I originally left a positive review because the quality of the lash work was excellent. Both the…read morelash tech & the master lash tech, who are sisters, are very talented & skilled at what they do. I received many compliments on my lashes over the years, which is why I remained a loyal client for so long. I also want to acknowledge that the salon itself is beautiful. The space is clean, well-maintained, & thoughtfully decorated. The atmosphere is relaxing, the blankets are comfortable, & I appreciated the Christian music and R&B that often played during appointments. It was easy to relax & even fall asleep while getting my lashes done. One issue I experienced involved excessive lash fallout shortly after an appointment. When I brought it to their attention, I felt there was an initial attempt to place the blame on me. During that same situation, I was encouraged to book a full set despite having recently received one & was asked to return the following day to complete the service. While the issue was eventually resolved professionally, the experience left me feeling frustrated & undervalued as a client. Over time, I realized that something always felt off in the overall client experience. I'm not expecting friendship from someone providing a service, but with personal services like lashes, waxing, nails, or massages, clients naturally develop a level of comfort & familiarity. Although there were moments where they were kind, I often felt more tolerated than genuinely appreciated despite my continued support of the business. There were also several moments where communication & rescheduling felt unnecessarily difficult. One interaction that stood out was being placed on hold for over 15 minutes. While on hold, I called from another number & the call was answered immediately. The reaction once realizing it was me made the interaction feel uncomfortable. I also invited them to participate in a volunteer empowerment event for young girls because I believed they could be positive role models & demonstrate what entrepreneurship & success in the community can look like. I viewed it as an opportunity to give back & encourage young girls to see successful women who looked like them pursuing their goals & building businesses of their own. While I fully respect everyone's right to value their time & services, a last-minute disagreement regarding compensation ultimately led us to withdraw the invitation. The situation reinforced some of the concerns I already had regarding communication & professionalism. Looking back, I realize I focused heavily on the quality of the work while overlooking how the overall experience made me feel as a client. The lashes were beautiful, & I still believe both women are highly skilled. However, over time I learned that talent alone is not enough for me personally. Professionalism, communication, & making clients feel genuinely welcomed matter just as much as the final result. If your priority is solely the lash work itself, you may have a positive experience. I can only speak honestly about my own experience as a long-term client.

Good news for Chinatown in Borough Park- like the perfect…read morestorm- haha. they took my temp, required masks, wore masks, sanitized my hands, and even the bottoms of my shoes upon entrance. The other good (thank god) it was cheap! Found the deal on Groupon (caveat emptor), but called first, and they urged me not to buy through Groupon, and to just come in in, and they'd honor the same price (pretty typical Groupon poster move). The bad: the massage! (At least by "Mimi") she def was NOT licensed. This was the most non-relaxing massage ever! Her movements were rough and rapid. I asked for hard pressure, not to be shaken and poked in rapid succession, on a table with uneven legs to boot! The table was flat wood board hard. It was warmed, but very hard- zero cushioning, outside of the blanket covering. My boobs were squished and hurt like a mammogram. Anyway, it was bad. At any given time I expressed any pleasure, she went faster and harder (often on my neck), like a rub n tug gone wild The ugly: about 2 minutes in, I knew it was sucking, so I asked for the massage to go only 60 minutes rather than my initially requested 90. She acknowledged me the approximately 4 times I repeated myself. Including to whoever the person was that kept entering the room during the massage. Creepy. Anyway, something was said in their native tongue. She knew I asked for 60 mins only, because she was able to proclaim "ohhh, why" in English. When it came time to pay, they wanted me to pay for the 90 mins of course, and then we argued for a few, until I said it was a "bad" massage, and I mimicked her violent pulls and shakes -then I asked to see her license. Sheer panic set in! I got the $60 min price plus my Groupon discount!

It was a great experience. It was a wax, then exfoliation then facial type stuff. During the wax, she asked questions just at pulling time so I barely noticed the sting. One week later as I write this, I'm still smoother than I've ever been. All the little dark spots are gone so I now know that it wasn't hyperpigmentation but Ingrown hairs. I'll be back to see her again.

They call the day before to confirm your appts which I thought was very nice. When we first got there for our original appt it seemed as though it was separate rooms at different time slots. There was def miscommunication between the bookings, confirming appts, and the website. Basically if you're booking a couples massage don't use the site. It's more for single bookings in my opinion. However Bianca, was so nice--she was able to accommodate us for another date (which we were fine with) at no charge. She calmed me down a lot being that I'm 9 months pregnant. Super sweet and just went beyond. So upon arriving for our actual appts--Bianca greeted us right away. Took our coats and we were led upstairs within 5 mins. They offered tea or water. They provided us robes/slippers and our own little cubby with a lock and key. We waited maybe 5 more mins after we got dressed --then we got taken upstairs. Very calming inside for sure. Andrew was superb! The best. Abs book with him. He was great. For a prenatal massage I felt amazing afterwards. He informed me that there will be times he's going to ask about guidance specifically the hips since that's where I'm bothered the most being that pregnant people can really only sleep on their sides. Just an amazing massage! Get the lavender scent--it's soooo good. My husband had Holly and she was super nice. He said he loved his first massage ever. She was great. She asked him any pain/problem areas. Glad to say my husband is into spas now lol. The massages and staff definitely made up for the miscommunication that happened in the beginning and happy that we didn't end up cancelling it. Def worth it. Price was under $300. Plus Bianca gifted me a complimentary body scrub which was so nice of her. She's really great. Holly, Andrew and Bianca were amazing! One star off for the website (maybe it needs to be more specific about certain services-- at least for users who's never been to a spa). Def worth a visit. I'll be coming back post natal for another massage.

From the moment I stepped inside, Bianca at the front desk embraced me with such kindness and genuine warmth that I instantly felt safe, welcomed, and cared for. She went above and beyond in a way that truly touched me -- she is a rare gem in customer care, someone who makes you feel seen and valued the second you walk in. My facial with Lydia was nothing short of magical. Her touch was calming, her presence comforting, and the entire experience felt like an exhale I didn't realize I was holding in. I left not only with glowing skin, but with a sense of peace and renewal I haven't felt in a long time. Thank you, Bianca and Lydia, for your compassion, your talent, and your beautiful energy. This visit meant more to me than just a treatment -- it was healing. I am so grateful and can't wait to return. Dorinda
