I'm mostly shopping PS5, Switch, Switch 2, and some retro, and to their credit, this location is actually pretty well stocked. Good game selection, and I appreciate that the store isn't 70 percent Funko Pops. The collectibles are there, but they don't dominate the entire wall, which is refreshing. The employees do know games, which I appreciate, but interactions here can be hot or cold. Once it becomes clear that I also know what I'm talking about, the energy sometimes shifts and it can get weirdly intense. Not rude, just awkward, especially when you're ready to leave and the conversation doesn't seem to want to end. Trade-in values were surprisingly reasonable the last time I brought something in, though I rarely trade these days. Pricing otherwise is... GameStop. Used games usually feel a little optimistic unless there's a sale happening. It's not THAT bad, which is why it lands at three stars. It's convenient, the inventory is solid, and sometimes it's exactly what you need. Just don't expect a relaxed, browse-and-bounce experience every time. Sometimes you get it, sometimes you really don't.

I just purchased a PS4 online and was not able to get a warranty- these guys hooked me up without any issues and handled all the paperwork inside so I didn't have come in. I don't know if curbside will change permanent ways in which we shop... but it has been pretty cool to just order online, meet me at the door and grab my stuff and go! This is an introverts shopping paradise! I have been coming to this location for years- manager here is great and the events (Madden and 2k) they hold at this location are always smooth and orderly. This location actually holds on to good employees- so there is minimal turn over, so ends that their customer service recognizes their good returning customers. Hope this point survives as it's convenient to have it in little elm instead of driving to large shopping areas.

I was looking for a used PS4 game, and wanted to confirm they had one copy left, from what the Gamestop website showed. Only location in town to have it, apparently. Called several times...phone just rings and rings. Was able to call Collectible Cards and Games and they had two copies left, but $5 more than Gamestop. I went and bought it anyway because I can't trust this location. Lesson: answer your phones. You might lose out on a sale if you don't.

When I showed up during their business hours, it was locked up. The note said left at 4pm and be back at 5pm, but I showed up before 4pm. It looked like the note has been there a while & the store has been closed for a while. Called about 4-5 a day at different times hoping to reach someone for the next 3 days. No one picked up the phone. Closed again the next day. The customer service just said to wait 3 business days for automatic cancellation because there is nothing they could do about store pick up orders. After 3 days, still didn't get a refund. Finally got it refunded in 5 days after I had a family member check the store for me. They were finally open. At that point, I didn't even want the console anymore. Bought it somewhere else.

Gamestop is your typical gaming needs place. Location is convenient to my house; as it is only 10…read moreminutes from my home. The store seems smaller than most others. With it's small size, though, makes up with the staff. I have known to become a regular now, coming pretty much every Thursday and/or Friday. The staff there is very helpful, and always help me find what I want. If we cannot it, they always offer alternatives to feed my gaming needs. This has lead me to some really good adventures in gaming. When the staff is not busy, they always make time to discuss other games and interests within gaming with me. That I believe is great customer service when one is trying to relate to the customer. This has been probably the best Gamestop I have been out of all in the area.

The associates that work here REALLY know their stuff, they seem to live and breath video games which is great when you have questions. One of the associates really connected well with my son and really got him excited about a new game and feel welcome.
