Unfortunately, Susan had just had surgery and was unavailable, so I got stuck with someone named Theresa instead. Only later did I realize I was being SCAMMED. Do NOT fall for this scam!! This has been a nightmare for me. I work from home (remotely) so informed them that I would be working when the individual arrived and couldn't talk much to her due to that reason. Theresa arrived about 45 min earlier than when she was supposed to--which really inconvenienced me and was very unprofessional I felt as I was busy getting ready for the day at that time. But later I realized this was part of their scam. They keep adding more and more hours to your bill (at $72 per hour--which really adds up in the end) and Theresa moved at literally a snails pace, so ultimately they can keep billing you!! This woman was SOOOO slow!! She literally took 10 hours (I was working the whole time and honestly thought she had left long ago. I was shocked and horrified to find out she was still in my apartment!! I calculated and that would cost me $720.00!! On top of that, she only organized my bedroom closet and the kitchen--which I had not asked her to organize as I had already organized the kitchen. I had instructed her to do the master bath and laundry room which she didn't do AT ALL--but said she'd be back the following day to my horror!! This woman should enter a different line of work as she does not follow instructions and basically is a scam artist. She stayed 10 entire hours and barely accomplished anything!! I moved to Houston from Manhattan and have hired professional organizers there. This is not my first rodeo. However true professional organizers never need more than 2 hours (max 3 hrs)--and that's to organize your ENTIRE HOME!! I have no idea what Theresa was doing that entire time as I was busy working myself, but the job she did definitely DID NOT REFLECT TEN HOURS OF WORK!! When I complained to the owner Susan about these issues (and said not to send Theresa back the next day), she seemed to understand and said she would offer me a discount. Well the discount was miniscule and she has been harassing me constantly since that time to pay over $620.00 for this pathetic service!! I am horrified by the shadiness of this company and its owner Susan who appears to be very much on board with this corruption. I have had much BETTER organizers than this woman (in Manhattan), and they were WAY more efficient. I am shocked an horrified by this bill and this scam. I am warning everyone--DON'T FALL FOR THIS SCAM!! These people are out to get your money--PERIOD!! And if you hire them, you will ultimately be billed THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS in the end (unless you fire them first as I did) as this is their business model. And you won't be happy with the work as you will be paying through your nose for it--and they in no way deserve the amount they charge you Trust me, you will be clueless just as I was because they present themselves as fair and professional--until your are shocked at the end by their MASSIVE bill . Unless you're willing to pay this company the equivalent of probably an entire month's mortgage payment (or more) after only getting very AVERAGE results (and their organizing rooms you didn't ask for while ignoring those you did), do NOT HIRE these people. And now I have this woman pretty much STALKING me to pay this ridiculous bill. I will obviously pay the bill as this is my own fault for hiring this company and not doing my due diligence in advance. Stupid me--I should have insisted on a their giving me a quote in advance--which actually I did on Yelp--but Susan never given me one. Now I see why. No one would ever hire this company if they were honest about how much they intend to charge you. I know I definitely would never have hired them had I known in advance about this scam. I am a physician, so I'm not sure if this was done to me because they assumed I they could get away with billing me an exorbitant amount, but that dog won't hunt. I know fraud when I see it. And this is fraud, plain and simple. I intend to report Sunflower Strategies Organizing to the BBB and the Attorney General of TX (whom I happen to know personally). This company's fraudulent business practices and their disgusting attempts to take advantage of people by bilking them for huge amounts of money in exchange for subpar services--MUST be exposed. AND IT WILL BE!!

Jairo was easy to get in touch with and arrived early for the repairs. He showed a lot of care in his work and he made sure I was satisfied with the repair before packing up for the day. Both carpet repaired areas look brand new now and match my other carpet areas again. I had put off getting this fix for years because I was worried about price but these fixes definitely had higher than expected value. I no longer have to step over carpet bulges and my door shuts better. I would definitely use JGS Carpet Installation's services again for repairs and if I need new carpet installed I'm calling them for the install.

The owner came to my home, took measurements, created a 3D rendering, and once we finalized the design, I paid my deposit. Unfortunately, what should have been a straightforward laundry room cabinet installation turned into **more than five return visits, countless phone calls and text messages, and constant follow-up on my part just to get the job completed correctly.** On the first installation, the cabinets arrived in different sizes and depths, even though they were all supposed to match. After that was corrected, the second installation left me with three different shades of white between the cabinets, trim, and crown molding. Later visits uncovered additional issues, including unstable interior shelves that tipped over, an uneven countertop, and multiple cabinet doors that were crooked or improperly aligned. What frustrated me most was that these weren't issues the company identified--they were issues I had to point out. At every visit, the installers seemed ready to leave with the project considered complete until I showed them additional problems. I repeatedly called, texted, and sent photos over the course of weeks just to get someone from management to come inspect the work in person. Instead of taking my concerns seriously, I was told I was "high strung" and that smaller projects sometimes have issues. By the end of this project, I had completely lost confidence that anyone from Tru Custom would identify or correct problems unless I found them first and pushed for them to be addressed. I essentially became the project manager and quality control inspector for work I hired professionals to complete. To date, this project has required more than five visits to my home, and I am still waiting for two cabinet doors to be corrected. Despite the repeated installation mistakes and the inconvenience, Tru Custom Cabinets never offered a discount, refund, credit, or any meaningful gesture of goodwill. One of the installers even commented that they had "never had so many problems on one project." Unfortunately, I was the customer who had to experience every one of those problems. I understand that mistakes can happen on any project. What matters is how a company responds. Based on my experience, Tru Custom Cabinets failed to provide the level of workmanship, communication, and accountability I expected, and I cannot recommend them.

Of the quotes I got back, H Town Steam was the most competitive. I didn't end up booking at the time, but circled back a few days ago and asked them to confirm the pricing from before. They responded right away and I got it scheduled. We had to adjust the timing a couple of times, but they were responsive and accommodating throughout. Shai showed up and did a great job on the cleaning. There was a small discrepancy between the price I was quoted and what he had on hand, so I flagged it and showed him my conversation with their sales rep. He called management on the spot and got it corrected immediately. Great first experience overall -- I'll definitely use them again.

I had my garage floor and patio epoxy coated and cabinets w/ work bench installed. From the first contact with Ben @ Garage Experts of North Houston the experience was to say the least very professional. Appointments were on time and if there was an issue there was communication, Ben just doesn't leave you hanging. Products were reviewed and process explained in detail. The floor crew showed up on time every day kept the work area clean, and even made the extra effort to do the floor in a garage closet that was not quoted at no charge. The cabinets and work bench were exactly what was ordered and installed on schedule. I was most impressed with Ben's honesty and integrity, during the installation of a small additional cabinet there was some damage done during the installation, it would have been easy to cover up, but Ben brought it to my attention and I told him it was so minimal I could live with it. Well three weeks later I received a call telling me my new cabinet had arrived and a time was set for the replacement of the damaged cabinet. Garage Experts of North Houston was the only company I contacted that was a one stop shop, other companies did the flooring only and other companies only did the cabinets. We contracted Garage Experts to bring life to our two car garage in March of 2021. Ben was our project manager. We thought we knew exactly what we wanted as far as sizes and layout but after 3 revisions we not only improved our setup for garage cabinets but saved costs. Ben spent a considerable amount of time working with my wife and I on the design of the garage, providing us various options to maximize the space and recommendations on the setup. The project lasted about 2 days (we did the garage floor option as well of course). They ensured every detail was covered. When an issue came up, Ben was there to resolve it quickly with pictures (CAD) and pricing. The result was a beautiful and better functioning garage with an open concept. Do not call these guys if you are looking for cheap cabinets and flooring. I think everyone can appreciate a quality product and installation come at a cost. I really appreciate Garage Experts professional and timely work even though the job was not in my garage. Expecting delivery of a hot tub for my back patio within a few weeks but needing some kind of an upgrade to the 40+ year old cracked and worn concrete surface, Garage Experts had just what I needed! The patio runs the length of the house and along with the front porch (in a different color!) it came to almost 850 square footage. With one day to prep and repair the old concrete then put down a water barrier, another day for applying the vinyl coats and a final third day to finish drying we now have a beautiful and colorful replacement for the old dingy patio that will complement our new hot tub! 5 stars well deserved! read more

Ben and his team did an amazing job on my garage floors. I collect classic cars and it looks like a showroom. I only wish all contractors had the integrity, quality, and work ethic that they do. They helped move furniture around, remove and reinstall toilets, as well as unhooked/reinstalled our stove/appliances. Jairo Yairo, Nehemias Rivera, and Charley gave me a very reasonable estimate on the work required and then went to town on the job. They purchased the Vinyl flooring that I had selected at Lowes and went right to work on the project. I watched as they meticulously pieced every plank together and made sure it was perfectly fitted to the planks surrounding it. They replaced the trim and did a fantastic job of painting it.
