Absolute bottom barrel customer service. I made a preorder 2 months ago. When the item finally arrived for purchase, I arrived within the pick-up window only to be told that they do not have the product. I went out of my way to pick it up. To not have the product in the timeframe is one thing. To give me a corporate generic answer of "the manager will let you know if you comeback tomorrow". I've already wasted my time coming here, why on earth would I comeback for an explanation. The 2 women I dealt with yesterday need to be trained on customer service. Gamestop still has my downpayment money and I still don't have what I ordered even though I came on time. I just called 5 times and no one picked-up the phone either so I'm left in the complete dark about where my products I ordered 2 months ago are. Horrible store, horrible employees, don't deal with these vermin. read more

Honestly it the same problem every time. The manger has to watch his employees as they are working and while another customer waits. Or he decides to help you but makes you feel like a nuisance because he will leave you waiting to help someone else. This has happen several times now so no it's not just that he was busy. If you go in he's a medium size short guy with glasses. Profiles you and decide who is worth his precious time. read more

Terrible selection, rude customer service every time, never answer the phones. They got rid of 3 nearby Gamestops, so i go to this one whenever i MUST. if i can get the deal elsewhere, i will, because they got rid of all their nice employees. They replaced the nice ones with a disgustingly rude man, then they replace him with an equally curt woman. No idea why all the managers in this Gamestop feel they are superior to all their customers, but they do and it shows. The clearance is always awful, the deals are non-existent, this Gamestop shows more than others why it is a failing business that only survived this long out of sheer dumb luck that wall street bets turned it's stock into a meme and inadvertently saved it. read more

Horrible they never answer the phone I check there inventory and they didn't have the item I wanted this is the last GameStop Ill visit for obvious reasons read more

Usually when I stop by here after school there is great customer service by this one guy. Yesterday March 20th, 2026, there was an employe by the name of "Bryan." I am a streamer on twitch, and I asked if he had any game recommendations. Bryan recommended me a game called "The Valiant." He charges me 37.99 for a code to download the game on steam. When i get home to my surprise I find out the game is originally 24.99 but steam was having a sale where the game was now 6 DOLLARS AND 24 CENTS. I call the store and explain the situation. they tell me to come in at 5PM the next day March 21st, 2026, I enter the store and they tell me, "Theres not much we can do since all cards are final" they also tell me that "we were going to call you but since you were already coming, we decided not to." They also told me about the pin pad saying if the price looked good but at that time, I didn't know the game was SIX DOLLARS BRYAN. Not only did they take 30 dollars from a 16-year-old kid (me). They also wasted my time. This Establishment sucks and if I could put a negative review I would. read more

William, Andrea, Adam, and Diana are super friendly. They always greet you as you walk in. On top of that they try and help you with any issue you might have. Even if something isn't in stock, they will try to figure out what your next best option is, whether it be getting it online, and ship to the store or suggesting to just wait when they get new stock. I will continue to come back to the store. Not only because the closest Gamestop to me closed down, but because of the service. Thank you read more

If I could give -5 I would. I call in advance to make sure they had this adapter that I needed, they assured me they had it so I went ahead and drove 35 minutes in the rain just to find out back at home that they deliberately took out a piece off the adapter that is completely necessary. Without it it's useless and yes I feel it was on purpose because since the beginning he was having this rude attitude. I was waiting outside in the rain because they only allow five people at a time inside the store, after one of the people inside left, the man in front of me went to go inside with his son and they said nothing about it. After another person left the store I counted how many people were inside they were only 4 so I went ahead and enter the store but he told to wait outside that I was going to be told when I could enter, which I found totally unfair since they did not say nothing to the person that entered before me. Finally after five more minutes and another two people left they let me in and it was only one person inside the store out of the five that are allowed, of course I wasn't happy about it and I let them see that. I wasn't rude or anything I just didn't make the Smalltalk that you usually do when you're being treated nicely, I just went ahead and requested my adapter to pay for it and leave. I did not want be in that store any longer than what was strictly necessary. My only mistake was not check the bag before leaving but I was in a rush, it was raining and I still needed to drive back home for another 35 minutes. Make yourself a favor and do not come to this store or if you necessarily need to come here check everything you buy before leaving, my mistake was trusting this people. Never again. read more

My regular gamestop, with a family full of gaymers we can always find something for a birthday, special occasion or just because. Easy to place pre orders, and I don't feel pressured to buy anything like in other gamestops. They have a small variety of Funko pops as well. read more

We have been customers since this location opened. Always received excellent Customer Service, Employees always did there diligence to inform the customer of any new items arriving, answering questions, and especially friendly. Had a question regarding the release of the new Xbox. Called and after three phone calls they answered. Michael informed me to call a day before to see if they were receiving any. I called other locations and every location informed me they are receiving a limited stock. Some 3 or 4 consoles. Advice to anyone looking for the new XBox or PS5 for Christmas . Call around and be informed. This location might not want to give any information, but other locations do want your business. They will answer your questions with one phone call. read more

Came to buy some games. I supposedly bought a brand "new" game but why they gotta give me the box off the shelf and put the CD in. I thought new was like, unopened never been used. So after a few days until I had the time to actually start playing the game, it had a code for some add ons. Guess what, someone have already redeemed the code, like wtf. Pretty much, I will never shop at any Gamestop ever again. I would just take my ass to ghetto ass Walmart and buy sealed new games. read more

They never have anything in that store. I one time went to go get a game and they said they don't have it so they were sending me to Inglewood read more

Where is the hot guy?? I came back to this store only to find the place a mess, no customer service and my eye candy had all gone away. Where oh where can he be?? With him he took his fast pace work, his no nonsense check outs, his organizing skills and his humor. He is the only Game Stop worker ever who has acknowledged my presence. Maybe I'm just not "gamer material" looking. I need to search high and low. GameStop after GameStop. Someday I'll find him. *sigh* read more

This is my least fav. Gamestop. Although it's a nice location for this community. Don't get fooled. The people here are very dull. And they seem like whatevers. I've been going here for years if my regular gamestop doesn't have what I'm looking for. I try out here. But the staff is always eh...and i feel uncomfortable. Anyways only 1 guy has ever been helpful. read more

Game advisor at the register was very helpful and friendly. Just dropped $400 they better be. Anyway store is nice, clean, and had a/c lol. I liked that all the game advisors there spoke some sort of Spanish since Hispanics are their top customers in this store. read more

So I walked in it was the launch for call of duty when arrived I got the game and stuff was checked out by a girl named Catalina she was nice we asked her for a poster and she said she had to ask the manager so long story short he said you have to be there by 7:30 for the launch which when we pre ordered they told us 9 we arrived at 8:30 so that really makes no sense he said that he couldn't give us those because they were raffles earlier that evening well they had 2 hanging so what was going to happen to those obviously they were going to take them will never come here again I'd rather drive further than come here with that manager it was some Hispanic chunky guy I didn't catch his name which I honestly wish I would of has no customer service skills nor the attire to be dealing with customers please rehire read more

The staff here is horrible! They finally changed them and one guy that usually works in GameStop from alameda and Florence went there. He was awesome, always friendly and knows his games. Everyone else there is horrible and last time they didn't want to give me back my money for canceling my reservation unless I returned an item I had received free! I don't usually cancel games I reserve and they had to check my purchase history before they gave me back the money! Wtf?!? Fuck that GameStop! Unfortunately the dude that got moved there left already and it's still has sa shitty staff there read more

One of the few places where customer service is priority, every time I walk in they Greet me with the biggest smiles saying (Welcome to GameStop) they are helpful and know what they are doing, this has been my home store since day 1 and will always be my Go-To read more

Spoke to some idiot over the phone about picking up my FIFA 17 and he told me they would start giving them out at 9 but that there was no cut off time. Since he said that and I was at work I showed up at 9:50. Once I got there they told me they were closed and I had to come back tomorrow. Not only did I waste gas but they also made me waste my time. Two things I learned from this, 1) continue going to gage and Compton, their employees are actually pretty intelligent. 2) garbage location. These are the same people that want more money on their paycheck read more

I'm pretty upset with my experience here. My boyfriend and I stopped in not too long ago, we were about to buy a brand new ps4 a few games and an extra controller. BUT, while in the store one of the people who works there walked up, looked directly at me, then walked around a display and went straight to my boyfriend and asked "anything you looking for today man?" I was completely ignored! I may be female, but I'm the one who's the gamer, not my boyfriend. Now I'm going to Walmart to get my stuff instead. read more
