Bowling section around 5:30 PM on a Tuesday

I took my small work team to bowl here after work. What was nice is that it was fairly empty on a weekday in the early evening. That being said, the service was pretty slow for food and drinks. The prices are truly astronomical for a non-peak time with a few small up-charges snuck in for food. I'm on the fence if it's worth coming again. The pool tables are better priced.

Bowling alley arcade lounge in Seattle. String bowling experience was a bit different from what we're used to. If you are going bowling for a social activity it's ok but if you are a serious bowler this is not the spot. The balls have seen better days. The food was okay and the drink was tasty. Street parking only.

yes yes YES!!! such a fun night activity. we started out with two games of bowling and you can order food and drinks from your lane. we ordered a mimosa and blue drink i can't remember the name of. After bowling we booked a pool table for an hour session which was also super fun. The staff were also so nice and helpful. Really fun environment. Definitely recommend. p.s. there's also an arcade and ping pong tables we didn't get the chance to try

How do u go from "bubble butt" to country music, within 5 minutes.

my favorite place for billiards just due to how many tables they have, such a sight to beholden they are the larger competition size tables, not your average small house/bar size so if you're serious about pool, this place works. pricing is of course expensive, I think HH runs about 14$/hr and regular hours at 19$(?). you can order food or drinks from your table so it's convenient. i'd suggest a bar with quarter slots for a casual hang but this is spacious for bigger parties

I definitely had a lot of fun here with my friends ! The place had an old-school feel, I felt I was back in the 80's! Table layout was pretty nice with plenty of room not to bump onto other people playing snooker! I do recommend this place to play pool, have a beer, and hangout! I think you'll have fun too!

Prior to visiting here ( per a local's recommendation ) around ~9:45pm on a Wednesday night, my girlfriend and I had walked in to inquire if they reserved lanes ahead of time as we explained our understanding that happy hour bowling would be starting around the time we finished drinking at the neighboring bar. The young lady at the front desk repeated our question back to us in a condescending way as if we were foolish to ask such a question, ultimately concluding the conversation by saying "I'm not sure what it is you're asking. If you want to come bowl after you're done next door it's first come first serve." After finishing our drinks and having ourselves a round of bowling, the same young lady rung up up to pay and, as if a light switch, became the most bubbly person within a 5 mile radius, proceeding to ask us how our visit has been to Seattle and laughing at our declarative statements back. A rather unpleasant experience this was.

Decent bowling place. It would not disappoint. Not the best. Ambience: 3.5/5 (Very old) Equipment : 3.5/5 (Very old) Location: 4/5 (Close to Seattle downtown) Food was surprisingly good. The hummus dips were great. Must try. Chicken pizza was very tasty. Veg rolls were nice. Chicken on the stick was not well cooked.

Came here for a work bonding party on a Monday afternoon. This place is 21+ only and the first thing they do when you arrive is check your ID. They're also strict about no outside food and drinks. For 15 of us, 2 hours of bowling across 3 lanes, 2 drink tickets that included beer and wine, and an unlimited fajita bar, the cost was $1100. Our time started at 3 PM but we arrived a bit late. But we were able to quickly get our bowling shoes, and set up our games at our lanes and get to bowling! The workers disseminated our drink tickets and also set up the fajita bar. So the positives. The people serving us were incredibly nice and attentive. The fajita bar was smaller, but they had plenty of food for us (and we may have all pre eaten at salt and straw down the street). But the chicken was actually really well cooked and flavorful, so I was overall pleasantly surprised by the option! They also got peoples drinks very quickly. Soda was included for people who weren't into beer or wine. Because there were hard seltzers on the beer and wine menu, I asked it it was included but was told no. The worker did come back and offered to put syrup in carbonated water for me but I politely passed. The less great part comes from the bowling. In one of the lanes, the ball got stuck in the gutter in the middle of the lane 3 times. So someone had to be called or we had to wait for the ball to come back to us slowly. In another of the lanes, towards the 9th or 10th frame of each game, the pins just failed to reset and we had to wait as we watched someone manually reset the pins. This was mildly concerning just because we could only see the persons hands (they were behind the lane?) but there was no warning this was happening on our end, so it could have been mildly dangerous for them had we not been paying attention. And lastly, though we paid for two hours, they shut off our bowling around 4:50. Which, even with our correct booking time, is shorter than what we paid for. And especially with the steep price and the other issues with the lanes, seems questionable. Overall, if you're really into bowling, there are surely better places around for that. If you're coming to relax and spend time with people, then maybe it's worth it, especially if you take advantage of the pool tables or the games off to the side, which some people in my group did later in the evening.

One of the managers, Anne, kindly took time to reach out to me and remedy the previous visit. I appreciate the effort in making things right.

I see there are no bowling lanes open to reserve. Are some lanes open for drop in?

When I was there, you could walk in and sign up for a lane. They were all first come, first serve.

Is this only for 21 and over all the time or certain hours?

Correct. It's a full bar. Must be 21 or older to bowl or play pool as well.

Staff is efficient and keeps the bar clean picking up any left behind glasses quickly. The bar is quirky and fun. Private and comfy booths, and lots of clowns everywhere. Sad clowns, happy clowns, creepy clowns, and more clowns than you can count! The bathrooms are unisex with plenty of stickers to look at. Always hand soap and toilet paper available even when busy. Hard working staff! Some areas of the bar like near the bathrooms have flashy lights and makes it feel like you're at the circus. The vibe is laid back and care free. There is a good assortment of light gun, classic fighters and of course DDR which they were real generous with - 6 credits on a swipe which is like 9 song/sets! There is a bar but it's kind of basic compared to the afformentioned Dave & Busters, which makes that part of their identity. Also the person selling me the game card was fast on talk, and slow on the explanation of how things work which could've been better. It was nearing close so I wasn't going go through the whole rundown. Fun time here if you're looking for something to do in the area, but a Barcade or Dave & Busters will do the job all the same.

Plus with the completion of the new Summit building, the event was split between the two convention buildings instead of across multiple hotels in Downtown Seattle. Dividing the Expo Hall between Arch and Summit did cause participants inconvenience though. The Summit hosted the majority of the activities like console and tabletop freeplay, panels, and tournaments. The Annex also held a couple of sections. When not wandering around the Expo Halls, I spent the rest of the time in tabletop trying out board games. All in all, PAX is still a good opportunity for folks of shared interests to mingle, demo newly and to-be released games, and partake in trading or purchasing merchandise.
