Usually when I stop by here after school there is great customer service by this one guy. Yesterday March 20th, 2026, there was an employe by the name of "Bryan." I am a streamer on twitch, and I asked if he had any game recommendations. Bryan recommended me a game called "The Valiant." He charges me 37.99 for a code to download the game on steam. When i get home to my surprise I find out the game is originally 24.99 but steam was having a sale where the game was now 6 DOLLARS AND 24 CENTS. I call the store and explain the situation. they tell me to come in at 5PM the next day March 21st, 2026, I enter the store and they tell me, "Theres not much we can do since all cards are final" they also tell me that "we were going to call you but since you were already coming, we decided not to." They also told me about the pin pad saying if the price looked good but at that time, I didn't know the game was SIX DOLLARS BRYAN. Not only did they take 30 dollars from a 16-year-old kid (me). William, Andrea, Adam, and Diana are super friendly. They always greet you as you walk in. On top of that they try and help you with any issue you might have. Even if something isn't in stock, they will try to figure out what your next best option is, whether it be getting it online, and ship to the store or suggesting to just wait when they get new stock. If I could give -5 I would. I call in advance to make sure they had this adapter that I needed, they assured me they had it so I went ahead and drove 35 minutes in the rain just to find out back at home that they deliberately took out a piece off the adapter that is completely necessary. Without it it's useless and yes I feel it was on purpose because since the beginning he was having this rude attitude. I was waiting outside in the rain because they only allow five people at a time inside the store, after one of the people inside left, the man in front of me went to go inside with his son and they said nothing about it. After another person left the store I counted how many people were inside they were only 4 so I went ahead and enter the store but he told to wait outside that I was going to be told when I could enter, which I found totally unfair since they did not say nothing to the person that entered before me. Finally after five more minutes and another two people left they let me in and it was only one person inside the store out of the five that are allowed, of course I wasn't happy about it and I let them see that. I wasn't rude or anything I just didn't make the Smalltalk that you usually do when you're being treated nicely, I just went ahead and requested my adapter to pay for it and leave. I did not want be in that store any longer than what was strictly necessary. My only mistake was not check the bag before leaving but I was in a rush, it was raining and I still needed to drive back home for another 35 minutes. Make yourself a favor and do not come to this store or if you necessarily need to come here check everything you buy before leaving, my mistake was trusting this people. Never again. read more

We have been customers since this location opened. Always received excellent Customer Service, Employees always did there diligence to inform the customer of any new items arriving, answering questions, and especially friendly. Had a question regarding the release of the new Xbox. Called and after three phone calls they answered. Michael informed me to call a day before to see if they were receiving any. I called other locations and every location informed me they are receiving a limited stock. Some 3 or 4 consoles. Advice to anyone looking for the new XBox or PS5 for Christmas . Call around and be informed. This location might not want to give any information, but other locations do want your business. They will answer your questions with one phone call. read more

Game advisor at the register was very helpful and friendly. Just dropped $400 they better be. Anyway store is nice, clean, and had a/c lol. I liked that all the game advisors there spoke some sort of Spanish since Hispanics are their top customers in this store. read more

So I walked in it was the launch for call of duty when arrived I got the game and stuff was checked out by a girl named Catalina she was nice we asked her for a poster and she said she had to ask the manager so long story short he said you have to be there by 7:30 for the launch which when we pre ordered they told us 9 we arrived at 8:30 so that really makes no sense he said that he couldn't give us those because they were raffles earlier that evening well they had 2 hanging so what was going to happen to those obviously they were going to take them will never come here again I'd rather drive further than come here with that manager it was some Hispanic chunky guy I didn't catch his name which I honestly wish I would of has no customer service skills nor the attire to be dealing with customers please rehire read more

This is been my home store for years so I when to pick up the copy of Pokémon Ultra Sun & Moon for the midnight launch and the guy at the door was asking for recipe that I didn't have but I have the damn membership anyways it's no need to have it recipe on top of that I payed half for the veteran pack and he was like the register r close u can come back later cuz u can't pay... So how do that make sense if u doing midnight launch w the damn registers close and on top of that they didn't notified costumers w that BS I'm planing to take my business to Best Buy instead this ppl is careless... this store used to be great specially at midnight launch now it's trash ppl w no knowledge at all bad information... The staff here is horrible! They finally changed them and one guy that usually works in GameStop from alameda and Florence went there. He was awesome, always friendly and knows his games. Everyone else there is horrible and last time they didn't want to give me back my money for canceling my reservation unless I returned an item I had received free! I don't usually cancel games I reserve and they had to check my purchase history before they gave me back the money! Wtf?!? Fuck that GameStop! Spoke to some idiot over the phone about picking up my FIFA 17 and he told me they would start giving them out at 9 but that there was no cut off time. Since he said that and I was at work I showed up at 9:50. Once I got there they told me they were closed and I had to come back tomorrow. Not only did I waste gas but they also made me waste my time. Two things I learned from this, 1) continue going to gage and Compton, their employees are actually pretty intelligent. 2) garbage location. I'm pretty upset with my experience here. My boyfriend and I stopped in not too long ago, we were about to buy a brand new ps4 a few games and an extra controller. BUT, while in the store one of the people who works there walked up, looked directly at me, then walked around a display and went straight to my boyfriend and asked "anything you looking for today man?"
