I like this GAP outlet specifically due to the lack of crowds. I want to say I visit here every other time I come to St. Augustine. I am usually on a mission to find something specific when I do shop here. The store is very large and there are clothing options for everyone for all sorts of occasions. I usually start my shopping in the men's section since it is right at the entrance. I have purchased cargo shorts for hubby in the past and he liked them so I look for them. I also look for men's pajama pants for myself because I like them baggy. Unfortunately, I have not found any yet here. I then make my way towards the women's section and start in the back by the clearance section. I usually find at least one item in the clearance area. I then make my way towards the front of the store, browsing through the women's section. In the next aisle, it is athletic and logo clothing. I walk through but rarely buy anything in this section because why would I pay for clothing to advertise their logo?!? This location has never been seriously busy. With that being said, I rarely have waited on line to pay. There is always at least one employee behind the registers and they are completing some kind of task while they wait for a customer to come up and check out. From my experiences, they are not most bubbly people but that is fine. The prices are reasonable but I have noticed the outlet jeans fit completely different than the regular store ones so I no longer purchase them. I do love their pajama pants but they do not have them in stock all the time. read more

Just another GAP store. The prices at the outlet are not much of a difference. Staff was fine. They are limiting the number of people due to COVID but we hit it when the line was empty. Not much of anything I want. read more

I'm not used to GAP as I always thought it was too expensive for me. But this GAP wasn't bad. Not sure if maybe it was Black Friday and the deals were great or that maybe I have not explored other options. Maybe both. But anyways, the store was quite busy and found a jacket for my fiance's brother to try on. It fitted him well and his girlfriend had him try another jacket too. Both looked good and it's great to have both as Japan will be in the 20s when we arrive there. I looked around to see if there are clothes that I may want. I went to the clearance section and found some good stuff. Taking an additional percent off the clearance ticket price. Hell yeah that's a deal! Depending on what you get, it ranged from $1.00 to $10.00 after the additional percent off. I got few things for myself and for my future mother-in-law that I wanted to buy for her. Then I found a plain Henley for $7. They only had a medium in black but I was able to fit in it just right. It fitted comfortable and not super tight. A large would be better, but they didn't have any. I checked out and paid under $20 for about 6 items. That's a good deal! Would definitely come back to shop some more during the holidays. read more

There was so much I love about the gap outlet. The moment I stepped in with the warm greeting and people definitely feeling the building to partake in the great sales and the friends and family atmosphere, I felt right at home as well. I had already hit up banana republic and I thought I go to one of my favorite stores of all time that has wonderful quality and service. Immediately I was told about the promotion that was going on this weekend through Monday. So why would NY take a vantage? I Natalie took it out it definitely crazy! There was such great people there who were willing to provide knowledge about their product and they were willing to help. Usually the outlets people are not very customer centric while knowing that people are there for bargains so items sell itself so why should they do anything? This is not the case; and I don't believe all outlet stores are this way so let me be clear. I don't frequent the gap outlet but rather the gap at the St. Johns town Center which has a first run merchandise. The merchandise is still great quality at either location. What also seems to be a constant is a level of service that you'll receive. The associate that was balancing tasking and selling was named, Stephen. He was absolutely great! He was honest when I asked him his opinion and told me that he doesn't want someone to be disappointed. I wasn't disappointed and I appreciate his honesty. He actually put my bags behind the counter and took my name and I must've met if I were in the market to hire someone to work for me I would certainly scout him. I loved his level of care, concern, attention to detail, and work ethics. He is certainly a gem of an employee. I purchased nothing that I needed but everything that I wanted and then some because of the validation of my choices, the interaction that he and his fellow associate performed, and even at the check out the associates were very informative courteous and attentive. This was a great experience all the way around. I will be back and if you haven't gone to the gap outlet in the Saint Augustine outlet mall, then please do. read more

Come here for all of your basics. Tanks, jeans, t-shirts, boxers, sweaters... Gap Outlet has you covered and usually has some great deals. Sign up for their emails (actually just for the factory outlets) for even bigger savings. I'm a little plain Jane so I like solid colored clothing, and I usually like most of the colors Gap offers... last visit I scored some boyfriend jeans, a super soft black maxi skirt, some boxers and a few tanks. I really like their active wear too (for when I decide to finally do some sort of exercise, at least I'll be comfortable and look decent!) Since it's an outlet, expect some chaos in the fitting area and probably not a employee back there to help if you need another size. And that's ok, I just head back there and look for an open room. Overall, decent quality clothes, great prices.... win win. Outlets rock! read more

Crowded, long lines, messy display tables (my pet peave), and not a whole lot of variety, but perhaps I'm wrong for expecting more from a discount outlet store. They had a special on Memorial day, 50% off of select items in the store. I managed to get a couple of button down sweaters, two pair of cute skinny minnies, a pair of sandals and shorts. I'm certainly happy about my purchases, but the trouble you have to go through just to browse, select, "cash out", and make it back to your car is a bit much. If you prefer the chaotic shopping experience with tempting deals, then this is your place especially during a major holiday. Otherwise, I say skip it and find a more civilized Gap location to endulge your guilty pleasure of khakis, Mr. Roger's sweaters, and knee length knockers. read more

This is easily one of my favorite stops at the outlets. It's an actual outlet (a lot of the stores here aren't). I tend to find it rather hit or miss but that's an outlet, I guess. Like Allie said, this is a great place for basics. If you hit it right, you can even get stuff like socks for cheaper than Target. The staff here is always friendly and the dressing rooms are usually pretty tidy. I have an Old Navy/Gap/Banana Republic credit card so occasionally they'll run promotions or send coupons for the outlet stores so that is typically when I make the drive. I also love the location, right on the end section because you can usually park pretty close to the actual store. read more
