I go here regularly because it's very close to where I live. Every time I get the lady, I have a great experience. Every time I get the gentleman, it's rushed. This time, I walked in and he was working with another customer. He leaned back and made eye contact so I know he saw me. Another lady walked in, he greeted her and jumped up to help her. She was seated first, given a longer pedi, and I was never asked what type of pedi I wanted. The lady always does the scrub, he didn't even ask me. Not at all a good experience on my birthday. They accommodated me for a last minute mani. I went in an hour before they closed and asked for a basic manicure. I had a lot of nail damage from months of gel polish so I asked the nail tech to remove any bumps or rough patches, and to clean up my nail beds and cuticles. The nail tech was really nice and took her time with the mani (especially the cuticle removal). Paid $15 plus tip. Reasonable prices and good service! read more

Let me start off by saying that I've cheated on my regular nail tech at Urbane and I will never do it again! Did this person at Galaxy even go to nail tech school? 'Cause I can do a better job. In fact, I'm so grateful that I have a drimmel tool at home. After thoroughly checking out my dried nails in the car I promptly went home and evened these acrylics out. He put this acrylic on super thick, but it wasn't even consistent on each nail. They were lopsided and lumpy. Paint job, two thumbs down. I thought I'd gotten the worst manicure at Face Beaters, previously, Looksey Too, but this one at Galaxy takes the cake. I only went here because they're close to my parents' house and I'm always over there. I saw that they had a good deal on Mani/Pedi combo for $35. I might would go back for a pedi, but never for my nails again. I mean, just sad. read more

I was told by a friend to come here as I needed a pedicure and I was out of town. I came on a Thursday morning and Lars did my toes. He was great and I am very happy I passed over the negative reviews and came. No rush at all. My pedicure took about an hour and 15 minutes. Very relaxing. The polish job was spot on as well. Well I found a new contender for top nail spot. Well, actually, Cheryl E found it and brought me here, so I can't claim all the credit! When we were here it was relaxed, quiet and nearly empty. I was glad we had appointments; since it was an off time (Wed afternoon), there weren't a lot of people working. It seems like maybe they have folks they can call in if it gets busy. In any case, lovely atmosphere, spotlessly clean, with nice chairs. The pedicure felt very good - even though I know she removed a lot of skin, it never hurt and they were never rough with me. They let us stay in the chairs for the mani, which was really relaxing and kept my toes from getting smudged as sometimes happens when you have to move from chair to table. This place is nice and clean. All of the staff (I have only ever seen the same 4 people) are nice, accommodating, and good at their jobs. They seem to have thought of most things and decided to offer them at their store. For instance, they give you a pillow to rest your arm on if you are having a mani at the same time as a pedi and it requires you to reach your arms across your body. Is that necessary? No, but it is nice. They have a large selection of colors and a variety of "packages." This salon may just have the best "value." Some salons require you to pay a lot for the same quality and services, while others let you pay less but the quality is less too. Good services included in the base level manis and pedis. I'm a (formerly) regular customer who is shocked at how I was treated. I made an appointment after they were too busy the day I dropped in. When I went for my appointment, they set me up like they were going to do it and made me wait 15 minutes before moving someone else in line in front of me. I haven't had the best luck with nail salons in OKC, but I have finally found Galaxy Nails. If it wasn't a 20 minute drive, I would go again. A good pedicure for me is a place that is clean and the pedicurist doesn't try to talk me into other services (Deluxe? Super Deluxe? Eyebrow Wax?). The ladies were super friendly here. They even let my boss and I sit in the massage chairs to talk about work as long as we wanted. No complaints on anything, really. read more

This place is great. It is very clean and the staff is incredibly nice. My pedicure always lasts at least two weeks and they did a wonderful job waxing my eyebrows. Quick and inexpensive. read more

I went in for a fill and spa pedi. Entered at 1121a, left at 1228p. The pedi was the quickest one I've ever had. The most time was spent cleaning up the polish from around my toes. The fill was okay, I've had worst. I was really hoping this place would be good since its close to where I live, but I can definitely say I won't be going back. read more

The staff is friendly and remembered me from a previous visit. It is extremely clean with a good selection of colors. It had been 3 weeks since they applied my gel nails, which still looked amazing when they soaked them off. The staff soaked off my gel polish (while getting my pedicure), one hand at a time so I could still play on my phone! They are very accommodating-- my friend was running late and they left the chair next to me open for her. I would recommend this place to everyone. read more

I've been coming to Galaxy for years and the service and quality has increasingly gotten worse and worse. Today I had a very disappointing pedicure. I wasn't asked if I'd like the deluxe option (which I always do) and the whole thing was rushed and sloppy. It lasted 15 minutes! Basically they didn't care. Don't go save your time and money worse experience in a nail salon in my life and I will never go back took forever cause of no help i was there for 5hrs just in the end having to shape my own nails then he painted them with polish and it was full of particles from other people's nails so I ended up having to take the Polish off and had to go to another salon to get them done right beware this place is not good at all on my opinion. read more

Terrible salon. It looks clean but that's about all i can say. Slim polish selection. I called ahead and made an appointment for 4 people. When we arrived only one person was available. He was in such a rush that he sliced my sister's toe with the cuticle scissors. She wouldn't stop bleeding and finally asked him to just stop. He never apologized to her (even though she was crying) and they even charged us for her pedicure. I will never return and plan on spreading the word about this salon. Beware! read more
