When traveling with my son, Mike B. you get the chance to visit a lot of Asian gift shops. They had a huge selection of a wide range of gift items. Mike had been on the hunt for a specialty item for a friend. I can't tell you how many places we went. But, eureka we found it at Cute Crush! The service was great and most of the prices were reasonable. I really liked a cute mini back pack that had cute designs, but it was $95, so I didn't buy it. Not a pet friendly shop! If it's a grocery shop or restaurants I can totally understand but they are only a stationary shop. It did not say no pets allowed outside nor the sign indicates it. I happened to have my tea cup Maltese with me today when I pickup my kids from class. It's 90 degrees outside so I decided to bring my puppy into the shop as my daughter wants to pickup birthday presents for her three besties. The moment we walked into the shop the girl at the register said, sorry no dogs allowed. I did not think a moment and walked out. They lost my business today so I went Teso instead. First time coming in to see what Cute Crush is all about. It's a pretty small store but there's a lot of cool anime, K-POP, and all around Asian items/toys. Grabbed some items for my daughter who is into all of this right now. Items below in the pics totaled out to about $30 which is pricey. However, this place is really cool to take your kids to as a surprise or once in awhile treat. You might end up broke but they will have a really good time here. read more

Konicihwa Cute Crush! This place is super cute! This is the place I go to stock up on all my BTS merchandise and paraphernalia. Their Pokemon supplies are top notch for any Pikachu Pro or anyone else who hasn't caught 'em all. They have all kinds of fun pins and pens, paper and posters. They have K-Pop band stuff, as well as all the favorite Manga characters. All of 'em are super cute. I totally have a crush on this place! Parking is easy- it's right next to an Asian supermarket, so you can get your bubble tea next door after getting a Kirby drinking straw! Woot! I've visited this store twice to get Kpop albums, stationery, and figurines. The selection is really great, but the prices are a bit higher than normal. For anyone looking for a store in the DFW area, yes they do carry Sonny Angels and Smiskis! The employees have been nice both times I've visited :) read more

They do not answer phone calls ever, and should work on that for better customer service. I am terribly disappointed.

A ridiculously overpriced store or garbage you really don't need. But given my kids wanted something specific - anime posters - we decided to indulge them and go to this place. As we wait in line for the young lady at the checkout counter who seemed to be too busy talking to her friends, she finally turns to us who have been waiting in front of her for the last 5 minutes and says , the line starts on the other side where 2-3 people automatically walk up and wait ahead of us. There's no visible signs or markings for a line to start...at the very least she could have told us to move to the right spot instead of just looking at us for 5 minutes? I can't believe I found a hot spot that has anime, pop culture, and K-Pop! The moment I entered in I loved this place! I have to go back and see more of the products because I was just browsing really quickly! One of our friends was visiting from out of town. She wanted to check out this strip mall for a later night snack. As soon as we passed Cute Crush with all the fluffy cartoon characters we got sucked in quick! We could hear k-pop playing as we walked around the tightly wound aisles. This trip reminded me of our trip to Japan with all the small shops with tons of stuff to offer. I was fixated on the Gundam stuff as I bought one of the snap on toys from 7-11 in Shinjuku. Now I get to add to the collection. They also have a ton of stickers too. I bought some but I will be back for more. I love supporting local shops and this is one I plan to come back since they are just around the corner! The guy running the place was super friendly and even welcomed us back after our purchase. I am in love with this place. The owners here is a really sweet older Asian couple (Japanese?) and they will go out of their way to help you out. I originally started visiting here when it first opened. The first thing I bought here was a boxed gudetama mug for my Mom and unfortunately when I opened the box the mug was a little chipped. I called the store back and they let me switch the mug out with no questions asked and they even gave me a free greeting card. They treat their customers right! This store has a huge selection. They carry a vast array of plushies, stationary, and k-pop memorabilia. I like to visit every time in the area and regardless if I have an item in mind or not, I almost walk out with something new every time. If you have any questions or like to see any particular item in detail, their employees are always happy to assist you the best they can. Overall this is my favorite go-to Japanese stationary store and I love coming here. I haven't seen the owners here in so long and I miss them; they always smile. Super cute store! I always go here to get little gifts for people, or just whenever I have extra money to splurge for something for myself. I have gotten my Le Sserafim album, Sakura Miku figure, as well as postures and other albums there. The only real reason I give 4 stars is the uninviting energy I was faced with last time I was visiting :( I was shopping with a friend and a younger and older woman (who i sadly think was the manager) were working together, openly gossiping about customers in the store. There was someone in the store who stank which ya know honestly them black pink stans... i don't trust that they'd know a shower gel and loofa as far as i'd throw them, ya know? but honestly you don't know anyone's life situation. whether they're struggling with mental health or financially where they're having to conserve water. These ladies were making a scene about it, spraying a very strong smelling spray near the checkout counter, giggling amongst themselves, just overall being very catty. I would expect it from the younger woman, but I was very disappointed to see an older woman behave this way. As someone who has worked in retail for a couple of years now, you just have to have an inviting energy to you in order to make people feel comfortable. Will I be returning? Honestly, I'm not sure... As much as I like this store and it's stuff, this experience really threw me off. Basic human decency isn't hard. Fake it until the store is empty, or until y'all close. I really love all the supplies and kpop merch they sell here... but everything is so expensive to the point of being unnecessarily overpriced. I understand that shipping and selling this stuff does cost a lot, but selling a small charm or a medium sized plus for prices ranging 15-50 dollars? Daiso is right next door and although they have a limited range of supplies, their prices are much better and i'd recommend them if you're looking to but supplies. As for kpop merchandise, just order it on Amazon. There is no reason why an album i can order on amazon is almost half the price it is in this store... read more

The place has cute stuff but return policy SUCKS. Bought an album yesterday for my sisters birthday but it was super over priced, only got it because I couldn't find it anywhere else online. When I tried to return it the day after I got it, it wasn't even touched at all, I didn't even take it out the bag after I bought it. But when I got there they told me about how they don't accept returns on albums etc. I would've been fine if they told me that when I purchased it but they didn't even say anything about no returns, when you sell something you tell your customers that it can't be refunded or returned, not have them drive all the way there only to find out about this return policy that wasn't told BEFORE purchasing. The girl that was working there didn't even say anything to me but the price, rude customer service, didn't greet, didn't explain, didn't even look at me when I was at the register. I'd give higher ratings because of how cute the place is but with over priced albums, no description of return policy upon purchase and bad customer service. But if you go there for anything besides albums, cute stuff, slightly over priced but nice stuff. read more

the selection of albums was small, but the store has only been opened for about a month or two. they have BT21 merch, both official and unofficial. they also have CUTE plushies and stationary and some toys and slime for younger kids. this place gets 3 stars because the tax was weird. the album i got was 26.99 and after tax i was expecting it to be around 28-29 bucks. but the total for one album went up to 35 after tax. read more
