I want to be able to recommend this place! They have such a great selection of squishies. And for pretty OK price points. It's just the service that makes it kind of a downer for me. A lady behind me cut in front of us in line, and the worker didn't do anything about it. The workers were very unwelcoming. read more

Awesome selection for toys! Very fun to just shop there and the host event like squishy trading!

Cute, convenient spot with a lot of variety in selection! I'd say items are pretty reasonably priced, especially the viral stuff isn't marked up too much. Needoh, dumpling squishes, and Labubu are here, also. Staff were young but very sweet and helpful. Gift wrapping is complimentary and they do a great job! Can't wait to come back for more gifts for friends and family! read more

I had a very unpleasant experience at this store. It is extremely unwelcoming when workers follow customers around as if we are doing something wrong. While I was shopping, an employee followed me closely, which made me uncomfortable and completely ruined the experience. On top of that, I was holding a slime product when the worker made an unnecessary, dragged-out comment telling me not to touch the slime section. The signs in the store specifically say not to touch the glitter, which I was not doing. Being told otherwise felt rude and obnoxious, especially when I was following the rules. I want to strongly recommend that employees do not follow customers in this way. I am a full adult, and the behavior came across as intrusive and entitled. It was unprofessional, unwelcoming, and left me extremely unsatisfied with my visit. Because of this negative interaction, I chose not to purchase anything, and this store lost my business. I will not be returning, and I hope management takes this feedback seriously, because this was one of the most unjoyable shopping experiences I've had. read more

I have been shopping at this location for a few years now and never had any issue requiring a manager's assistance. I recently purchased a candy claw STEM toy for my son. My son saved up his allowance and was so excited to purchase the item so we could assemble it. He enjoys Legos, model cars and anything else that requires assembly. Maybe I should have checked Amazon to see the rating of the Thames and Kosmos Candy Claw machine before purchasing it from this location, but it did not cross my mind at the time. My son saw the item back in May while we were in the store purchasing a graduation gift for his cousin and had been saving up for it ever since. Upon opening the box we noticed how cheaply made some of the components were, nevertheless we continued to put it together. He was willing to deal with the flimsy design and said he would be extra careful with it once we were done. However, while putting the item together one of the cheaply made plastic pieces that was integral to the design snapped in half. I immediately contacted the store to see if they could possibly provide a replacement or exchange the item for another one. When I contacted the store in Frisco the clerk apologized and said she would inform the manager. She told me people had been having issues with Candy Claw machine and that they put stickers on the box to inform parents of the age at which a child should be able to independently build the unit. I informed her that we were putting the item together as we have done with many other products and have never run into an issue like this before. I asked if she could replace the part or the item so we could complete the build and she refused saying she would notify the manager and have the manager contact me the next day. I then went to Amazon to research the item only to discover that the rating was very poor and that we weren't the only people to have experienced this issue. My son was so bummed as he had been saving up for the item and $43 is a lot of money to a 10 year old. My son later decided that he did not want to risk getting another machine only to have the same problem. I then called the location in Plano and explained the entire situation to the manager on duty and she immediately offered to replace the item, no questions asked. When I arrived there were three very friendly staff members who helped me locate another item that my son might enjoy since he didn't want to take the chance of having another part snap on us. The staff at this store was more helpful and actually seemed to care about my son enjoying the item that he purchased. The manage of the Frisco location did contact me and only echoed what her staff told me when I contacted them which was something along the lines of: we are so sorry about that and we will keep that in mind. She also added that Thames and Kosmos is a good company and that their store stocks plenty of products from them and that I can contact Thames and Kosmos to get a replacement part. I politely informed her that I will be doing business with the Plano location from now on since they have already taken care of the issue and since they also have better customer service. I am extremely disappointed with this location. I try to support locally owned businesses instead of getting everything from Amazon, yet some owners make it hard to do so. Luckily, there is another location close by as I do love the company and won't let one bad item spoil my shopping experience with them. It's good to know that the Plano location stands behind their products. read more

I went in for the 1st time last week and I'm kicking myself I had not visited sooner. Great selection of toys and very reasonably priced. They had complimentary wrapping (yes, please!) and also offered to personalize these explorer hats we bought for free. We were unable to leave them at this visit and they told us to bring them back in with the receipt to get it done another time (updated pic of the hats). They had a small area in the back where kids could play with a few toys too. Highly recommend and will be back! read more

Learning Express Toys - Gift wrap of a stuffed animal - Toy Stores Near Me - Frisco, Texas

Popped by here to grab a birthday gift and was delighted by all of the incredible options. This store has so many quality toys and games to choose from--much better than what typical big chain stores have to offer! Sure they have fun, adorable novelty items, but I love all of the options for sensory and items the actually encourage your child to use their brains and think, learn and grow! We will definitely stop here first before ever going to a Walmart or target again! To top it off, Sonnie have excellent gift recommendations and even offered to gift wrap our purchases! Wow! Excellent customer service to boot! Thank you! read more

Fantastic selection of toys for all ages and incredibly nice staff there to help out. And they gift wrapped for free! So glad I stopped by!

OMG--i took 6 very responsible Pearson middle school girls to the shopping center. I went into hallmark while the girls went to learning express. The learning express employees told the girls they were only allowed to shop for 10 min, timed them, & told them when had minutes remaining. The girls then went to Starbucks to study on a Saturday..later tried to go back into learning express & were told they cannot come into the store!! So rude, obviously dont want business! The girls all had money! Do Not shop at Non-learning express!! read more

I really wanted to like this store. I love to support small and local businesses. I've shopped here numerous times and I like the selection of toys. Of course things are overpriced but I'm willing to pay more for a local company. Unfortunately, I have had unpleasant experiences with the staff and this last visit was my last try with this store. I was in line behind another costumer. The costumer was helped and left. I was next. However, the cashier turned her back on me and the other 2 employees ignored me. 3 employees behind the small counter and no one was able to help me. Finally when one person decided to approach me, she was incredibly rude. It was a small misunderstanding on her part, but the attitude she had was uncalled for. I'm not going to pay extra for rude service. read more

Hi i'm a regular teenage girl who just wanted to check out and buy some toys. Of course I had money and everything and i was with my friends. We had no intention of messing around we just wanted to buy a few toys because well, it's a toy store. We walked in and they asked where our parents were. My friend's mom was right next door so we mentioned that. They right away said that we had 10 minutes and acted like we were trying to steal something. They kept watching us and reminding us that we only had ten minutes. After we bought some stuff, we walked out respecting their time limit. Later, we wanted to buy some more stuff so we wanted to go in thinking that it was okay. I opened the door and immediately told us we couldn't come in. Overall this was disappointing and not a good experience. so recommend not going in there. Also, they weren't even nice about it, they were only nice when we had our mom come in. It is bad business. read more
