My payment had already went through but they said "payment was never received" and it didn't print out a receipt So they rung the same item I already paid for, for a second time. That also went through. I bought one item twice. I asked a manager about receiving the first payment back since they charged me twice and she told me I would receive it that same night. I never received it and called the store location. I was told by a different employee "we can't do anything about that and you need to contact HR". So I did and they told me the same thing AND that I would also need to contact my bank instead. Well I got my money back but it wasn't from this company. Super disappointed and upset with how this company does business.

It's been a bit of a miss at the outlet location, but I guess there just isn't the variety or "newness" of the regular stores. Same with service here. Either someone is following me around the entire time, or doesn't acknowledge my presence. (Which is totally fine by me... I usually know what I'm looking for and don't require a ton of help.) I will say, when I can find a pair of shoes I like, I snatch them up. They are pretty good quality and last for quite awhile. Same for most of the clothing too. The pants here don't seem to fit my body type, but hey, you can't win em all. I do really enjoy their dresses though, and the sale racks, (while usually packed with stuff) can be a bit difficult to navigate, you can sometimes find a pretty good steal here.

The store to the right of the Polo store still has a great selection with outlet type discounts.

I am somewhat disappointed at the small selection they have of dishes and such because they used to carry a lot more but apparently it's easier for them to just sell the stuff on the Internet instead although you can't put your hands on it so that doesn't necessarily work for me. Apparently though it does work for them so I'll buy my dishes somewhere else. The clothing that Carrie is some semi name brands, you're not gonna find anything very expensive here for sure and when you add the sale prices on top of everything else it makes it pretty darn inexpensive. Always have a coupon in the paper and they also have coupons through their app. That reminds me, I forgot to get the coupon out of the app when I checked out today so I only got 50% off of my purchase instead of 50% off +20% like I could've gotten if I use the coupon. Sigh. I'm not a huge fan of most of their clothing brands and usually it's a little chaotic for me in the store to shop for clothing but it was good when my kids were a little because you could get a lot of stuff for a little bit of money. They even carry men's suits although you're stuck with whatever sizes they happen to have on the rack. If you're careful you can find some pretty good deals in this place. The staff is always friendly, in the upstairs I often find that they have retirees working part time and that's great because the retirees typically take a lot of pride in their work and they are always very friendly.

I've seen this store numerous times back home in San Diego (La Jolla) but never popped in. What drew us into this store was the window decal that said "Be . YOU . tiful". Then of course, the bright colored scarves was the next thing that pulled me in. I'm a sucker for scarves and any other accessory for that matter. They carried a line named Spartina 449 (www.spartina449.com/) that I fell in love with. They had a section dedicated to this line and the patterns of their scarves and handbags were so appealing to me. The patterns that I loved were Sallie Anne and the Callahan. They had purses, coin purses, wristlets and jewelry in each which made it very difficult to decide which I wanted. In the end, I purchased an artisian scarf in a soft pastel pattern, a beautiful cover for my mini ipad which was actually made for a Kindle but it fits my mini perfectly. (http://www.spartina449.com/callahan-kindle-4-touch-cover.html) and a coin purse in the Sallie Ann pattern (http://www.spartina449.com/sallie-ann-island-coin-purse.html). I also purchased a tear drop necklace that falls mid chest that I knew I couldn't leave without. My sister did the most damage and ended up buying practically everything in the Lesesne pattern. She was so excited about her purchase, she changed out her purse on the drive back to Orlando. lol The gal working was very helpful and super sweet. We were the only one's in the store for awhile but she totally took care of us and made us feel right at home at all times. This is a store that I wouldn't shop in regularly, but I'm glad we found pieces that we fell in love with and were able to take home. I wore my scarf to a meeting the next day and got lots of compliments on it. Wouldn't you know...the following day it was 80 degrees in San Diego so it's been sitting pretty on my closet shelf. Can't wait to wear it again.
