During the wind storm in September 2020, our roof had several shingles blow off. We hired Buena…read moreVista to replace the shingles and Edgar mentioned that our roof was in bad shape and really needed to be replaced. The roof was only 10 years old so we opted to just replace the missing shingles. Two months later when it started to rain, we noticed a bad roof leak in our family room. We called Buena Vista and Edgar found that our roof vents were damaged in the wind storm and were leaking. He recommended replacing the whole roof. We filed a claim with our insurance company (Travelers) and they sent out an inspector. To make a long story short, Buena Vista replaced our roof and did an awesome job and Travelers paid for part of the costs. We live the gorge and went with ridge vents and heavy duty shingles. Our neighbor who is a contractor said it was the best roof installation he had ever seen. Buena Vista is the best roofing company in Clark County for the following reasons: 1. Communication: they respond quickly and communicate accurately. 2. Value: they charge a reasonable cost compared to other roofers but their workmanship is top notch. 3. Reliability: they show up to work when they are supposed to. 4. People: their crews, office staff and owners are all super nice and friendly. They genuinely love their work. I speak some Spanish and it was great to get some practice. Need a roof repaired or replaced, check out Buena Vista. You won't be disappointed. Scott

On December 22, 2022, with a wind storm underway (and a temperature well below freezing), a couple of ridge tiles blew off the house. Immediately thereafter, this business indicated that additional measurements would be necessary, that work could not begin before 10/3/19 and that payment by check or credit card bearing a "convenience fee" of 2.5% was immediately payable. I replied that I would pay the installer making the additional measurements a cash payment on the day he arrived at my home since I didn't have personal checks and since I didn't want to pay a convenience fee. In reply to this, the operations manager wrote to me saying, "It appears that we are not the company for you so we are asking you to find another company to complete the job." There is not "another company," I insisted that the business not walk off the job and I presented a cashier's check for 50% down that was refused when I visited the office that same afternoon

For a few years now, I had considered purchasing a pressure washer. In the Pacific Northwest…read moreeverything grows. Concrete grows, roofs grow, things even grow on your cars when you're driving them. But I never really could find the time and I also didn't really know what I was doing. I didn't want to damage the concrete and I also wasn't sure how often I would have to do it or how much work would be involved. Eventually I started searching for a local company who could clean our embarrassingly mossy and living driveway and sidewalks. I saw a few companies but a lot of them seemed very much like hiring a neighbor to do it and I was a little concerned at the lack of insurance and bonding. I came across Northwest soft wash initially on a Facebook ad. I didn't think too much of it until it came across my feed in Yelp as well, so I went to their website to take a look. On a whim, I called and asked for a consultation and estimate. One thing I can say without any doubt is that they have the best customer service. There was actually a part of me that was worried that it was a scam because of how nice they were and how quickly they could get out to the house. After they took a look at the square meters that they would be pressure washing they sent me a quote. The quote was not the cheapest around, but it did offer a treatment that could reduce the speed of the moss growing back and you get what you pay for. So I agreed to the fee, paid a small deposit, and within less than a week they were out to pressure wash my concrete. Steven was super friendly and did an amazing job. He was out at our house for almost 4 hours really making sure that the concrete was clean and looked well. He also made a point to get the mud and Moss cleaned up afterwards so it wasn't just sprayed into the street. When I was paying for the service, I mentioned my gutters and he offered to get on the roof and look and take photos of it for me as well no charge. The customer service at this place is amazing and I highly recommend them. So far they have only pressure washed our walks and driveway, but I could definitely see utilizing them for gutter cleanings and roof cleaning in the future!

I'm glad I decided to get more vendors to take a look at the issues, because it turns out all my ventilation design needs to be changed, I have wood rot, and several leaks where the mold is growing. I would have respected it if he had just explained that I should look further into the issues up there, but he doesn't think he can take the job.
