Vinyls and collectibles aren't really my thing but this shop made it pretty tempting to get into…read more They have an impressive collection of sports cards and memorabilia, alongside a great selection of records. I especially loved that they had a variety of easy, affordable items spread throughout the shop, such as gumball machines for different cards or 3 for $10 deals. If you're just getting started in collecting or vinyl this would be a great first stop and the staff can definitely steer you in the right direction. I stopped by just to peruse and the staff was super friendly and eager to help out, honestly I recommend Platinum for the customer service alone because they were awesome and really know their stuff.

Tons of sports memorabilia and vinyls that are authentic CLASSICs and OGs from their original release dates. The covers on the vinyls are in perfect condition and they have vinyls from then and now. They also offer amazingly crafted wood work done by hand by a super cool guy that is very hospitable and has a cool story. These type of shops are rare to find with rare people inside. The big boss gave me a deal for Father's Day and is patient and so so friendly and cool. I felt like I was walking into an Uncle's shop I've been going to for years, they make you feel like family. Love it and will always come back! Thanks guys!

Great board game/comic store with plenty of room for people to play games. I didn't realize they…read morehad a whole downstairs open to players. My brother needed to play a round of Star Wars Imperial Assault for a school class, and I had been wanting to try it out, so I came down and played it with him and a few other people. We went downstairs and had a nice big table and chairs available to us. It was nice to have space to play where it was nice and quiet and we could all easily hear each other. You can bring your own games to play or also borrow a game from their game library to play. It's a good idea and obviously brings in potential customers. After playing the game I felt like I should probably buy something to support the store that had let us use their room for 2 hours. I ended up picking up a Spider-man dice master set as well as some boosters. Prices on these items were good, slightly above Amazon. Buying small items is never an issue and usually worth the price. The issue at small local stores like these is the price on larger items. Star Wars Imperial Assault was $99 + tax here. I can get it on Amazon for $60. I know, I know, we need to support local businesses and all that, but for a $40 price difference I have to go to Amazon on things like this. I'll buy the expansions from my local shop. They've got a good amount of tournaments and game nights going on, definitely worth checking out if you're in the area and like playing games.

Staff is amazing! They really support the card game community in the local area and stand up for…read morethose who struggle to do so for themselves. Play what you want to play!

In a nut shell, Game Haven is a phenomenal, local business and community…read more This store has just about everything a nerd could want. If you want to find people to play Pokémon or Yu-Gi-Oh with, every Saturday they have tournaments. You like magic cards, there is almost always someone in the store playing magic but every Friday they always have some magic event happening. You like painting figurines and playing war hammer, they have a section set up for you and every Monday is night where people come to paint there figurines. Outside of this they have a great cafe. They have your standard coffees but my favorite thing is they have a ever changing specialty drinks special that changes season to season or if their is a big nerdy event happening. On of my favorite drinks I had was when they made drinks inspired by and to celebrated "Detective Pikachu". The biggest item for me this store offers is their board games. They have a ton of demos you can play in the store and cafe or rent to take home. Every Tuesday night and Sunday their is a community that comes together to play some board games. If their is a game you want to play and not sure you want to buy it yet, come to these events. If you go often enough and I am sure someone will bring your game in and you will get to play it. For me, these events are like a midweek Christmas, always looking forward to them. As for their events, what I have said does not even scratch the surface. Game Have always seems to have something coming down the pipeline. They have Mini-Cons, Halloween events, psychic and fortune-telling events and so so much more. They support local vendors and artists and just as a ridiculously amazing community. Not to get to personal but Game Haven's community is very inviting and accepting. From their customers, to their employees, to the owner himself. I was very anti-social and depressed a few years ago but Game Havens community accepted me, and I have met some outstanding people and made some life long friendships. A lot of these events have been suspended due to the pandemic but once everything is over, I encourage you to come to this location if this is a community you want to be a part of. Come to one of the events, have a cup of coffee or tea, sit down and as long as you come with a positive outlook and are understanding and respectful, you will have a fun and outstanding time that you will not soon forget!
