I recently visited your store as I've just moved to the area and was excited to start shopping for the fall season. Unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing due to a clear lack of customer service. Upon entering, I was not greeted or acknowledged by any staff. Even when I was visibly in need of assistance, one employee came near me but didn't offer any help or speak to me. I had to initiate the interaction myself, and even then, the response was unenthusiastic and dismissive--as though helping me was an inconvenience. As a long-time shopper at Gap/Old Navy, not just for myself but also for my children, this left a very negative impression. I truly hope this experience is not reflective of the company's customer service standards overall. In my own line of work, we are rated #1 because we prioritize the customer experience. I would highly recommend additional training for your staff to ensure that future customers feel welcomed and valued. read more

I went into this Gap knowing what I was looking for. It wasn't hard to find the item as the store is fairly organized. I had purchased the same item at another store so I was really there to pick up another pair in a different color. I always check out the clearance section. It appeared in a bit of disarray. It may be because it was a Saturday afternoon and picked over. The clothes were not at all organized. No big deal for me at the time since that was not my focus. Gap was having a great sale of 40% off their pants. Getting a deal is very important to me so I was happy to find this deal when I went in to shop. read more

I came here looking for vacation shirts, instead of being offered help I was followed around the store. I am sure I was followed because every section I was in the same worker stood nearby me constantly walking by. Wasn't even offered help. I went to the dressing room to try on the shirts I selected and when I exit he is right outside. As I go to check out the worker is standing by the exit. The least I can say is I was greeted when I walked in, yes I am black. read more

So I get it, it's a holiday weekend, stores are busy but good gosh. I went out before the crowd with my 4.5M old in a stroller and my 2.5 year old...I was passed by 2-3 employees, never asked if I needed help, the. I stood by the dressing room for the bigger fitting room and had 2 employees pass me...didn't ask if I needed help. I finally found someone walking in such a hurry when I asked for a dressing room she was all flustered and had someone else help me. Well checkout time, there was one person at the register...now there was no line but another employee came to the front, seeing I'm in line and the customer at the register was taking longer than usual..still didn't bother to hop on a register. The same employee who brushed me off at the fitting room came up and said she could help me, but still spent another 5 minutes finishing what she was doing. I wasn't blown away by this GAP. Let's face it, GAP's popularity, fashion sense and quality have all gone downhill over the years. It's almost as if Old Navy has switched to becoming the line-ups flagship brand. (Keeping in mind it, GAP and Banana Republic are all in the same brand supposedly increasing in quality and price in that order.) Old Navy is still cheap but the quality is better these days. GAP is still the same price but the variety and quality have declined. At least at this location though, there is a lot of stuff. The store is huge, the price cuts are huger. I came in a bit worried I wouldn't find my most favorite work business casual pants but I did. They had them spread out in 4 different places both hanging and in stacks. There aren't many different styles, but lots of different colors for the same styles. For the guys they've got the usual: jeans, khakis, t-shirts, dressier shirts (not BR quality), underwear, shorts, socks and maybe a few accessories. On the point of underwear, I got two pair from here and it's like they forgot to put elastic in the bands at the factory. I will not likely ever buy GAP underwear again. Staff here is friendly. As I said, prices aren't bad but quality isn't good generally. Nowadays though I will skip GAP unless I'm going in specifically for the khaki pants I wear for work. Since you're already at the outlet mall, pass this GAP up and head over to the Banana Republic. read more

I'm a little late to the game when it comes to Charlotte's Premium Outlets... I believe they opened a while ago, and I just now got a chance to check them out - in my head I was telling myself to avoid the crowds (I don't do well in crowds). Anyways, I visited this GAP during a workday evening and it was very much what I was expecting. Luckily there weren't that many people by the store so it was easy to navigate the well organized and folded clothing options. I stuck to only the men's side, but there was a good selection... it was weird seeing sweaters, but I guess it's getting to be fall.... Also did not help that it was a nice and toasty 90 degrees outside (perfect sweater weather shopping). There was a small clearance rack for some hidden gems, but very few and far between... unless you are an XS or XXXL. I managed to find a pair of jeans for $8! SCORE. But my find was tarnished by the fact that I was attacked by some hangers while standing in line to pay. OK - let me back up... Since the store was not-so-busy, the employees were definitely doing their part in organizing and completing their regular retail tasks. One employee seemed to be in a rush (maybe her shift was ending?) and was clearing out the hangers from behind the cash register... anyways a rack of plastic hangers came into contact with my elbow. No apology was offered... just an "excuse me" and I suddenly felt like it was my fault (even though I was just standing there)... No elbow replacement needed, but I just shook it off.... I'll just have a couple nights of hanger nightmares and call it a day. The dangers of outlet mall clothes shopping.... All kidding aside, I was offered help by a couple employees - they were friendly (minus the hanger assault) and the store overall is what you would expect from a GAP. read more

Was taken aback that this Gap outlet store wasn't very big. While the layout is organized, it is somewhat cluttered, even though product is displayed nicely. I felt like I was weaving in & out of a maze. Prices are very affordable & still maintain the Gap quality. Even though there was quite a bit of employee presence, I wasn't greeted by anyone. Literally just walked in and no one even says hello or anything (and this has happened every time I've come here), a lady walks past me a few different times and can notice I'm lost & continues to say nothing to me at all..so we head to leave out and they don't acknowledge either....they come to work to get a paycheck and nothing else.
