The staff was friendly and the bartender was awesome. The process of booking and making payments was easy. Considering how expensive venues can be, this was perfect and very affordable. The venue on the first floor is quaint with such a beautiful old vintage feel. The room already looks "dressed up" so your decor can be minimal. We received many compliments from our guests about the venue and the overall experience. Unfortunately, our experience with the owner was very different. While he fulfilled everything outlined in our contract, his interactions during setup made the process much more stressful than it needed to be. Our set up and rehearsal felt uncomfortable after being spoken to sharply, including being reprimanded for leaning on a table. When I politely asked if we could add one additional table (at a cost, if at all possible)), I was also met with a raised voice. It was a simple question. I wasn't demanding or accusatory, but he became extremely defensive. Throughout setup, it felt as though we were being closely monitored rather than supported. To be fair, the venue honored every part of our agreement, and I appreciate that. However, hospitality is about more than fulfilling a contract. On such an important day, I hoped for a little flexibility, warmth, and kindness. Because of that experience, I personally would have a hard time recommending the venue, despite the beautiful facility and wonderful staff.

She was always responsive and answered every single text, which made the whole planning process so much less stressful. The food was delicious during the food tasting we were able to try three different dishes, and every single one was great. Our guests kept telling us the food was a 10/10. The waiters and servers were amazing very attentive to our guests' needs and always on top of everything. The lighting was beautiful and really set the mood for the night, and the main screen was phenomenal. We were able to show a special video of our daughter's 15, and it came out perfect. The bar service was spectacular professional and well organized. The decorations were exactly what we wanted. Melanie truly brought our vision to life, and every detail was executed perfectly. Everything ran smoothly, and the night turned out better than we could have imagined. We are so grateful to Melanie and her team and would highly recommend this venue to anyone planning a special event. She explained everything in detail and provided options. Throughout our planning- texting was an option which always had quick responses. The venue is such a beautiful place- we had the Ambassador room - which fit perfectly to my daughter's theme. The venue provided so many items- plates, utensils, tables, chairs and linens- which is great- a few less things to think of! They also provided a vendor list in which I used 2 vendors from - great experience with both! On the day of , the staff was ready and professional at all times. I had to move out the start time by an hour and they were quick to adjust. Throughout the night they cleaned up and were ready for the next item- cake cutting- late night snack. Overall, my daughter had a beautiful event and all my guests were happy and this is all to the amazing staff at The Rose Gardens. Thank you!!!

Ultimately, we paid far too much for food that was removed HOURS before the party was over (I found the staff helping themselves with no intention of bringing it back out), we paid for double protein servings for 55 and barely fed 35 before it all disappeared, we prepaid for alcohol (or they charge you $500 for use of the bar AND for the individual drinks), and someone took off with the birthday cake and that had to be tracked down. My mom had a good time, but it's hard not to feel completely ripped off by this process. Next time, it'll be anywhere but here. Very pretty venue, but the service just wasn't what we paid for at all.

We had our ceremony in one room with 32 of our guests, while our reception was held in another room. Everything flowed smoothly, and our guests had a wonderful time. We especially want to thank Rose, who helped us throughout the planning process and made sure everything came together. Susie was also incredibly helpful and guided us through the marriage license process, which we really appreciated. And a very special thank you to Elvira, who married us and made our ceremony so meaningful and memorable. The food, cake, bartending, service, and photobooth were all great additions to the package, and it was so nice not having to coordinate with multiple outside vendors. The staff helped make our wedding day feel special and allowed us to focus on celebrating with our family and friends. The SFS city rep helps you with every question you have. They also offer a lounge for junior high and high school students to hangout. There's all kinds of activities for them to relax and hang out with friends after school. They always have a staff on floor to monitor them. That's pretty cool. Wished I had that available when I was a kid. They offer a lot of classes for resident and non-resident. I can't express how much I love this city :)
