I am very disheartened to write this but I was 100% racially profiled in this store. I will say I…read moredon't frequent this location and it will definitely be my last time. I was on a search to find a headband and shawl for my Goddaughter. This was the second location I stopped at. Upon entering, I noticed every associate working with someone. That's fine. I'm more of an independent shopper. I'm looking in the front area and as soon as I turn around I see an associate fuddling with clothes. Ok. Fair. Maybe she's cleaning things. Decided to move to the back of the store. I'm looking through this section and turn and see another associate in the same section a little further down. Pretty much eyeing me but not directly. Now at this point it's blatant and I'm annoyed. I've worked retail I know how this works. I decided to just ask the associate if she can help me find what I'm looking for. She really couldn't since what I needed was very specific. That's fine. I continued to try looking to see if maybe I missed something. That same associate pops up and places an item in the section I'm in that didn't really need to be there it seemed. And then hovers close by 'fuddling' with clothes. At this point it was blatant and obvious I wasn't welcomed there. It was uncomfortable and I honestly never had an experience as ... blatant. I am a black woman and I spend a lot of my money in this area. Thought this would be a location I could utilize for future needs but that will not be happening. It's 2021. Let's do better.

Who would have thought…read morethat with diva kids' limited adult special occasion dress selection, that I would find it there! However the dress I loved in store wouldn't fit. And that's when my experience with diva kids really started. And it was delightful! On the first day one lady ordered the dress for me in the correct size without extra charge! She was so helpful with taking measurements and being transparent with the vendor that it was a rush order since I had my engagement shot coming up in a week. She empathized a lot seeing as her son also just got married The next week I encountered another lady who was so helpful. The dress was slightly too large up at the top and so she she pinned me to get it altered. I told her I didn't have time to get it altered as the photos were going to be taken tomorrow. She said don't worry and called 3-4 seamstresses who worked in the shop and told me to come back tomorrow and it would be fixed. And if I didn't like it that I would get my money back (this was ok with me as I had a backup dress) The next day, right when the place had opened, I entered and my dress was ready - and it fit beautifully!!! The seamstress came in an hour before opening and did the work, so it was ready! And it was done so well! So overall, I highly recommend diva kids. They are filled with immensely helpful, attentive, caring and talented women!

When my daughter twirled in her dress, the saleswoman reacted with visible upset and spoke harshly, creating an uncomfortable atmosphere for both girls. She insisted that only paying customers could try on dresses and made an inappropriate comment about my daughter's friend's weight while they were trying on dresses. Her unprofessional behavior, including dismissive tones and judgmental remarks, made us feel unwelcome and uneasy throughout the visit. Additionally, she directed us to the sale rack, asking if the little girl intended to buy a dress, citing the delicacy of her dresses. This behavior reinforced the unwelcome feeling unless a purchase was made.
