. It would be great to update on Yelp, which is how we decided on this coffee shop (based on closing time). Coffee and offerings we had were very good. Atmosphere prior to the unexpected close was a good vibe.

Each fruit pastry has a beautiful chocolate shell. You crack that open and there is a light and sweet mousse/whipped filling around a breaded and/or layered sweet jelly center. It is so dang good! You must experience it! The service is SUPER friendly. Primarily female workers and I think it's a female owned business? You can tell because the attention to detail is superb. We walked in, made our choices, and were back out in just a few minutes. The selection isn't huge, but that's exactly the point. Instead of seeing 20 different croissants, you see 20 completely different creations. Each dessert has its own personality. This isn't the kind of place where you rush through everything in one sitting. Every bite has different textures, layers, fillings, and fresh fruit that make you slow down and appreciate the craftsmanship. The attention to detail is incredible. One dessert looked just like an apple--even the core was different from the outer "apple," and the tiny stem was made from dark chocolate. It's those little details that make the experience memorable. We walked out in under three minutes and spent just under $70. Was it expensive? Sure. But it felt worth it. You leave with an appreciation for the artistry, incredible flavors, and an aftertaste that makes you glad you treated yourself.
