I hired Green Knight Security for two nights while my house was being tented for termites. I opted for "dusk 'til dawn" security, which occurred from 6 pm to 8 am. This required two seven hour shifts per evening. On both evenings, the uniformed guard showed up promptly a few minutes before 6 pm. My neighbor subsequently informed me that she saw several of the assigned guards walking my property each evening. I arrived back at my home at 8 am each morning; the guards had left by that time. However, I am satisfied with the peace of mind that I needed while undergoing the stressful termite tenting process. I also informed my local police department that my house was being tented for the two evenings, and that uniformed guards were at my property each night; I suggest that all homeowners do the same. read more

After my initial yelp review, Daryl from management called. We eventually connected and he apologized for the service, clarified how/why it may have occurred, and (without my asking) issued me a check refunding me for 5 hours of service paid. I certainly appreciate the gesture. It does not change my general opinion; I do not believe he expected it would. But he did what made sense and felt correct to ease some of the frustration. As I cannot edit the initial review, I will update here to state that I had 5 hired shifts - 2 day time, 2 evening into night and 2 graveyard/early morning. I tried introducing myself to each shift and observed 2 shifts - 1 in daytime even - were asleep. Yet, as a gesture, I will delete the actual photos of the workers who fell asleep on the job (assuming Yelp permits it) from my review. read more

They also provided information about the company and how it regulates and it's all pretty simple and easy to follow. Last minute we decided to hire security for the second night of getting our house fumigated. I contacted several companies and either they charged double because it was day off or they couldn't accommodate us. The person I spoke to at Green Knight was very nice and helpful. After getting the prices (which were extremely reasonable) we decided to hire them. The guard sat in his car in our driveway overnight.
