That being said..I really liked the atmosphere and their coffee and pastry selection was amazing.. the croissant with Dulce de leche in the middle are worth coming here for. Personally, I enjoy Bulla most as a place to grab drinks and order a bunch of lighter bites to share rather than for a traditional sit-down dinner. Good food, great sangria, and consistently a great experience. Definitely one of my favorite spots for tapas!

I liked it but I do think if it had less sauce, I would be able to taste the meat better as the flavors can be a bit overpowering. Overall, the service was amazing. Our server was friendly, funny and attentive. It was a big party, yet there was no issue with the food or payment. There was a DJ playing music but we were able to still talk. Disappointing Miami Spice Experience…read more I was really looking forward to trying this place for Miami Spice, especially since I was meeting friends who live about two hours away. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing from the start. When we walked in, there was a noticeable moldy/musty smell, which immediately made the atmosphere less enjoyable. Several items that were advertised as part of the Miami Spice lunch deal were actually not being offered for lunch. There was only one waiter on the floor and one bartender, and it showed. We waited over an hour for our food, and unfortunately, when it finally arrived, it was mediocre. It was especially disappointing because my friends had driven about two hours to meet up, and we were hoping to have a great Miami Spice experience. What really stood out to me was how they take relatively simple ingredients and pack them with so much flavor. We tried the Hot Maple Flatbread, Breakfast Sandwich, and Lemon Curd & Blueberry Pancake, and everything was delicious. The sausage patties in the breakfast sandwich were especially good, incredibly flavorful and probably one of my favorite things we had. The pancakes were another standout. The lemon curd with the blueberries was the perfect combination of sweet and tangy without being overly sweet. I also had the Sake French 75. They only serve beer and sake-based alcohol, but they get surprisingly creative with their mixed drinks. I honestly didn't feel like I was missing out on a traditional cocktail menu at all. The service was outstanding as well. Ogene was attentive, friendly, and gave us great recommendations, which made the experience even better. Definitely one of those places I wish I had tried sooner.
