Owner tells me he can fix it in a week, takes my $50 deposit, says he will be in touch soon. 2. Wait six months without getting a single phone call. Occasionally drop in to check in, and, on the rare occasion that he's there, be told that he's almost got it figured out. Wonder why he couldn't make a 30 second phone call to fill me in on that. 3. Finally get frustrated, demand turntable back when he admits that he hasn't gotten anywhere (still not a single call to let me know what was going on). 4. Realize that not only have I wasted $50 and six months, but the cartridge isn't even the same and the turntable is actually worse off than when I brought it in. Curse owner, try to stop in several times to find that he's out, finally give up because it's just not worth getting this angry over electronics. Worst service I've ever encountered. If you want to blow your deposit on a guy who doesn't appear to know what he's doing OR how to work a phone, this is the place for you.

Neither my husband or I are great with taking photos so we opted to do a engagement shoot with J, in the winter, to get that initial meeting and awkwardness out of the way. We had the best time roaming Boston and our photos came out incredible! On to our wedding: J was prompt and got it done in 90+ degree weather. She tag teamed the wedding with our second shooter, Natalie, who was also amazing. They made themselves present when needed (i.e. "look here at the camera" for big group shots) and captured the night from the side when no one was looking. When I saw videos of our entrances I had no idea they were literally right there whole time to capture the best moments. I can't wait to see our photos but also couldn't wait that long to write up how great it was working with George Street. Thanks again for an awesome wedding J!

It has a particularly good selection of new and used rock records, as well as a nice selection of jazz. Round Again has been in business since 1979 and has outlasted all other Providence record stores from that era, all under one owner who, as far as I can tell, is also the only employee. I've bought tons of records there over the years that remain prized parts of my collection, and I almost never leave empty-handed. For those complaining about the owner's temperament: get a grip. No, he is not Mr. Congeniality. But he is knowledgeable and extremely fair. If you want to sell, he will give the highest payouts in the area, in my experience; if you want to buy, his prices tend to be lower than anywhere in the area. I've had many conversations with him; he's a very interesting person with a lot of great stories who is not afraid to voice his opinion. I enjoy talking to him. There are many other record stores in the area that I like as well, but Round Again has survived and thrived for over 45 years for a reason. Shopping at Round Again feels exactly like shopping at a used record store in the 80s. I'm grateful I can still get that experience somewhere.

I did also check out their Transformers Blokees but my husband already had a majority of them. Nothing else really caught my eye for him as a take home present. My lack of stars is not for the store itself but for the staff. I interacted with 3 of them and all were unbelievably rude. I know they deal with a lot of traffic from tourists but if you can't handle customer service with tourists then maybe you should find a better fitting job. Customer service should not be it. This Newbury comics is part of a mall…read more I grew up on the original Newbury comics in Newbury st in Boston so this comic book store has a special place in my heart. However, the vibe has changed over the years and this location feels different than the one in Boston. This one feels more like a gift shop than the nostalgic collectors store that I grew up with. Anyways, got some pop figures for my nephew. They have a large collection. Staff seem friendly. Overall, I always find the stuff in Newbury to be interesting, especially gifting teenagers.
