I have been battling chronic dry foot along with multiple toenail fungi for decades and have not gotten a pedicure in years due to fear of judgement. Nobody was judging me at all even though I had to take multiple breaks due to the cleansers stinging my cuticles, the girls were so patient with me! I am so grateful to finally feel relief and cannot wait to start my journey to healthy feet!

very impressed !! love my nails. got a dip design by marina !! it is so beautiful, and holding up well on my natural nails. will be coming back for sure.

I don't come on here often, but this was the worst pedicure I've ever gotten. During my pedicure the "cheese grater" (what I like to call it) was brought out and used with no regard. the balls of my feet and heel were literally grated raw to the point where it started bleeding. to make matters worse after shaving my feet raw she took all of the shavings that were left on the towel and threw it back into the water while my feet were soaking. It was absolutely disgusting. I can barely walk because my feet feel raw. Honestly, this was just absolutely terrible.

My nails immediately after my appointment (added tips and got dip)

I had been getting my dips done at a salon I won't name that absolutely ruined my nails during removal after getting my hands done there about 4x in a row, and my regular pedicure would be chipped within days. So I let that dip set grow fully out for a few months until I had a fully new nail, cut down extremely short. I made an appointment with Dana. She was running late (which is noted in a few of the reviews here), but the salon called and asked me if I could come in 30 minutes later. I had left ~30 minutes of extra time in case they were running late like people had mentioned, and it was perfect! When I showed up, my nails that were literally at the finger line (sooooooooo short- ugh) and I got tips, dip, and a regular pedicure. I requested Dana because I had gotten a few recommendations for her. And oh my god, she was AMAZING. My tips are perfect, the shape is gorgeous and exactly what I asked for, the dip isn't uneven or anything (my standards are pretty low given that I was paying ~$55 at the last place). My total was $95 for a tips, dip, and a mani with regular pedi. It was such an enjoyable experience and Dana seriously knocked it out of the park!!! Also, it has been 11 days and my nails still look PERFECT. I have a tiny chip in one toenail but I run a lot and it tends to happen - I think I got it after about 5 days. SOOOO HIGHLY recommend. And go to Dana!!

Valentine's Day nails

I am so picky when it comes to my nails and Gaelic is my new go to. I was driving back to CT every month to get my nails done because of my unwavering commitment to my previous nail tech until I tried this place. It's truly phenomenal and I almost don't want to write a review just so people won't take up my appointment spots LOL. But they are seriously so great and there's always an entertaining movie playing while I'm there!

The best place I've been to for nails in Boston ! The quality is awesome, lots of colors to choose from and they know how to do designs.

One of the best manis I've ever received! I made and appointment and didn't wait long at all. They had a wide selection of colors and the salon was very clean! I got dip polish removed and a gel manicure for only $40! Nancy did a great job, she was extremely detail oriented down to the last cuticle so it took a little longer but not for lack of efficiency! I will absolutely be back.

Not a bad left hand, still too thick. Unfortunately I am right handed

I had been going here religiously for 2 years. I will never set foot in this establishment again. They increased their prices so high, with nothing in return. I usually get gel mani but was suggested to try the dip since my last gel only lasted 8 days. Throughout the process I asked a couple of questions but was told it would look good, it does NOT. It looks incredibly fake. It is so thick, I might as well be wearing acrylic nails. I am in a wedding and needed to have my nails done. And on top of it, they don't do a manicure when you do a dip nail- just the nails. And they now charge $40 for it and an additional $5 to have it taken off. When I asked to have to taken off and redone with gel- she said I would need to pay for all of it. I told the owner I wouldn't be back and she said I could do what I wanted sorry. And I had been growing my nails, they cut them short and are all different length. Not sure what happened here but after the last gel I got from here only last 8 days, I will not be returning to this place.

It looks like glass

I thought I finally found a good nail salon. When I went to soak off my acrylic nails at home they did not come off. I've soaked off my acrylic nails at home plenty of times and it did not look like how it should look while soaking off. This salon clearly uses illegal monomer. There's no reason why the tip under the acrylic should dissolve before the acrylic does. It literally looks like there is glass on my nail. Horrible.

Nice ladies but say no to their dip-powder

The price here is great, less than $100 for a dip manicure with design.

Super clean, luxury gym. The staff is nice, always friendly and welcoming, and easy to "check-in"…read moreon the app (instead of at the front desk each time). When you join, you get $100 for the Equinox store (carry all major brands), and a free personal pilates session and a private PT session. I will point out they really PUSHED signing up for both after I completed my first sessions, which was annoying. I simply stated that private PT sessions are always super expensive, and on top of a gym membership would be way too much. Instead of accepting that, they pushed (in person and by email) to sign up for "just 2-3/week". I did not appreciate that in the beginning (lucky for them I was under a 1 year contract and couldn't leave just for that). They have something to offer everyone in the way of classes- pilates, cycling, yoga, running, and all types of HIIT. Absolutely loved some of the HIIT classes I took; the downfall is they have very limited times (during the week the latest class is 6:30 pm, and 5:30 pm on Friday). The popular classes get filled up FAST, within 15 minutes (you can set a reminder but if you're not available to book you're out of luck). Weekends also have very limited classes (only in the am). The gym itself is nice, lots of equipment available, pretty small floor space though and can get packed certain days/times. They do a great job of having clean sweat towels (and cool sweat towels) available and the gym is always super clean; they actually mop after each and every class, and spray down equipment. Gym, bathrooms, and showers are always very clean. Although a bit overpriced, they do offer spa services (facials, massages, etc.) and private training sessions (including for pilates). This location also offers a free steam room (other downtown location has a sauna as well), free lockers, and Kiehls products (shampoo, conditioner, body wash). I always appreciate they have little items available for after the shower- hair ties, q-tips, mouthwash, hair dryer, lotion, etc. Downstairs they have a juice bar, again with weird hours. Overall, I love the gym, just wish they offered more classes.

**Update 8/17/22:…read more The owner of the spa, Rupa, had reached out after seeing my review. Her text to me did not address my issues/ how they could've been handled differently. When I tried to politely respond to her message, I received a message that my number had been blocked. I was really hoping that I would have had the chance to speak to the owner about my experience, but this has added further to my poor experience. I hope that moving forward, the business is able to take my experience into consideration to better serve their future customers.

I actually work out in this area and have seen this spa before. It's close to north end and to the water as well. Adara is actually under new ownership now- and the spa has been renovated and looks fabulous. I believe it was earlier this month that they finally opened again after changing ownership. They have some soothing water sounds coming from the entryway right when you walk in. There's also some yummy Lindt chocolate on the table for when you are craving something sweet. I was offered a drink upon arrival and everyone was really sweet. I got the Adara Signature Facial and it was a very relaxing hour. There is some extraction though...but beauty is pain right? Grace was the one who gave me my facial and my skin got so much softer after I came out from there. She used G.M. Collin products on me and basically personalized which product of that line to use when I told her my skin troubles. Everything smelled really great and I've had a bunch of facials before from everywhere I've traveled to. I usually treat myself to one since it's such a staple of a vacation. I found the experience very peaceful and quiet, no crazy noises from outside- felt like i was in my own world. I saw that they do mani/pedi's and the pedicure station LOOKS so nice!!! They have OPI and essie products from what I saw. There's also a fun swinging chair you can sit on if you happen to arrive early. I would definitely recommend since if you compare the pricing to other spas, this one is much friendlier to your wallet and experience is comparable.

If I could give this place no stars, I certainly would. The manicure/pedicure lady, Christine, is…read morethe rudest, most awful person I've ever attempted to receive a luxury service from. I made an appointment for two manicures after purchasing the service from Groupon. Our appointments were made for 7:30pm. We showed up to the salon early, around 7:10pm. We get there to find that the salon is closed; all lights are off, but the door is open. We go inside and call a few names...no one is around, but whoever left the salon last definitely didn't lock up. I proceed to call Christine after finding her number on the website. She very rudely answers and says that our appointments were at 7pm, not 7:30. I am 200% percent positive they were for 7:30 as I checked back with my conversation with my friend. Anyway, we weren't that late for our appointment even if it was for 7pm. We never received a phone call asking if we were coming or if we were alright; nothing. Christine proceeded to tell me that they are only open until 8pm on Wednesdays and she would never schedule an appointment for 7:30pm. I said, well your sign says you are open until 7pm on Wednesdays and her response was that she decided to "stay open late for the groupon". ??????? Can someone help me understand this. I then asked if she would come back to give us the service we paid for and scheduled and she declined. Not only did she decline, but when I told her the sign says they're open until 7 and I was confused, she HUNG. UP. ON. ME. I called her back because it was obviously absurd and she told me that because we missed the appointment she did not "want us as her customers" and I demanded a refund. Thankfully, Groupon gave me a refund and I never have to go to this salon ever again.. STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have bought a groupon for "Indulge Day Spa". I have paid $20 for this groupon and it says " Good…read morefor two 30-minute manicures and 2 glasses of wine" . I went there to get my first manicure last week and instead of having a nice day and getting a relaxing manicure I ended up having my day ruined, being insulted and paying $20 for one manicure and not even getting that to its fullest (not getting the glass of wine). Christine is a very rude person and she insulted me and where I come from. If you want to know more, please read below: When Chrisitne was done doing my nails, she told me that she will give me $5 credit to my next (second) manicure. And her reason was that I one time got an appointment and cancelled less than 24 hours. I told her that I have already paid groupon $20 so if I don't come next time I have already paid $20 for one manicure (which has a base price of $15, so I overpaid her for $5), and if I decide to come next time, I have to pay $10 more for the second time, so I have paid $30 total for two manicures, which will be $15 for each manicure which is the base price for her manicures. So what good had the Groupon deal for me? She started arguing with me and shouting at me, and told me that you cancelled previous time so groupon will not pay me, and many other things....... I told her to calm down and don't shout but she kept going. She insulted me and where I come from twice saying " I don't know what country you come from....." and "This is not your country..." . She was very rude to me and I don't think I have to explain more. This was the worst experience with any salon service I have got till now!
