We were working a building fire which ended up burning down 8 different condos. I tried my luck with many different Security service companies and not a single one was able to get a guard out promptly. I tried my luck with Protect-US security, and with the help of Mo, I was able to get a guard on-site within just a few hours! Now, it was a big demand, but Mo really did all he could to assist us in every possible way. Not only was he constantly checking in to ensure all services & needs were being met, but he really went out of his way to ensure we got the best experience possible. As far as the on-site personnel, They were courteous, vigilant, and regularly ensured the property was being watched 24/7. The On-site personnel regularly stopped folks from breaking in & updated us with reports of the nights activity was high. Absolutely will use again for any other security needs!

Five Stars Isn't Enough for Eric Peterson! I would give him 100 stars if I could!…read more If you need a process server or private investigator who actually gets the job done, look no further than Eric Peterson. To put it into perspective: my attorney had previously hired a process server who spent an entire month trying--and failing--to locate and serve the defendant in my case. After four frustrating weeks of zero progress, Eric stepped in. He had the defendant located and served in less than 24 hours. This wasn't an easy task, either. The service was at a highly secure and challenging location--one that seemed impossible for others, but proved to be no challenge at all for Eric. The level of efficiency, speed, and sheer professionalism he brings to the table is unmatched. Beyond his incredible skills and hustle, Eric is just a genuinely great person to work with--communicative, trustworthy, and deeply dedicated. He took a high-stress situation and completely turned it around overnight. I cannot recommend Eric Peterson highly enough. If you want results instead of excuses, he is your guy! I will be sure to use him if ever needed down the road.

WARNING TO SECURITY GUARDS & CLIENTS: UNLICENSED / WAGE THEFT OPERATOR…read more DO NOT WORK FOR OR HIRE JOSH DIAS / GHOST SECURITY. This operation is run by Josh Dias under the name "Ghost Security." If you are a licensed security guard, stay far away. Ghost Security, Inc. (California PPO License #121744), operated by Josh Dias, is actively engaging in a systemic pattern of willful wage theft, labor law evasion, and retaliatory intimidation targeting security professionals. Irrefutable text evidence from multiple employees proves that Josh Dias intentionally misclassifies professional security guards as "1099 independent contractors" to illegally evade state payroll taxes, dodge mandatory workers' compensation insurance, and refuse legally required daily overtime and double-time rates. When I explicitly questioned about standard W-2 onboarding for a grueling 14-hour shift, Josh stated in writing, "No way I'm doing double pay ot. That would be suicide to my business," openly admitting that he prioritizes personal profit over state laws. This is not an isolated incident; his standard operating procedure across multiple guards involves scheduling punishing shifts lasting 12, 13, 15, and 16 hours straight, and then actively withholding their paychecks. The moment an employee asks to meet up to collect their hard-earned money, Josh routinely ignores calls, blocks their numbers, locks them out of company scheduling apps, and ghosts them entirely. When caught text-messaging from an unblocked phone line, he immediately resorts to toxic gaslighting and verbal abuse--asking employees if they have "mental issues" simply for demanding their wages--and even attempts to intimidate me into silence with empty, fraudulent threats of a "$25k lawsuit". Property owners, commercial clients, and HOAs need to be aware that hiring this, non-compliant operation invites catastrophic vicarious liability onto their premises if a guard is injured on site. To all exploited workers: do not let his bullying scare you, hold onto your text receipts, file an immediate wage theft claim with the California Labor Commissioner's Office (DLSE), and submit a priority disciplinary complaint directly to the Bureau of Security and Investigative Services (BSIS) to get PPO License #121744 audited and revoked permanently.

But the BIG difference was that this time Miguel, the service technician, actually knew what he was doing! He worked in a timely fashion, went over everything prior to the install, made sure everything was working properly (even double checked) and answered all my questions. Could not be happier with the experience this time. So five star review! One of my pet peeves with Yelp reviewers in general is that everybody is afraid to share pricing info. I'm sure readers are dying to know how much their requested service "should" cost. Often they say "reasonable", "better than another quote" etc. - which are all totally useless. Give us actual numbers! Reviewers seem to have love affairs with their service people and cost just isn't that important, at least in their reviews. For this service (think ADT pricing is pretty standard) - equipment cost for 5 motion detectors, 5 sensors and security panel $200 + tax including install. Wish they had cameras, but it was suggested that Ring is best for those. Monitoring charge is $45/month for a two year contract.
