Personal service from the owners. They were very helpful in choosing a leaf blower.

Although I usually shop Home Depot for my Do-It-Yourself (DIY) items, there are times where Lowes…read moreis a better choice. My impression is that HD is geared more for the pros while Lowes is more for regular consumer DIYers. So, I use their respective apps and check what they have for my projects. I find that Lowes is better for some of my projects. For example, I find a better selection of project boards like 2'x4' plywood in Lowes than in HD. For shelving, I like the Project Source brand components marketed by Lowes.

Update after installs. I had a toilet install and a vanity install. While the customer service from…read morethe Lowe's reps themselves were great it was just a lot of confusion and calling different people to get the correct information when scheduling the vanity. Lowe's uses local companies in the areas and Lowe's then becomes sort of like the "middle man" at least that's what it felt like. We ran into issues when scheduling the vanity install and it took multiple trips to Lowe's and multiple phone calls to get the appointment. It was a lot of hassle that I prefer not to deal with. I thought going throw Lowe's to schedule install would make things easier, but after that experience, I feel as though it might be easier to purchase what I need from Lowe's and the hire people myself for the install. In the end the installation happened and I'm satisfied with the product but just wish I didn't go through the hassle of it all. Again the Lowe's employees were patient and kind so I really appreciate them.

Parking is ample, access around can be tricky as sections can be narrow but is manageable. Staff here are super helpful and friendly. Everything from plants, to bird feeders and seeds, to a gift for anyone. Landscape services are available here. Grab a coffee at Rise Up and come through, Homestead is a neighborhood fun stop place.

So, temper my review with this in mind. ;) That being said, I have zero complaints about this location. Other than... it simply doesn't have the same footprint they have out in D-ville. It feels cramped inside, and there isn't a lot of room for a cart or moving around too much. Still, they have a ton of gardening and decorating products, especially around Christmastime! We were actually here to see Santa, since we couldn't book him at the other location. But, I'm glad we checked it out. They have a Rise Up coffee shop attached too, which was convenient. Made for a nice little treat after shopping. I really don't have a lot else to say. It's still hit-or-miss as far as value is concerned. Some items seem vastly overpriced, and others are more reasonable. You'll pay more for seasonal items, of course, but check back after said season is over (or close to its end), and you can find some very good bargains. The customer service is on par as well. Very friendly staff who are helpful and approachable. Never had an issue with service at Homestead! Overall, great garden shop in Severna Park, and were it closer, I'd be a regular here instead. I love their holiday train setup in the back as well! (Though, again, Davidsonville has a LOT more space for a MUCH bigger display... but it's the effort that matters, and both deserve the highest marks!)

I called the store , a serviceman was sent out, he increased spring tension and stuffed more padding in the cushions. After a couple of months I called again, the couch was lumpy, the same serviceman, same result. I called the Sofa Store talked to the store manage, I told her I was not satisfied with the couch and wanted to return it. They offered me a 20% discount on a new couch. The Sofa Store sells couches, I paid $2000 for a couch that was junk and they would do nothing about it. I would not recommend them or their products.

I didn't walk more than 5 steps into the store before someone was by my side asking me what I was looking for and how they can help. Yes, I was looking for something in particular, but no I don't need you to watch me and give me input on every little thing. Him letting me know the layout of the store was helpful, but still not really necessary. I just want ti browse and be left alone, I will ask you if I have questions. Anyway, I was very underwhelmed by their couches on display, they are all out dated looking and just ugly. The store is also huge and everything is spread out, it seemed empty or at least lacking personality or decoration, or something . Maybe that's because of covid and lack of supply? Idk, but again everything was super traditional, not my style at all. Overall I was very turned off by the sales approach and would not return. They need to come up with a more modern way of selling furniture because this is not going to work for future generations in my opinion.

I initially thought he was just friendly. When I was in line waiting for my turn, I heard him loudly talking to the Mexican man in front of me. Brandon asked him if he was a Patriots fan because the of the man's hat. Before the man could answer, Brandon started talking about how he doesn't watch football anymore because they don't stand for the national anthem. No one responded or fed into his attempt at debate. Brandon looked at me and said that im probably a Raven's fan. I thought it was odd because I had on a Washington hat. I simply responded, "No i'm a Washington fan. " I did not bring up the mascot because I didn't want to argue. When I pulled up to the store , I saw a small inexpensive white or light gray pick up truck with a huge confederate flag hanging on the back of it and numerous confederate bumper stickers on the front of it. After 30 minutes of shopping it was still there. I was loading my things in my suv when I saw someone that I knew, so I stopped to talk for a few. While we were talking, Brandon came outside, got in his truck and moved it from the parking spot that he was initially in on the side to a parking spot right beside us. The person that I was talking to asked me, "What's up with him?" I told them that he just wants attention. He was trying to get a rise out of the Mexican guy and now he's trying to antagonize us. We ignored him as he sat in his car and stared at us until we left. Brandon definitely seems like an extremest!! He's definitely in need of attention. He's definitely looking for an altercation!!! It makes me wondering how many other blacks and Hispanics has he done this to??
