Leah, the manager is wonderful but her hands are tied. Next door @ North Fork Storage (a new facility) they quoted me a 12x15 for $130 per month. I'll factually highlight that they're gauging. I've been a customer for 6+ years. I rented a 10 x 15 in 2021 that cost me $110 a year and if I paid The entire year at once I got one month free. This brought the price to about $100 a month. Four years later they are charging me $164 a month. That's a 64% increase in four years (an average of 16% per year!) Even Biden, and his lousy policies, didn't produce that kind of inflation, he's at 5.2%! So airport Storage, which has no real consumable material costs, is charging a good customer 300% the inflation rate during the Biden administration. This is nothing but a money grab, and especially shady as hell since when I called their service center I can rent the same 10x15 unit today for $147 per month at the same facility. So they're just sticking it to us. Stay away from this place. They're price gauging

I was needing a storage unit in June or July for my son, a college student, and was seriously getting worried that we would not be able to secure one. Matthew put us on their waiting list. A couple weeks later, Matthew called me (I didn't have to keep calling him and asking for updates) and said one was available beginning June 1. Needless to say, I was thrilled, and we now have a storage unit. This type of customer service is becoming very rare these days! Matthew is knowledgable, professional, helpful, and just plain courteous and respectful! Thank you Matthew! We are so grateful, and I will recommend LSS to anyone, as will my son!

*CAUTION* I rented a unit at Skyway Self Storage after being told the security cameras were…read morefunctional and that walkthroughs were performed daily at close of business. My unit was later broken into, property was stolen, and I eventually learned the cameras near my unit were apparently not even connected to Wi-Fi. There was no useful footage available, and the police log reflected the same. According to the police logs, another break-in had already occurred at the same facility several days earlier. So either my unit sat compromised for days with no walkthroughs actually being performed, or management already knew there had been recent break-ins and still did not have functioning cameras in place. Neither explanation inspires much confidence. Among the items stolen were irreplaceable mementos and awards accumulated over 12 years of military service and 3 activations supporting OIF/OEF. As a disabled veteran and parent of a one-year-old, those were the kinds of personal items I hoped to one day pass down to my child. Those are not things you simply replace with an insurance check. After the burglary, I repeatedly requested insurance information and preservation of any available video footage and access logs, along with basic follow-up from ownership/management. So, to recap: burglary response delayed, insurance information delayed, ownership response delayed, preservation requests ignored, rent increase right on schedule. The only meaningful communication I received throughout this entire process was an email increasing my rent.
