BUYER BEWARE: Unlike every other record store in DFW they make it nearly impossible to use the discount card once earned. I've spent hundreds of dollars here but have never once been able to use my cards. 1) Card can't be used the same day you spend $100, have to come back 2) If you comeback and have an older card, they won't accept, 3) If you have more than one card you have to come back to use them individually, 4) Actual discount is only 15% off ONE item (under $100) while every other store gives a set dollar amount off from points earned, so cheap! Both employees got mad at me for trying to use my cards, owner refused to reply. No respect for regular customers. read more

Great selection, great staff, great prices. I have found rare stuff here for a great value time and time again. They even carried my CD's which I have been able to sell several out of their store. Wow, so I was told by another store (Movie Trading Company), that this store had a good selection. Upon arrival, it was awesome. We found so many CDs from my list that I was ecstatic. Customer service was great. They even sold cassettes and eight-tracks. Keep it real, CD Warehouse. read more

I mainly shop their great selection of both new and used vinyl. Organized by genre and name so you can always find what your looking for, and if you can't the employees are always very helpful. I don't think I've ever left empty handed. read more

YAHHHHSSSS!!! Wasn't sure what I'd find in here since I hadn't been to a CD Warehouse in almost a decade but I was on a Vinyl kick this day and decided to stop by to see what they had. Surprisingly there were people in there shopping for CDs but I was on a mission. No one was in the vinyl section and once I got back there, they had theirs categorized in the best method. A section for Rock, separate section for Punk, separate for Indie and then a small section for Electronic. I was very pleased with how they have this setup however, the only downside I had was, I bought a brand new Portishead album, and when I got it home, it had scratch on it that causes it to skip but I really don't feel like driving all the way back to Arlington to see what I could do about it, if anything. read more

Screw all your downloads and fancy MP3 files.. I will keep my Cd's! (and some cassettes that are dear to my heart.. don't judge me) I love this dirty, musty, unorganized garage sale of a store.. The guys that work there are so knowledgeable.. they really love music.. and all kinds of music.. you can talk to them about Sparta or Whiz Khalifa or Josh Turner.. This is my go to record shop. Yep, don't let the name fool you. They have CDs of course, but they have a GREAT selection of both new and used records. The ones made out of vinyl, kids. It's always good to come in every few weeks and take a spin through the bins. I have purchased so many things for my collection here, I've lost count. They have a Tuesday night used vinyl special too. Big selection of classic rock. But if you're into metal (yes), jazz (yes) or even Hip hop and punk (yes yes) they have alot for your perusal too. If they don't have it and they can get it, they'll order it for you. That is just one example of the great service you get here from all the guys. I like coming here when I'm in the area. The records can sometimes be a dollar or two more than if you were to buy it online but I don't mind half the time bc I hate waiting. They have the vinyl separated into sections, such as punk, jazz, pop, and vintage, which makes it really easy to find what you're looking for or even find something new. They also have a great blu-ray selection that my husband really likes. You can buy four blu-rays for twenty bucks. The staff is really nice too and are willing to order anything for you if they don't have it in store. read more

They have a ton of records, at reasonable prices. Staff is friendly. The only downside is that you have to dig around in crates on the floor and then wait for the staff to price them. But if you've got the time, it's worth it. read more

Though this place doesn't have the prestige of Doc's or Good Records, it humbly beats them in a few ways. I always make an effort to drop in every so often for that reason. As per its namesake, they have a large collection of used CDs, cassettes, and DVDs, but I always head straight toward the back where they keep their records. Their used rock and jazz selection is about average; probably about a notch above what you'd find at a Half Price Books. However, their electronic, indie, metal, and hip hop sections are amazing! Their newly arrived section also contains pleasant surprises every so often. This place is worth digging through if you have more eccentric tastes. If you're looking for a more comprehensive selection of '60s, '70s, and '80s rock, blues, soul, etc., you would best be served at Doc's. Pricing for their used records is very fair. Whenever I've found something I liked, I've had no complaints, unlike with Doc's. Definitely worth a stop if you're vinyl shopping. read more

The people running this place have a pretty good collection of Underground Rap. I mean I didn't go out of my way to notice this but, I noticed. Something I don't see very often anymore i'd say. Cool little place, I heard they play shows here as well sometimes. Parking is a little awkward though because of some other businesses in that area. read more

I've discovered this is a great place to buy gifts for my rocking teenaged granddaughter without spending a fortune! They have old and new band t-shirts, posters and any kind of music you can think of. If you don't find what you want, their really nice staff will find it, even if they have to order it. Great first experience. I'm on the hunt for R&B CD's from the late 80's to the early 00's to add to my growing collection of when R&B music was definitely at its prime (late 70's baby). I was very impressed with the R&B selection. I purchased 9 CD's (Al B. Sure, Tony Toni Tone', SWV, etc). I could have purchased more, but I restrained myself this go round. The prices for the CD's I purchased were $4.99 to $6.99. The prices are reasonable. The store is located in a small shopping center down the street from UTA. The store is small, but is well stocked with various genre of music, DVD's, and records. There was no a/c blowing when I went. The door was propped open with a small fan at the front of the store. You'll be like a kid in a candy store once you enter and you'll forget all about the beads of sweat on your forehead and sweat dripping down your back. Who needs a/c in October though? The guys were really really nice. I will definitely be returning. I saw Aaliyah's "One In a Million" CD and I hope it's still there when I go back for round 2. Oh yea, they buy back too! read more
