It failed elsewhere 6+ months ago. In the last 1 year and 3 days I have spent more than $5777 at the dealer because of DEF (diesel exhaust fluid) quality errors and fixes... Why the dealership? Because of the 2 year warranty. The DEF smog equipment is a sore subject that is NOT related to this business. At Premium Auto Repair Center, once I explained what I was going through and showing over 1/4" of invoices, they gladly took the time to check the OBD and share the results with me each time I stopped in/by. A shout out to the owner and all employees for your assistance and today it passed the smog check. As a side note, to avoid high emission output the ECU/ECM limits the truck to 55 mph and then limits the truck to 4 mph (so it can be loaded on a flatbed tow truck)... This state is a joke!

I took a break from going to Jerry at Campbell Automotive because I got a maintenance deal with the…read moredealership.   They totally understand that this happens, and he warned me to beware.  He was right!  I thought the dealership would have my best interest in mind, but was I mistaken!   Once the maintenance deal was expired I returned to the place I TRUST 100%, that's Campbell Automotive.   I went in for a simple oil change and an (I don't know how many points) inspection.  My 4-year old battery had been leaking acid and my engine was sweating oil.   It was apparent that this has been happening for sometime.  While Jerry could have fixed this, he suggested I take the pictures he took for me to the dealership and ask them why I was never told about this.  He told me that they could possibly fix it under warranty.   It worked!  The dealership fixed everything under warranty and Jerry saved me money!!   Jerry's place is not the cheapest (or the most expensive), but I would bet they are the most honest people out there.  I don't know much about cars so I appreciate there knowledge, experience, and honesty!
