ABOVE & BEYOND, at these prices!?!? I do not recall ever being so surprised, and this is important, on the UPSIDE, in a person, place or thing!! If you DON'T call them, you are: 1). paying to much!! like 50%-65% to much! I paid just over half the next best quote I received elsewhere 2). you're options are very limited. Galaxy has the lowest minimum time required (4 to 5 hours depending on circumstances) and their available to work 24/7. 3). Possibly getting lessor skilled personal. . . Ok, that's a guess, I don't use security assistance except for the one time, but hear me out! Our Security Personal person, Julian - Hey Julian , should have his own tv or YouTube show, seriously! His professional demeanor, and the fact I know he was there (here) at least 15 minutes before he was due, immediately calmed my girls anxiety over the situation that caused the need for security. He calmed her down w/ his smooth and confident demeanor, reassured her w/ reminders of his experience, and connected w/ her on some commonalities they shared. I was calmed by his firearm, training, and linebacker-esk volume! When the did impact the fan, we received regular and detailed updates! Julian is BOSS!! I couldn't imagine using another service! Thanks again and always Julian, YOU are the man!!! Vincent read more

Had a urgent need for a fumigation guard service to watch our small townhouse complex in San Pedro. Mike came to the rescue and was able to provide us with continual 48 hour guard service with just a few hours notice. The guards, James and Brian, were highly professional, timely, thorough and kindly sent me text updates every twenty minutes. They were always onsite and gave us great piece of mind during our time away. Would highly recommend A+ read more

I first became familiar with Galaxy security while on a job site . I noticed the professional demeanor and the command presence that the guards had . I asked the security guard on the site for his card. Now several months after . I'm now using their services times. I've used them in different capacities to patrol and provide security services at both of my warehouse locations for my company and they have been great. Not only I've they been able to provide security for my establishment during this hectic year but they also provided a sense of relief for all of my employees and staff. I highly recommend them for not only private events but also for all your security needs. They have come trough for me when I've needed security personal in my offices in the middle of the night as well as scheduled services . The supervisor stops in several times and ensures the guards are always attentive to our needs and work with the command post directions. Having them in our establishments have also decreased theft and vandalism . Big thumbs up to Galaxy read more

We used Galaxy Security for temporary residential service when our house was being tented for termites. I'm assuming there are a lot of fake reviews on here because it's shocking that there are no other negative reviews after the experience we have had working with Galaxy. 1st off we tried several times to work with Galaxy and allow them to make situations right. I can't talk about specific cases due to privacy but let me just say that the guards were either not background checked or the training they claim they conduct is as basic as they said it was which was the state minimum. Guards were on time and showed up but after that, they were either acting inappropriately on-site or in their interactions with our employees. Repeatedly tried to discuss the issues with the owner,"Mike" and he became defensive along with his inexperienced HR representative who clearly did not know what he was doing either. read more

Galaxy Security Company - this is the last guard- making out with his girlfriend on site at our facility - Security Services Near Me - Torrance, California

I work at a community college and needed to hire security for a large event. It was a slightly last minute need so I put out a request here on Yelp. Mike responded immediately with contact info and interest. We got everything set up the week of our event. On the day of, Mike came personally with his crew to get set up and settled in. And when one of his guards didn't work out, he was replaced within an hour. His team is friendly, responsive, professional, and willing to go the extra mile. I am beyond impressed and VERY grateful!! read more

When my husband's business had a fire and nearly burnt down over the holidays, Mike made it happen and got a guard there to secure the burned building within a few hours notice. Galaxy Security went above and beyond to make it happen during a very stressful week. Guard was prompt and professional. Would highly recommend. Sorry that I didn't get around to writing this review sooner! read more

Great security team. Thank you so much for your service miguel. I recommend the services most indefinitely.

Garbage- Called in the early afternoon told them I needed a security for my Lounge this evening, and I gave all the pertinent information. They asked me for my email to send a contract which I should get in a couple of hours. Time flew, I called back 4 hours later and the same guy that took my info said, "Oh! Yes! Our insurance doesn't cover bars." Very unprofessional now I'm stuck. Thanks Galaxy Security! IN REFERENCE TO YOUR REPLY: Thanks for the tip. First of all you should know your business and it's obvious you don't. I didn't ask for someone to sit in a parking lot or watch a door at a warehouse while eating a donut. I was very explicit with what I needed to which you stated no problem and you left me hanging, point blank. But no worries I found a real security company to cover. Best of Luck. read more

Found Galaxy Security after a different local security company failed to follow-up with even a quote, they were able to accommodate same day on short notice, were flexible, professional and quick to respond, with great rates, haven't even finished using their service, but felt compelled to leave this 5 star review. Called them to watch over my home while it was being fumigated. Will definitely use Mike's service again if I need security. read more

I needed security for a scheduled project film being done inside a business during the weekend of the Hollywood riots where stores were being looted and windows being shattered. Mike gave me a simple plan, asked the right questions and alerted me via phone of outside situation. From day to night...Mike stayed with our crew, keeping everyone comfortable and safe with our cars and equipment's. There was some rioters and helicopters within blocks...but we had just finished before midnight. Mike gave me a couple of possible situation warning but we were finished and completely satisfied with Galaxy Security and Mike. Mike knew what to do and was visible and available at all times. read more

Had a great encounter with Mr. Valcarce over at Temecula, I was walking my dog and the collar snapped off and she started to run towards the Main Street and Mr. Valcarce "the security guard" saw me running after her and he ran after her as well and got her right on time before any harm could have happen. Working with Mike at Galaxy has always been a seamless process. As an event planner, having reliable vendors is half the battle, and Mike's guys always come through. We have worked with Galaxy several times over the past year or two, for various types of events where we needed private security, and they have become our go-to company. We will continue to work with Mike due to his responsiveness and professionalism. I would definitely recommend this company. read more

Highest recommendation. I had very short notice and contacted Galaxy at the last minute and late at night. Mike was predisposed when I called but still took the time to be personable and schedule us in all while we changed the details multiple times. Mike assured us he would take care of us and he did. Not only were they certified, they were well rated on Yelp and had the best rates of all the others I contacted. You really gave us peace of mind Mike! Thanks to you and your team for your professionalism and excellent communication! read more

I'd rate Galaxy Security Company 10 stars if I could. For our medium-sized shopping center renovation/construction project I contacted 6-7 other security firms for estimates and proposals, and Galaxy hands down had the best pricing in combination with the the most flexible scheduling. The owner/manager Mike Valcarce gave me the best service at the best price. I found him professional, pleasant, honest, eager to please, happy to problem solve, easy to contact, and accommodating in every possible way. He provided all necessary documentation such as insurance, licensing, contract proposals without delay. He hires excellent people with whom I could easily communicate via cellphone to periodically monitor our property project. Galaxy far exceeded expectations. No headaches, drama, disappointments, etc. Just smooth sailing. I highly, highly recommend Galaxy Security Company, and would use them again without hesitation. read more
