My mom ordered the chocolate croissant and said it was the best she's had at any coffee shop I've taken her to. We had it warmed, and it was incredibly rich and indulgent. The coffee was fine--nothing memorable--but the matcha was to die for. They had about six people working in a very small space, and despite that, service held up well considering how busy it was. The crowd skewed younger, with lots of people posted up working for long stretches. Definitely a long-haul seating kind of place. The vibe was great: louder music, energetic atmosphere, and it somehow all worked. There's also a stuffy (quiet) room available for rent if you need it. Matcha rating: 8/10. Second best matcha I've had in Dallas so far--better than La La Land, but still not topping Tried & True Stellar, which remains my #1. This place has real character--very local, very lived-in.
